Isn't it the reason he left ADC, and went to NDC...

This shouldn't be news in my opinion.

We in SW are not noisy and chest beaters like you people. We will solve our problems without constituting nuisance to the social media and society at large. You should be more worried about your region and what happens there and not pretend like you want progress for the SW. Remove the log of wood in your eye. We don't want your fake love
These same problem you have been solving, which has led to the kidnapping of school kids, and the b*heading of a teacher?

The funny part is that those who are making noise are the ones bringing the attention of the right audience to the matter...

While you keep mute in a bid to protect the abysmal governance of your tribe old man.

If not for the noise makers, dem for don kidnap all of ona...

You know why a dog bark is a security measure, even when it can't take on every confrontation... It scares and delay predators attack, and in many cases, stop them on their trail.

The same reason the loudest sound of all creation, is the sound made when their safety is threatened.

Even a lion make loud sounds when threatened by superior force, like other Lions.

Same reason police uses loud alarm, when coming to a robbery scene...

Noise is security.
Silence is death.

Kidnapping will be happening every single day if the people getting kidnapped never speak out.
BusinessRe: TEMU Fined $232 Million For Breaching EU Rules On Sale Of Illegal Products by Blunt99: 4:11pm On May 30
Amerengues2:
Most of those commenting don't understand the gimmicks and antics at play.

This is, though a genuine concern but largely a pretext to the real challenge.

There are growing concerns in the UK, US etc for local manufacturers, Amazon, eBay, NEXT, Argos, Curry etc. Since the advent of Temu, most of the sales of these big companies have kinda dwarfed compared to projections.

Their complaints, though genuine, arose from cost of production. Temu is super cheap because of the model and the exemption from the UK company for some goods and value of items.

1) Temu is Manufacturers to Consumer- it takes a lot to beat that

2) 90% of Temu Sellers don't pay for logistics- they only take their goods to Temu Warehouse in China thereby selling at a ridiculously low fee as Temu helps ship to their destination country.

3) Once you are a seller, you can't raise your price down once it's set and the algorithm is designed to always serve you lowest prices first hence the cheap prices and this drives down sales and lower demand on other companies like Amazon, eBay, etc.

4) Temu is intentionally currently running at a loss to capture the market. This is largely disruption big companies as they've amassed a good proportion of the market share.

Etc. I can keep typing and typing....I found out all these recently when I went into deep research.
Your point is correct, and their reason is valid.

- Substandard
- Protect local industry
- Tighten national security.

That is what a save country does...

Of course, we are not in a sane country, so it may appear abnormal to us.

After all, while we supposedly have consumer protection ministry, we don't experience the benefit of having it.
BusinessRe: TEMU Fined $232 Million For Breaching EU Rules On Sale Of Illegal Products by Blunt99: 4:06pm On May 30
Nelochukwu:
Everything I bought on temu has worked perfectly.

Temu is an open market. You MUST read properly the product description. Did you know that you can get original brand products on temu. Just search and you will be amazed. Buying knockoff stuff most times is why you have such complaints. Iz a Chinese company and China gets you exactly what u pay for.
Even Jumia that has a domicile shop here, including more oversight don't have all their products to standard, including some of the pricey ones,

Let alone Temu, with little oversight and has no domicile shop in Nigeria....

There are always substandard and worn out products....

Even if people pay for substandard, do they also pay for worn out products?
BusinessRe: TEMU Fined $232 Million For Breaching EU Rules On Sale Of Illegal Products by Blunt99: 4:01pm On May 30
In Nigeria, nothing is investigated.

No active customer protection ministry.

Does the culture came with Pancakes and Fillers.

Because nothing natural about the pictures, except the clothings.

But then again...

Does it mean the government and the west doesn't value the lives of his own people (not the entire country right).

What is the fanfare when your kinsmen kids, mothers, fathers, are still in Bandits captivity, and one of them already beheaded live...

What is the fanfare for!?

CrimeRe: Lady Smokes Weed With Torn Bible Pages by Blunt99: 11:53pm On May 28
I will advise the Christians to stop behaving like the Muslims...

Very wrong if she is arrested for smoking with the pages of the Bible....

But for public disturbance and other illegal stuff, then it is valid.

We need to understand that books are inanimate objects prone to worn and torn.

And no spiritual supreme being, need no mortal to fight for him.

End.

codemaniacs:
This has nothing to do with Yoba vs Igb vs Fulni/hwsa.

The children were kidnapped in Oyo state so it is a Yoruba issue not a Yoba vs Igb vs Fulni/hwsa issue.
You just validated my point.

It would have been a Nigeria issue if we all identify as Nigerians, instead of Yoba vs Igb vs the other groups.
CelebritiesRe: Miserable Children's Day - Falz by Blunt99: 7:25pm On May 27
As long it remains:

Yoba vs Igb vs Fulni/hwsa,

nothing will ever get solved in this country.

Not even a protest, or a riot, because there will always be counter protest and riot from the other tribes/regions.

The only solution to Nigeria is disintegration.

End.

A party that can scam its own party members and stake holders,

Imagine what it is capable of doing to the entire country,

And what it is currently doing to the entire country,

Might just be the most disintegrated party before 2027 election.
BusinessRe: Dangote Faces Price War As NNPC Backs Fuel Imports by Blunt99: 9:10pm On May 26
neutralmind:
I'm not in support of NNPC or the government.

However , it's important to note that Dangote is a private enterprise and in a free market.

He should buckle his sleeves and compete like any other business.

Lets bear in mind that monopoly is not healthy too

It appears Dangote is not willing to compete like any other business in Nigeria
As always, he loves monopoly.

Not his first,

Won't be his last.

And every successive government keeps enabling it by destroying indegenous industries, and collecting kickbacks.
Christianity EtcRe: Nigeria Is Dead, Let's Not Deceive Ourselves – Pastor Paul Adefarasin (Video) by Blunt99: 8:58pm On May 26
SmartPolician:
Dey play! Nigeria is not dead. The country is just there, making 2 steps forward and 5 steps backwards. This has always been the norm since 1999. In 2027, the situation remains the same.

We just need a revolutionary leader who is bold and thinks out of the box to stage the biggest upset in the history of the country by correcting many wrongs that current politicians are too afraid to fix due to their baggage and fear of losing elections.
No revolutionary leader is coming.

I love that you are giving yourself that fruitless hope.

But I must break it to you that you are still in your delusion.

Nigeria has one solution, just one, and it is not another election.
