Tolaaaaannni: Really? Please go into more details about my so called "Inferiority complex" I want to know. It's rather fascinating when

people think they know you more than you know yourself just by one post. So please go ahead and explain, the floor is

all yours. I am really.... eager to read your next reply. smiley
It's simple; people have posted that they've gotten the "you don't look African" statement from various Black-Americans and some Caribbean folks before, and for some odd reason (infariority complex) you've taken offence to these people stating that they have such an integrating appearence about themselves. cheesy In your mind you've taken their experience as an offence because you consciously have mentally taken in the atypical homegrown multi-mixtured look, commonly found among the diaspora as a look superior to that of what you know to be that of the average African.

So for those Africans in which have this typical diaspora look, you take their stories of Black-Americans and other Diaspora groups recognizing their similarity to them/us as an offhanded form of bragging and or sign of that they must feel as though they are better than you and other Africans who lack such an appearance. If not the case, for what other reason would you bother attacking them for simply stating that they have a look noticeably common to that of many Black-Americans and or Caribbean folks?

LOL at the chicken who's on this place 24/7 swaking away about a whole bunch of nothingness, telling someone to "get a life"!!! cheesy cheesy Yeah, now that's hilariously ironic, and moronic.

like an hater, well let me just say I could care less. undecided
Your opinion was clearly based on inferiority complexional feelings. smiley

CultureRe: You Don't Look African by Blyss: 11:57pm On Sep 08, 2012
Tolaaaaannni: Wow op !! Congrats on not looking african!. Ok im going to say this with all seriousness, I don't get why people feel the

need to make a post on how "unafrican" they are in a way. I mean why do we need to know about you not looking african? I

don't mean to be rude but some threads are just unnecessary. come to think of it, what exactly is the concrete african

look?? Looking "Unafrican" should not be such an issue, considering that the continent africa is very diverse, and filled

with people that have different looks, facial features, and different skin tones. Yes its true, we face different

experiences abroad with people curious about our identity but its really nothing to dwell on because its part of daily

life. Foreign people will always be curious if they are discombobulated.
You sound like a hater to me. Just saying. undecided
SportsRe: Tennis US Open 2012.. by Blyss: 3:25am On Sep 07, 2012
Santino1: Great you noticed, Duval pays more attention to the speed of her serve than the study the precision of where it lands. I believe if she had concentrated more of getting her first serve in especially on the Ad court which would have forced Kim to return to her kill spot and then hit the forehand winner flat and wide, I believe she she would have still be in the tournament. She's got real potential and that's why I said a lot of people is gonna be keeping an eye on her.

Laura is not doubt a talent, but you know like everything British (especially in sports), they "praise-sing" them before they are even made.....I honestly hope she doesn't end up another Murray...keeping my fingers crossed cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool

Really?? don't bet on that
Between Duval and Stephens, the future of American female tennis is looking promising. They should both get Richard to come and teach them that warrior spirit though, so that they both can be more aggressive in their play like the Williams. They really need to start being more aggressive, and with that aggression naturally comes more power, confidence and focus.

Also, I looked into the overall line up of the up and coming American female players, and a LARGE portion of the shining stars are Black-American girls. Stephens and Duval are just two of the oldest of the bunch. Upon the advent of the Williams sisters error, loads of young BA females have flooded the sport and are on the verge of taking over American female tennis. They are Americas answer to the virtual Eastern European onslaught of aggressive, athletic, power hitting girls in which have only Serena and Venus keeping them from total dominance of the sport for the women.
CultureRe: Why Are Nigerian Women So Underrated? by Blyss: 2:02am On Sep 06, 2012
KingMichael777: I kinda disagree a bit. Because on the northeast many AA's are mixed with Caribbeans(Jamaicans,Bajans, Haitian, etc). Caribbeans culture has influenced AA's on the northeast. But else where its kinda different. On the west coast/south some AA's never heard dance-hall music. Most of these AA Supremacist are not from the Northeast and that is why they are not understanding of Caribbean people. Just my 2 cents.

Lets not forget both AA's and Caribbeans helped influence hip hop.
Actually, if it is I and Kony, and any other popular past and present BA whom you are referring to as AA Supremacist, then you are wrong in your assumption as to where we're from. I've been on this site a pretty long time, longer than all the other current BA who now post on this site routinely, and currently and in the past... easily about 90% of us are/where from the North East of the nation.
CultureRe: Why Are Nigerian Women So Underrated? by Blyss: 11:57pm On Sep 05, 2012
BelaMorena: So you never had anything bad to say about Africans and Caribbeans? grin

Lie...I want you to.

Please do. grin
Sure I have. I've had bad things to say about most every group in the world, including BA. cheesy But what I want to know from you is, exactly how the fact that I've expressed some negative issues about various types of Africans, is an insinuation of that I'm not married to an Nigerian-American? I've known black dudes who hate whites with a passion, yet are married to white women, and I've known black women who were involved with white guys who don't really like blacks all that much. I don't hate Africans, though there are some common social issues with them in which I don't agree with, and I've expressed that here. My wife may be of direct African descent, though she is second generation and is VERY American, so she is in effect more of an Black-American than she is African.

Just make sure you keep it between you and him.
Don't listen to that confused child. She claims that there is beef, I prefer the word confrontation, between she and I simply because I've been intolerant of her anti Black-American crap she's been spewing around here ever since she joined this dump, same as Kony, but he's a bit more militant than I. If you keep up your speaking out against her antics, then you too will be considered as "having beef with her" and hating Africans. cheesy That's just how shallow of girl she is, as well as many others around here.

#poppyshow.
LOL, Confused and delusional much, as usual. grin Chicken, every Vet on here knows the fact of that I'm married to a Nigerian-American, and they all know she's of Igbo descent. cheesy That's like one of the most common things know about me on this and several other Nigerian sites I used to chat on. I find it rather funny that you still think Kony and I are the same person, despite the fact of that I've personally stated on several occations exactly who my other handles have been in the past (Hero, KB1, DaRapture)and now Blyss. cheesy I've never shown hatred toward any Africans, but I have shown plenty of discontent with many of their ways of thinking, actions and other things, same as they've shown toward BA... so I don't know how you've concluded that I must not be married to an Nigerian, because I supposedly hate Africans. huh

Santino1: Vicroria Duval,I love her glasses too...we'll be keeping an eye on her grin grin grin grin

I wish she goes farther than that...it's been long I've seen her win a major
She has serious potential; the only area she's really lacking is in her serve. She has a good ground game, with power.. but her serve is crap. It's what killed her against Clijsters. If she'd gotten more of those first serves in play and had put more power on them, she'd of beat Clijsters, which is in no way a small feat. Clijsters is very good. If Victoria is serious about going far in this sport, she absolutely has what it takes, but she needs to get out there on the practice courts and just practice her serving for at least 2 weeks strait out of every month and hit the gym to put some more muscle mass on her arms until she's pounding down 100 miles aces one after the other like the Williams. I've seen how she hits that ball, I know she has the natural power in her to swing to do it. I'm gonna keep an eye on this young lady for sure.

If she puts more practice into her serving, by Wimbledon, next year she could be rapidly scaling the rankings like the Williams did.

But I take pride in both sides evenly.
Wow! Now that's a mix in which I've never seen before. So You're East Indian Trini mixed with Black-American, correct? If so, then yeah, I've never seen that before, though I've seen quite a few East Indian American/Black American mixed folks before. Do you consider yourself to be a Dougla?

"Let me inform you there is NOTHING SPECIAL about being African American.

You bleed, shyt, piss and will die like everyone else.
There is no privilege, prize, or "special honor" in being called AA."

So there is nothing special about being jamaican or nigerian then. I said you were bitter in another thread and judging by your comments it looks to be true.

Then we have this, "It's who you are as person that matters" and later you say this, "I rep Jamo. Breathe Jamo and will DIE JAMO!". Its like you are in defense mode.
