PoliticsBlackouts In Ukraine - From Special operations to all out war? by bn365(op): 4:39pm On Sep 12, 2022
Ukrainian officials accused Russian forces of launching attacks on civilian infrastructure, including a thermal power station in Kharkiv, that the authorities in Kyiv said caused widespread blackouts.
Zelenskiy said late on Sunday that Russian attacks caused a total blackout in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, and partial blackouts in the Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions.
"No military facilities, the goal is to deprive people of light & heat," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy wrote on Twitter of the attacks.

Foreign AffairsSwiss May Face Up To 3 Years In Prison For Violating Heating Rules by bn365(op):
People in Switzerland who violate the country’s new heating rules which forbid setting the temperature above 19°C (66.2F) in the colder months will face up to three years in prison.
Utility companies and larger businesses would face even more severe penalties for breaking the energy rationing rules.

Despite the brazenly authoritarian restrictions, Economy Minister Guy Parmelin asserted, “We are not a police state,” although he acknowledged police would perform “spot checks” to try to catch violators.
Under the new rules, buildings that use gas heating systems are restricted to 19°C, while hot water can only be heated up to 60°C and radiant heaters are banned entirely.

It will also be forbidden to heat swimming polls and saunas.

Depending on the severity of the violation and the individual’s economic situation, fines will range from 30 to 3,000 Swiss francs ($30 to $3,050), while people could also be imprisoned for up to three years.

Swiss, who will overheat their homes to over 19 degrees Celsius (66.2 degrees Fahrenheit) this winter in violation of government directives in the event of gas shortages, will face fines and prison sentence of up to three years, Swiss economic department spokesman Markus Sporndli told the Blick newspaper on Tuesday.

"Violations of the country's law on supplies always constitute offenses or even crimes and should be prosecuted by cantons by default," Sporndli was quoted as saying by the media outlet.

In the event of an intentional violation of the principles, citizens may face a sentence of up to three years in prison, according to the newspaper. Even a negligent violation of these measures will be punishable by a fine, Blick reported.

In late August, the Swiss authorities said that in the event of gas shortages the temperature in rooms heated with gas must not exceed 19 degrees Celsius, according to a draft decree. Moreover, water can only be warmed up to 60 degrees Celsius, while the use of heaters or hot air tents will be prohibited. Saunas and pools must be also turned off.

PoliticsVaccine Makers Created ''anti-fertility Vaccines'' On Behalf Of The WHO by bn365(op): 2:10pm On Sep 11, 2022
The testing of contraceptive vaccines in developing countries is part of how rich nations have tried to act on the problem—real or not—of overpopulation.

In 2013, the WHO with the support of the Kenyan government began a vaccination campaign against neonatal tetanus aimed at Kenyan women of childbearing age. Neonatal tetanus is no joke: it is caused by a neurotoxin secreted by a bacterium that festers in a newly-born baby’s umbilical stump, typically because of the use of unsterile instruments or dressings when cutting the umbilical cord, and it used to cause half of all newborn deaths in many developing countries before immunization became widespread.
The tetanus vaccine being used in Kenya was actually the experimental birth control vaccine that famously linked part of the hCG hormone with the tetanus toxoid.

The vaccine was being offered to women who were not pregnant.
One of the first steps in pregnancy is the release of a hormone called hCG. It drives the production of another hormone, progesterone, which maintains the pregnancy. To prevent pregnancy, scientists wanted to see if they could direct the immune system to attack hCG, the way in which antibodies can attack a virus. And they managed to do this by linking part of the hCG hormone to the inactivated toxin associated with tetanus, its so-called toxoid. The immune system recognizes the toxoid as bad, and hCG gets included in the mug shot.

For this method to be effective, regular booster shots would be required.

PoliticsMedvedev - Fate Of The UN May Ultimately Resemble That Of The League Of Nations by bn365(op): 12:01pm On Sep 10, 2022
The fate of the United Nations could end up like that of its predecessor, the League of Nations, if the powers of the permanent members of the UN Security Council get "breached," Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev warned.
Medvedev referred to a recent initiative by the Americans who proposed some "compromises in reform" at the UN Security Council and moves to reconsider the status quo.

"Compromises differ. If this one implies an attempt by the US driven by its zoological anti-Russian frenzy to breach the powers of UNSC permanent members, well, they’ll make themselves sick gulping down dust.

Otherwise, the United Nations would suffer the fate of the League of Nations that went bust," Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel on Friday.

The League of Nations (1920-1946) was the first global organization designed to ensure peace and cooperation between nations. Despite certain achievements, the League failed to fulfil collective security tasks. The UN succeeded the organization after World War II.
Foreign AffairsThe Globalist - WEF King Charles Assumes The Throne by bn365(op): 3:37pm On Sep 09, 2022
Charles was and is one of those people who fly in private jets to climate conferences to warn the world in alarmist rhetoric about climate catastrophe and to promote the depopulation agenda, which is of interest not for climate reasons, but simply because a "Fourth Industrial Revolution" will render a sizable percentage of the population simply useless. Very few will be able to hold their own in a high-tech world, learn skills that are needed, or even identify with it. The approach of the elite here is not to enable these people to live a fulfilled life in any other form they choose, no, these people must simply disappear. The useless class, made superfluous by robots and AI, no longer has a place in shareholder communism. And that is what the new English King openly stands for.

Last year, during the COP26 Climate Change Summit, Charles in a general-like tone demanded (and yes, he demanded, not asked or raised concern) that 'war-like footing' was necessary to eliminate fossil fuels and move to renewables. Charles' advocacy for the destructive Paris Climate Accords and the UN's Climate Change Conference objectives have brought Britain to the brink of an energy debacle. But, of course, a king cares precious little about that. He will neither sit in the dark, nor freeze, nor starve in winter.

And King Charles not only shares the ideas of the Davos think tank; he is also a welcome and enthusiastic guest at the annual WEF extravaganza and a cornucopia of wonderful globalist garbage ideas that the WEF catalyzes and makes socially acceptable so that the population thinks they have their best interests at heart.

For example, he has been actively involved in the Great Reset idea to "overcome the climate crisis and restore the natural world." In a podcast with WEF founder Klaus Schwab, he openly advocated "carbon-pricing" for goods and the "Net-Zero" agenda. He is also a big proponent of the ESG agenda, which is nothing more than cartelizing industries to create financial monopolies in the name of the environment.

None of Charles' remarkable ideas would stop the British Royal Family in the least from continuing to live as they do now. The family that uses German Air Force planes to take a completely unnecessary trip to Düsseldorf at the expense of the German taxpayer. The family whose depraved offspring have 18 times the CO2 emissions of a normal Brit for just a single transatlantic flight—pleasure they will gladly take from you in the near future.

PoliticsThe Netherlands’ Agricultural Min. Henk Staghouwer Forced To Resign By Farmers by bn365(op): 3:22pm On Sep 09, 2022
The Netherlands’ agricultural minister Henk Staghouwer has been forced to resign following widespread protests from Dutch farmers over his radical climate agenda that seeks to destroy their livelihoods.

Staghouwer was leading the Dutch agriculture ministry’s climate policy that involved confiscating farms in a forced government buy-out scheme.

In the wake of the huge protests from farmers, Staghouwer has now been forced to step down.

He told the Dutch cabinet that pushback from farmers had meant he would not be able to meet a September deadline for rolling out the government’s radical green policy, the AP reported.

The climate agenda involves cutting nitrogen emissions from the nation’s farming sector to the point where it made it impossible for farms to continue operating.

The initiative includes a $24.2 billion scheme to buy out local farmers and facilitate the transition away from intensive farming practices.

The push provoked mass demonstrations by farmers across the continent.

“Farmers and fishermen need certainty,” Staghouwer said in a statement to his ministry Monday evening, NL Times reported.

The farming sector faced a massive upheaval due to emissions reduction goals, he added.
PoliticsDeceiving West, Detached Elites: Highlights Of Putin’s Speech At EEF by bn365(op): 6:00am On Sep 09, 2022
Deceiving West, Detached Elites: Highlights of Putin’s Speech at Eastern Economic Forum

The Russian president accused Western leaders of hurting their own people through rank corruption and gross incompetence.

Among other things, he commented on the unfolding crisis in the global economy, which he attributed to the shortsightedness of Western elites. According to Putin, they are trying to cling to global power while it slips from their hands.

Here are some of the key points Putin made in his address…

Western dominance is dwindling

The world is facing serious economic challenges, and unlike the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the current turmoil is the result of conscious decisions made by Western nations, Putin said. The West caught “sanctions fever” as it sought to impose its will on other nations.

According to the president, though this is nothing new, the current situation is marked by special circumstances – the US is losing its dominance in the global economy and politics, a “tectonic shift” that Western elites are not willing to acknowledge.

Elites are ‘lashing out’

“Western nations want to preserve the old world order, which benefits only them, to make everyone follow the ‘rules’ they invented themselves and which they regularly break or change to their benefit,” Putin said.

Resistance from other nations “makes Western elites to ‘lash out’ and take shortsighted cavalier decisions affecting world security, politics, and economics” he added.

Western leaders are ‘detached’ from their people

The policies adopted by the leaders of the US and its allies run counter to the public’s interests, which they are supposed to protect – this shows the Western elites are “detached from their own people,” according to Putin.

EU governments are a good example – they decided to decouple their economies from Russia, denying their businesses affordable energy and access to the Russian market, which makes them unable to compete, he said.

Putin predicted that American companies would lead the charge to capture the market shares of businesses based in the EU as a result. “When [the Americans] pursue their interests, they don’t limit themselves or shy away from anything.”

The West deceives poor nations

The global economic crisis will hurt vulnerable nations worst of all, according to the president – for many people, it’s a life-and-death situation, as impoverished countries will have no ability to buy crucial products.

Meanwhile, Western nations pretend they want to help while only doing what is in their own interests, as exemplified by the Ukraine grain export deal, according to Putin. Russia agreed to help ships loaded with grain to leave Ukrainian ports under an arrangement mediated by Turkey and the UN in July. However, most of the ships have gone to EU nations rather than struggling countries, the president said.

SEE ALSO: West deceived poor nations with Ukraine grain deal – Putin

“Just two ships out of 87 were loaded [in Ukraine] under the UN Food Program, which works to provide assistance to needy countries… just 3% that were sent to developing nations.”

According to Putin, Western nations have decades and even centuries of experience in plundering colonies, and are using the same approach today. In order to prevent humanitarian disasters, Russia suggests limiting the destinations for Ukrainian grain to change the situation.

Russia is weathering the sanctions

Russia is dealing with the damage caused by the West’s “economic, financial and technological aggression” relatively well, Putin said. He noted that the country’s financial system had been stabilized, inflation is going down, and unemployment is at record lows.

Some companies were indeed hurt, especially those whose business depended on Europe in some way, he said. The Russian government has mechanisms in place to support them.

Asian nations want cooperation

Most of the nations in the Asia-Pacific Region (APAC) reject “the destructive logic of sanctions” and seek to foster business ties and economic growth for the benefit of their people, Putin said. Russia appreciates players that share its attitude to national sovereignty. The abundance of countries like this in APAC is “its great competitive advantage” and a source of long-term development.

Russia did not start the conflict in Ukraine

When asked by the host for comments on how the crisis in Ukraine has affected Russia, he reiterated Moscow’s position that the conflict was forced upon it.

“We did not start anything in terms of military action. We are trying to end it. Military action was started in 2014, following an armed coup in Ukraine by those who did not want normal development and sought to subjugate their own people, carrying out one military action after another, and subjecting Donbass citizens to genocide for eight years.”

Russia decided to use military force eight years later. Doing so was a moral obligation to the people of Donbass, who Moscow could not protect through peaceful means, Putin said. In the end, Russia will emerge from the conflict stronger domestically and internationally, he added.
PoliticsQueen Elizabeth II, Britain's Longest Serving Monarch, Dies At 96 by bn365(op): 6:52pm On Sep 08, 2022
Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s longest serving monarch, has died

Queen Elizabeth II, whose 70-year reign spanned wars, a pandemic, 14 presidents and the winding down of Britain’s vast empire, has died. Her eldest son, Charles, is now king.

“The queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon,” the royal family said in a statement. “The king and the queen consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”

The longest-serving British monarch was 96.

Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor is also survived by her other children, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, and their spouses. Prince William, next in line to the throne, and Prince Harry are among her eight grandchildren. She has a dozen great-grandchildren.

What next?

Well Charles, a member of the WEF, is far less popular than his mother, with a public persona seen by many as divisive.
Unlike the queen, whose popularity is based on her discreteness and impartiality, Charles has been caught up in a number of political controversies, such as writing letters to government ministers in an attempt to influence policy — verboten now he has become the country’s politically powerless constitutional monarch.

The future of the Commonwealth is also in doubt. This group of 56 member states is seen as a voluntary successor to the British empire, but recently there have been calls among its Caribbean members for Britain to pay reparations because of the crown’s historical links with the slave trade. Last year, Barbados ditched the British monarch of its head of state, and others, including Jamaica and even Australia have signaled they may one day follow.
PoliticsUrsula Von Der Leyen - "Flatten The Energy Use Curve" by bn365(op): 5:15pm On Sep 08, 2022
A familiar phrase '15 days[2 weeks] to flatten the curve' has been rebooted for the crisis du jour when European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that the EU would be mandating reduced electricity usage by citizens governed by unelected political elite bureaucrats, telling her subjects that it would be necessary to “flatten the curve” to reduce demands during peak usage periods.

“So what we have to do is flatten the curve and avoid the peak demands,” she said. “We will propose a mandatory target for reducing electricity use at peak hours. And we will work very closely with the member states to achieve this.”

Europe and especially Germany, where frau von der Leyen hails from, is gripped in a worsening energy crisis, the result of the perfect storm of the ongoing war in Ukraine and short-sighted clean energy policies, and since it worked so well during the early days of the COVID pandemic, the slogan has been repurposed for the next round of government oppression.

To call her use of the “flatten the curve” – which as recent history has shown, was the initially reasonable explanation for a brief lockdown that was then extended by authoritarian politicians who saw a golden opportunity to imbue themselves with unprecedented new powers – was controversial would be a huge understatement and Twitter exploded with reactions, the vast majority of them negative.

Foreign AffairsMilitary Conscripting Of Ukrainian Women To Begin From October 1, 2022 by bn365(op): 3:14pm On Sep 05, 2022
By the way, military registration of women in certain specialties and professions is voluntary until October 1 and mandatory after the end of this transitional period.

Women on military registration can be called up for military service at any time, but at the moment there is no need to mobilize women
(except for representatives of the most scarce military professions).
Women aged 18 to 60 who have no contraindications due to their health and have a specialty or profession related to the relevant military accounting specialty will be subject to registration (for a complete list of specialties and professions, see the Order of the Ministry of Defense).

A woman who registers for the military will be considered conscripted and will be subject to the same rights and obligations as conscripted men. The status of conscript will involve being in the reserves of the armed forces, national guard, or other military formations.

In this regard, many women who are subject to military registration are concerned about the limitations imposed on them by the status of a conscript, in addition to the possibility of being enrolled into military service. The most hotly discussed issue is the departure of conscripted women outside of Ukraine.

According to the law "On military duty and military service", the relevant categories of women are obliged:

- not to change the place of actual residence (stay) from the moment of the announcement of mobilization,

- and in wartime, not to leave the place of residence without the permission of the head of the territorial center of recruitment and social support of the district (city) territorial center of recruitment and social support, the relevant heads of the SSU or the Foreign Intelligence Service;

This means that permission for women to go abroad is issued by the heads of recruitment centers in accordance with the law. In particular, such permission to leave may be granted to conscripts who are not subject to conscription for military service during mobilization for a period of up to one year, provided there are supporting documents. The full list of categories of persons who will be able to obtain such a permit is defined in Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "On Mobilization Training and Mobilization". For example, if a woman independently raises a child up to 18 years of age or has a child with a disability, etc., then according to Article 23, she must be allowed to cross the border of Ukraine.

Earlier the Ukrainian media circulated the alleged words of adviser of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Viktor Andrusiv to a sanctioned publication that there would be no ban on women leaving Ukraine. However, in addition to the dubiousness of the source of such information, the adviser does not clarify whether he means all women or only women on military record. Considering the above, it is logical to assume that women who are not on military record were meant. But the law clearly states about conscript women and the ban on them leaving.

PoliticsBorrell: "EU Countries Are Tired Of Anti-russian Sanctions"...but! by bn365(op): 1:30pm On Sep 05, 2022
In early July, the European Commission warned the population of Europe about the impending riots .

The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that a number of EU countries have already begun to get tired of anti-Russian sanctions, but the EU will have to adhere to the current political course and minimize dependence on Russia.

“Russia cannot be allowed to exploit the sanctions fatigue that some of our countries are experiencing. This test of strength will continue. We must speak to our citizens and explain what our responsibility looks like in the current crisis, and also emphasize the importance of efforts to eliminate our strategic energy dependence on Russia".

By November, the governments of the EU countries should give guarantees to people that this winter they will live in heated houses. The department added that otherwise "society will be on the brink due to high energy prices, inflation, rising food costs and uncertainty" due to the conflict in Ukraine.

At the same time, the Europeans have already begun to go to rallies, demanding that their authorities stop the sanctions policy against Moscow. So, in Prague, at least hundreds of thousands of dissatisfied citizens staged a rally at which they announced the need to stop supporting the Kyiv regime and anti-Russian sanctions. The townspeople demanded that the government conclude a contract with Russia for gas supplies and put the Nord Stream 2 pipeline into operation.
PoliticsChina Oppose Ceiling On Russian Oil "Oil Is Essential To Global Energy Security" by bn365(op): 10:24am On Sep 05, 2022
The PRC opposes the introduction of a "ceiling" on oil prices from Russia, which was announced by the G7 member countries, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said, expressing the hope that the group will change its position on this issue .

"Oil is essential to global energy security."
Mao Ning believes that the G7 should reconsider this issue and take a constructive decision, and not vice versa.

Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak spoke about the fact that China (like India) would not agree to European sanctions on Russian oil. It should be noted that both countries are one of the largest consumers of energy resources from the Russian Federation.

On September 2, the finance ministers of the G7 states reached an agreement on the introduction of a "ceiling" on oil prices from Russia. In their opinion, in this way the West will limit Moscow's ability to finance the military operation through the export of resources. The G7 leaders are also developing a "special easing mechanism" under which the most vulnerable countries will be allowed to purchase fuel at prices set by Russia.

Experts have repeatedly spoken about the impending crisis in Europe due to sanctions against Russia. As political scientist Maria Voropaeva noted, the deterioration of the situation in the economy always results in an increase in the discontent of citizens. The Europeans, having felt the opposite "effect" of the sanctions, are not going to put up with the deterioration of their well-being.

Foreign AffairsBoris Johnson SABOTAGED Russia/ukraine Peace Deal In April! by bn365(op): 4:44am On Sep 04, 2022
There's mounting evidence that the war in Ukraine could have been over by this point, but key Western backers of Kiev sought to sabotage the potential for peaceful settlement through negotiations. That's precisely what regional Ukrainian media reports concluded as early as May, soon after the UK's Boris Johnson showed up in the capital on a "surprise" visit to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky for the first time the month prior

According Ukrainska Pravda sources close to Zelenskyy, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, who appeared in the capital almost without warning, brought two simple messages. The first is that Putin is a war criminal, he should be pressured, not negotiated with.

And the second is that even if Ukraine is ready to sign some agreements on guarantees with Putin, they [the UK and US] are not. Johnson’s position was that the collective West, which back in February had suggested Zelenskyy should surrender and flee, now felt that Putin was not really as powerful as they had previously imagined, and that here was a chance to "press him."

The Ukrainian media English-language report went on to emphasize that Three days after Johnson left for Britain, Putin went public and said talks with Ukraine "had turned into a dead end".

At the time the Istanbul peace talks, which saw top officials from each warring side gather in the Turkish capital, was hailed in some corners as "the quickest way to end the war in Ukraine" - according to Recep Tayyip Erdogan's words, who was seeking to mediate between Moscow and Kiev.

But as the invasion ordered by Putin pressed on, Britain especially was the earliest out front in making large weapons and munitions deliveries to Ukraine via military transport planes a high priority. UK press reports also took note of the 'convenient' timing of London going all-in hawkish on Ukraine given Prime Minister Johnson's enduring 'Partygate Scandal' at home.

Again, recall the tone of Ukrainian media following the arrival of the British prime minister in Kiev (and it should be noted Johnson was the first leader of a G7 country to visit, coming two weeks after Russian forces withdrew from suburbs around Kiev) on April 9:

Following the arrival of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Kyiv, a possible meeting between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin has become less likely.

Now, this week there's been yet more bombshell smoking gun confirmation to emerge on the role of powerful Western countries in thwarting the potential for ceasefire between Russian and Ukrainian forces...

Former official at the US National Security Council Fiona Hill has co-authored a lengthy essay recounting key moments in Russia's war and Western efforts to aid Ukraine thus far.

She let slip the following key confirmation in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR)-run Foreign Affairs journal:

According to multiple former senior U.S. officials we spoke with, in April 2022, Russian and Ukrainian negotiators appeared to have tentatively agreed on the outlines of a negotiated interim settlement: Russia would withdraw to its position on February 23, when it controlled part of the Donbas region and all of Crimea, and in exchange, Ukraine would promise not to seek NATO membership and instead receive security guarantees from a number of countries. But as Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated in a July interview with his country’s state media, this compromise is no longer an option.

This disclosure and confirmation from the US side - that there was a tentative agreement on the table for Russia-Ukraine peace is a huge revelation, again which will likely go largely missing from popular mainstream media coverage.

Russia won't immediately resume exports of natural gas to Europe through its Nord Stream 1 pipeline, worsening a shortage that threatens to tip the continent into an energy crisis this winter.

On Friday, Russian state energy giant Gazprom said it would not resume flows through the pipeline on Saturday as planned because it had detected an oil leak at its Portovaya compressor station. The pipeline has been shut since Wednesday for maintenance.
It didn't give a timeline of when exports might resume.
"Until the issues on the operation of the equipment are resolved, gas supplies to the Nord Stream gas pipeline have been completely stopped," Gazprom said in a statement.
The Nord Stream 1 pipeline is a key artery carrying Russia's vast gas supplies to Europe, accounting for about 35% of Europe's total Russian gas imports last year.
It flows directly to Germany, the bloc's biggest economy, which is particularly reliant on Moscow's gas to power its homes and heavy industry.

Ukraine has a new mobile weapon in its war against Russia: fake wooden missile systems. The military is fielding a large array of cheaply made stand-ins for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System in an attempt to get Russia to waste cruise missiles.

Each Kalibr missile costs about $1.2 million. In other words, Ukrainian decoys have not only drawn attention from the real HIMARS, they’ve also forced Russia to waste about $12 million in cruise missiles that take months to build.

Ukraine has built a number of fake HIMARS truck-launched rocket systems.
Built from wood, the fakes have cost the Russian military millions in wasted missiles.
The deception operation is working so well that Russia claims to have destroyed more HIMARS than the U.S. government has even sent to Ukraine.
Fake HIMARS targets have drawn the attention of at least ten Kalibr land-attack cruise missiles. 3M-14 Kalibr missiles, similar to the American Tomahawk cruise missile, are subsonic, precision-guided cruise missiles with a range of 932 to 1553 miles and a 1,000-pound high-explosive warhead. Kalibrs are launched from Russian submarines and surface ships in the Black Sea and likely fast missile boats in the Caspian Sea.

CBS News deletes tweet claiming only 'like 30%' of US military aid for Ukraine ever reaches the front lines

Republican lawmakers explained how they felt vindicated by the revelation, having previously opposed a $40 billion Ukraine aid package.

“This [is] one of the reasons I voted ‘no,’” US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) tweeted in response to the CBS report.

“Flooding a country with advanced weapons can have grave consequences, even when done with the best of intentions,” CBS’s description of the documentary read. “This CBS Reports documentary goes inside Ukraine to get a firsthand look at how military aid gets from the border to frontline soldiers, and explores the difficulties of getting the aid to the fighters who need it.”

Foreign AffairsNotice The Flag, Virtue Signaling, And The Question From The Coffee Shop Owner by bn365(op):
Notice the Ukraine flag, the virtue signaling, and the question from the coffee shop owner!
Cognitive dissonance typical to those who support the West, sanctions and Zelensky?
Furthermore, this experiment in gauging people's willingness to pay for high electricity bills only works with the same crowd that supports the West on issues such as covid/vax mandates, etc.
Just in case, there are no oil or gas shortages! To spite their own faces, they chose to cut their own noses.

PoliticsThe Current Energy Crisis Is An Experiment On Humanity by bn365(op): 9:05am On Aug 31, 2022
The current energy crisis can be called an amazing experiment on humanity, since now it is possible to trace who and how much people will be willing to pay for heat in certain conditions, German Klimenko, head of the board of the Digital Economy Development Fund, said on Sputnik radio.
“Now we are witnessing an absolutely amazing experiment on humanity: how much is a person is really willing to pay for heat in market conditions? We have changed so much in the economic sense in just 40-50 years that we have forgotten about those times when a bundle of firewood was great value."
Prices for heating have always been high, the expert noted, but over time, "everything around has fallen in price." Now the oil industry has taken carte blanche, and therefore the pricing in the market has introduced the whole world into a new state. 40 years ago, the population of Europe paid at least a quarter of their income for heating, and now it suddenly turned out that the gas and oil market is the same as the diamond market, where everything is tightly controlled, Klimenko noted.

Britain has already called the coming increase in the crisis with electricity prices "Armageddon". The most vulnerable to the crisis are the unsecured segments of the population. Over 30% of households experience problems with paying utility bills, and by January 2023, their share may increase to 50%. Moreover, 23% of Britons are ready to completely abandon heating in the coming winter to save money.

In Poland, they were afraid of food shortages due to the cessation of production of nitrogen fertilizers, which will hit farmers.
