ABC News explained why a "Red Mirage" will occur in the midterm election on Tuesday Election Day.

ABC News revealed which states the Democrats are going to steal with post-Election Day ballot counting.
"[The Red Mirage is] likely to occur in some of the same states where the phenomenon presented itself last cycle -- in states like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin -- battleground states that also happen to feature some of the most hotly contested races of the election season."

As early Election Day results come in on Tuesday, it will likely appear that a Republican candidates vying for any number of the federal or statewide races appear to be leading their Democratic opponents, even by large margins.

This phenomenon was popularized as the “red mirage” or the “blue shift” after the 2020 presidential election, when former President Donald Trump took a deceptive lead in several competitive states on Election Day due to delays in counting of Democrats’ mail-in ballots — their preferred method of voting due to the COVID-19 pandemic — only to eventually dissipate when the entire reserve of votes was totaled.

Internet kids who have no knowledge of geopolitics always talk shit all the time. The Horn of Africa is a vital route for trading between the West and China as well as the rest of Asia. Piracy at the horn of Africa is a serious issue that can cripple those powerful economies and put their citizens in danger. As a result, many trading countries entered an agreement with Djibouti to host Naval and air bases in the country.

Not only the US, there is a Chinese base, an Italian base, a French base and a Japanese base. They are there to provide quick response for their countries flagged merchant ships or interests under attack because these countries carry out majority of world trade and shipping.

US President Joe Biden said an alternative to tough sanctions that Washington has slapped on Russia would be the Third World War.

"You have two options. Start a Third World War, go to war with Russia, physically. Or two, make sure that the country that acts so contrary to international law ends up paying a price for having done it," Biden said in an interview with blogger Brian Tyler Cohen. The video was posted on his YouTube page on Saturday.

The US president noted that no sanctions are immediate. "But I think these sanctions, I know these sanctions are the broadest sanctions in history, and economic sanctions and political sanctions," Biden said.

"Russia will pay a serious price for this short term and long term, particularly long term," the US leader stressed.

Britain's Royal Navy played a part in orchestrating and staging the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Saturday, the media reported.

The accusation follows the Russian Foreign Ministry's claim that NATO conducted a military exercise during the summer, close to the location where the undersea explosions occurred, RT reported.

Writing on its official Telegram channel, the ministry alleged that Royal Navy operatives "took part in planning, supporting and implementing" a "terrorist attack" to blow up the gas pipelines on September 26.

According to the Defence Ministry, the same British operatives were involved in the training of Ukrainian military personnel who recently attacked ships of Russia's Black Sea fleet, which were implementing a grain deal between Russia and Ukraine, brokered by the UN and Turkey, RT reported.

South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa on Thursday regretted as "unfortunate" the US embassy's issuing of a warning of a possible weekend "terrorist" attack in the country without consulting his government.

The US embassy on Wednesday posted the alert on its website and identified the potential target as Sandton, a suburb in the country's financial hub of Johannesburg.

"It is quite unfortunate the US issued that type of warning without having any type of discussion with us," he said during a press conference.
"Any form of alert will come from the government of the republic of South Africa and it is unfortunate that another government should issue such a threat as to send panic amongst our people," said Ramaphosa.

He said Pretoria is "working around the clock to verify and to look very closely at this message that came from the United States".
The US embassy on Sunday also issued a security alert in Nigeria, urging US citizens to limit their movements due to an "elevated risk of terror attacks in Nigeria, specifically in Abuja".

According to Dmitry Medvedev, Ukrainians have been paying with their lives for the endless supply of US weapons and for the services of instructors and mercenaries. Ukrainians could be the price of using a ‘dirty bomb’ as well, he added.

Ukrainian lives have been a bargaining chip in Washington’s great game, while the Russians who were killed in the conflict would be avenged either in combat or "in any other way," Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev warned on Thursday.
"Therefore, this is a battle until the bitter end. Or, to be exact, until the end - the end of Ukraine. The winner takes it all," Medvedev concluded.

"There is only one currency for both the incumbent Biden team and their Republican opponents which is the lives of citizens of the mythical country of Ukraine that they do not need. They are a bargaining chip in America’s great game, and they are easily laid upon the altar for a future political triumph overseas," Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.

However, Russians have been suffering in this conflict, too, he emphasized. "The only difference is that our people will be avenged. Every one of them. Both in combat and elsewhere, far from the battlefields. And certainly not as part of ineffective court trials, but by some other means," Medvedev assured, "while nobody will remember Ukrainians," the deputy chairman lamented.
