However, the report claims that EA has chosen 2K to make the next FIFA, and it is unclear if the work has been under development already.

This would make sense if FIFA were seriously targeting for the FIFA 25 title to come out.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino had said last year that news about licensed games would arrive soon, and that FIFA 25 will be the first title to compete with EA’s FC titles.
