APC had rally in Owerri and some people scattered it and some are rejoicing with the violence and disruption witnessed there. But if ADC has a rally in Benin or Akure and it was scattered with violence same people who rejoice at what happened in Owerri will come out and say Tinubu is not a Democrat and doesn't want opposition to be heard. Why do some condone and rejoice with violence in Owerri and yet condemn violence elsewhere that the opposition party was caught up. Hypocritical! |
Lekki Port, a state government led initiative, where they invited Chinese investors to build and operate the port is now Nigeria number one port. Beating Apapa and Tin Can island and Onne Port. Tomorrow some Zombies will blame the federal government for not building them a port. Akwa Ibom has been shouting Ibom port for 20yrs now yet nothing serious is happening there. |
So instead of begging Jesus for grace to over come they are going round boasting that he can even win Jesus in any free election. Anyway, let him go ahead and win Jesus as said. I have nothing to say. |
If she was a Muslim and said someone will defeat Muhammed by now she'll be resting in peace. Imagine a Christian coming out to say Obi will beat his maker in a free and fair election and she's still walking the streets free. That lady should repent immediately and ask God for forgiveness for ridicling his name publicly. What a shame. What kind of madness is this. |
Ok Daddy. Thank you. This is Noted. |
Is that so? Una go explain taya! The former demi god has now spent two nights in EFCC cell, with DSS still waiting for him at the gates for their own piece of fun. |
Tinubu never mentioned yahoo Boys. The word yahoo never came out of his mouth in that speech. People under the bridge he may be referring to are homeless people. Yahoo boys don't live under the bridge. They lodge in hotels with their laptops. Obi sympathises with yahoo boys because most are his tribal people. Very shameful. |
Why should Tinubu do the apology when Gowon is still alive. He Gowon should first admit what happened and apologise because he was head of state then and commander in chief. It's after then that Tinubu can now come in on behalf of the present federal government. If truly it was a serious massacre Gowon should be held accountable and Murtala Muhammed Int Airport should be renamed. |
He is so bitter that he was dinied a 3rd term. Shame on him. After ruling once as a military dictator and two terms as a civilian president, he still wanted what I will call a 4th term. Shame on him! |
So because of voters registration this dude visited a church. He didn't go to worship, reverence God, or repent, but to preach a political message that's biting him hard. It's an insult on Christianity. A man who is happy to see churches burnt and openly celebrated Muslim Muslim ticket is now going to church just to campaign because he has lost out. Mallam Rufai, the Bible tells us that a Leopard cannot change it's spots and that an Ethiopian cannot change his colour. Go to the mosques and do your political campaign. A church is meant for worship and praising God. |
Same people who saw you're the worst are now saying you're the best. We all know them People who produce nothing but always think they're born to rule. |
Eko Atlantic City again. Don't we think its time we decongest Lagos as a whole. The pile up of industries and data centers is getting too much. |
Airtel plans 38MW data centre in Eko Atlantic Airtel Nigeria said on Tuesday it will build a 38MW hyperscale data centre in Lagos, billed as the country’s largest, to meet surging demand for cloud and AI services. The facility will be located in Eko Atlantic City, one of West Africa’s costliest destinations, developed on reclaimed land from the Atlantic Ocean. The area has drawn a growing number of corporate tenants, including First Bank of Nigeria, Dangote Group and MTN Nigeria, which is relocating its national headquarters there. The facility is designed to cater to hyperscale cloud providers, large enterprises and small businesses. The operator with over 50 million subscribers did not disclose the investment value or completion timeline but said serious development will begin next year. “The moment we launch the data centre, we will run it at scale. It’s a massive investment,” Chief Executive Officer of Airtel Nigeria, Dinesh Balsingh, said during a media session in Lagos. “Data centres are not just for cloud; they are foundational to AI. We’re preparing Nigeria for what’s next”, he added. The new project forms part of Airtel Africa’s broader infrastructure strategy across key markets. It also adds to a growing wave of digital infrastructure investments in Nigeria, which has attracted global players such as Equinix via its acquisition of MainOne, as well as Africa Data Centres, Rack Centre, Kasi Cloud, and MTN. The Director of Airtel Business at Airtel Nigeria, Ogo Ofomata, said the choice of Eko Atlantic was strategic. “We are building it there for its security and access to reliable power. It’s not just for flex; it’s about long-term infrastructure at scale”, she said. The executive said the facility is being engineered to deliver an IT load of 38 megawatts, with support for high-performance server racks of up to 6 kilowatts. The design will accommodate next-generation compute workloads, including GPU-powered infrastructure essential for artificial intelligence applications. “We’re building for high-performance workloads. The centre will be hyperscale-ready but also tailored to meet the needs of SMEs and local businesses”, she said. Nigeria’s data centre market is expanding rapidly, with total capacity expected to rise from about 136.7 megawatts in 2025 to 279.4 megawatts by 2030, according to industry estimates. Analysts project the sector’s value will reach $671m by the end of the decade, positioning Nigeria as the second-largest data centre market in Africa after South Africa. https://punchng.com/airtel-plans-38mw-data-centre-in-eko-atlantic/ |
The truth is that only 4 Nigerian Airports are viable and make profit . The profit they make is spread and used to sustain the other 20 -30 Airports. 70% of people use Lagos Airport and the truth is that profit from Lagos Airport alone is used to sustain more than half of all other Airports. So tell me why it should not be well funded. If you keep sucking it dry without major renovation then we all are in problem. This is the first major renovation in almost 40 years so why should any dumb head complain. That Airport must be well funded, modernized and totally remodelled . North brings only 10% of our GDP yet they take more than half of the sharings and yet they complain. |
That Airport is an eyesore and should be fixed immediately. Buhari just built a smaller terminal but neglected the bigger old terminal, neglected the control tower, inner roads, equipments etc. We are busy claiming the giant of Africa yet our main international Airport that handles 70% of our international flights is in pitiable position. The respect people have for a place or country starts from the Airport exporience. |
ADC.... Atiku Dem Camp. Una go dey weep now. Peter Obi, the earlier you leave Atiku Dem Camp the better for you. |
No wonder he never supported Osinbajo or Amaechi during the APC primaries that Tinubu won. He exposed his cabinet members and refused to endorse any of them to succeed him. |
Banning speeches and serving of Jellof rice by politicians in church is a move targeted at one man. |
Yes oo, one of them used N300m to cut Aso Rock lawn while the other spent 8 yrs as minister of interior yet we spent 6 months to process ordinary passport throughout his tenure. Nothing achieved. |
The same powerless wolves that deceived Sim into rejecting the last peace accord after signing it are back again. People who have nothing at stake are crying more than the bereaved. Now there's a state of emergency they can't even stage a major protest. But they'll prefer to push him into a battle and then hide themselves. Sim, there is nothing like humiliation here. It's either you resign and keep your respect or get back to your job and finish your tenure. Then buy a reelection form yourself, campaign with your own money and see how it goes. |
Sincerely speaking Ibiyieome needs to get born again. He does not really know the Jesus he claims to be talking about. He in this for money and fame. Period! |
RepoMan007:He didn't succumb to any voice of men or people disturbing him. He stayed to the end until Oyedepo himself told him to retire as he is now too old to be Winners Pastor. He would have still remained in Winners now had Oyedepo not pushed him out on age basis. He is a faithful servant and will surely see grace in this endeavor. Amen. |
A certain money monger called IBIYIEOME keeps boasting of a certain time he gave $1m to the church. He donated to his own church and as the Pastor in Charge, he withdrew it the next day and ate it. He then expects you to be encouraged by his testimony and do the same so that he will also withdraw it the next day and eat it. These are Scammers who interpret the Bible upside down! |
Why Lagos? Is Abuja not our capital? Why can't the government force these big financial dictators to move to Abuja the capital. These mega companies are the ones creating confusion by making only one city the pillar of our economy. A city that hosts 95% of all registered financial and tech companies in Nigeria is a threat our unity. What happened to even Warri, PH or Kano or even Enugu. |
To me this a good enough treaty to guarantee peace. To the Governor... he is to pay the assembly men and present budget to them. To the assembly men...withdraw all threats of impeachment of the governor immediately and let me do his work. Then all court cases should be withdrawn. They both started the implementation well as Fubara even said then that nothing is too much to sacrifise for peace. But guess what Vultures and war mongers from outside the state who were eating from Fubara's Rivers state money convinced him that he should pull out and keep on fighting. People like Edwin Clark from Bayelsa, Rep Ugochinyere from Imo state, Falana from Lagos ( who cashed out big time from endless and meaningless legal battle) are the ones that championed this war and should be held responsible for the breakdown of all peaceful agreements before now. Shebi Edwin Clark has pushed him to the war front and then abandoned him there! |
This guy is really going through a tough psychological stress 'cos of the ministerial loss he expirienced. Wish people could help him out because he's gradually turning into a public parrot. |
Kennyswag:Guy go and learn. The $6b for EAC was just the cost of reclamation of land from the sea. The buildings are not included. They are projecting hundreds of buildings there. One of them alone, that's the US consulate cost more than $500m. The Egyptian new capital cost $58b for the whole project including buildings. The land wasn't reclaimed. |
Abbeytoy:He has already presented this same budget to the other group of 4 guys before now. All he needs to do is just to forward the same documents to the officially accepted house for passage or deliberation. it doesn't take him two hours to do that. |
Righthussle:You just said the truth! |
So some lousy and lazy guys up North want 50% Vat distributed on equality of states. That's the most useless proposal I have seen. So a state will do everything to attract investors and make it's land peaceful only for another lousy state that prioritises religious hatred and strife to be collecting half of what gains freely. Never! |
