Messi fan's are so senssiless. Which one is Paneka penalty again. Messi have missed so many critical penalties both for Barca and for Argentina. Why didn't he use the so called Pakena penalty to score them if it was so effective. Infact he Messi broke down and wept after missing against Chile in the South American finals and went into temporary retirement. If Ronaldo that scores a Penalty they say he's Penaldo. If it's Messi they'll say it's a Penaka Penalty. Hypocrisy. Shemmiless fuuulsss. |
Audaite:And if not for the same unforgiving Bourdilon, I wouldn't even have ever heard that there's anyone like Ambode in this world. He was just a retired senior civil servant. There are hundreds of his type roaming around in Alausa now looking for contracts to supply toilet tissue or exercise book. |
aolawale025:But he didn't just purchase the forms. He filled and returned it along with his so called credentials attached. And he also went through the 3 man APC screening committee in Abuja where he sat and was drilled for several hours but unfortunately found wanting and unworthy. He contested but lost out woefully in the nomination stage. |
luxy44:Ambode did well when it comes to roads, but thats not a reason to start calling Sanwo Olu a puppet because Ambode was equally a puppet. One problem Ambode had was that he deliberately abandoned all the projects Fashola couldn't finish and started new ones. That's not how government works. The Lagos Badagry road that millions of people use was deliberately abandoned for 4 years. It would have been completed by now. How would Ambode feel if all his uncompleted projects are equally abandoned by Sanwo Olu. And for your information, the Agege bridge is now almost completed by Sanwo Olu. |
jidamsel43:I bless you for this statement. For 8 years he was going to his Ota farm from MMIA with Helicopter. He refused to work on the road or ply the road for 8 years till he left office. Such a person should be stoned if seen near that road again. |
bolaayenimo:Shock from who? Bode George or Buhari? My dear, the guy Tinubu has paid his dues. Having survived Abacha and Obasanjo, these present fights will be just like ordinary family quarrels to him. |
Who did this to Pastor Chris? How has he fallen from a Man of authority to a preacher of silly mundane theory. Someone close to him should pls pull him out of this mess. Not good for his personal image and standing. |
Read between the lines where he said former NWC members are free to contest in 6 months time. Could it mean Oshiomhole is coming back for a fresh 4 year term. This country is funny indeed and the more I look the less I see. Am just as confused as any onlooker. I won't be surprised if the deal with former NWC members is.... Don't go to court to challenge the dissolution and in return in 6 months time we'll back your re-election. |
Unigrad:That you suspect Assembly folks may turn around to impeach you does not give you any right not to swear them in. Let them be sworn in first then let other politics continue from there. Remember these are representatives of constituencies. Meaning that 14 LG have no representation in the Assembly. Meaning that the salary of those folks won't even be paid. Look at it this way, so the President can also refuse to inaugurate the senate or Reps of reps if his party is in the minority? Or bring someone from his minority party, or even from his group of friends, take them to Aso Rock at midnight for inauguration and claim its only them he will recognize. |
The success/failure of this venture can only be seen if they APC end up winning Edo state by Sept. If they lose Edo state, then all they did and have done would be in vain and will serve as a lesson to future intra party relations. Buhari is a failure here. Is it after the damage has been done that they're now coming out to blame Obaseki for not accepting peace. He Buhari should has warned Obaseki long ago and applied serious pressure for those 14 Assembly men to be sworn in instead of just appealing to him. Had Obaseki sworn in those folks I believe all these issues would not have escalated. And if he Obaseki happens to win again by Sept. I bet he'll never swear them in till they all leave office. I wonder how a man could have such cold hatred for people elected by their constituencies just like himself. Buhari- should have been strict on Obaseki and threaten party sanctions if he Obaseki still refuses to swear in those Assemby guys. Buhari came out too late to get involved. Oshiomole - Should have been quietly visiting Buhari and urging him to lead the battle. After all he Buhari is the practical party head. Oshiomhole was fighting a battle Buhari should have fought. Tinubu - Should have told Oshiomole to either convince Buhari to go against Obaseki or forget the battle. Obaseki - Should have had a forgiving heart and settled the Edo crisis. He seems to me like someone ready to fight while forgetting that negotiations are also part of the battle. Those are my view. |
Whoever wrote this rubbish article need to go for a brain surgery. How on Earth did Tinubu lose. Infact, am beginning to suspect Buhari and Tinubu secretly discussed this formation and shortlisted the names before Buhari went public. As for now, things can't be better for Tinubu. Fact remains that his and Oshiomhole's candidate for Edo was endorsed by Buhari/APC and if APC wins Edo, it'll now be one more Governor on Tinubu's side. Tinubu is simply the Mega Star in APC that's why so many people wish for his downfall and link him to every and any single thing that happens in the party. Yet he holds no official position. |
BERNIMOORE:Every thing in your life revolves on Tinubu. He is now your God that dictates everything u do or hear. Meanwhile I never heard Tinubu comment on the man being dead or alive. All I was hearing from was from the man's daughters who were with him and brothers that he was alive then. What has Tinubu got to do now with keeping him alive or dead. Na wa for u a ooo |
LMAO. Buhari has betrayed us after giving us hope. How can you dissolve NWC and yet still bring back Tinubu's people again into the caretaker committee. Niger Gov is pro Oshiomhole. Osun Gov is Tinubu's cousin. What then have you achieved Buhari. With Oyetola there, Tinubu will even have more say in the care taker committee than he did with the divided NWC. Chaii. This man Tinubu no dey die ooooo. |
uj |
I have heard this so many times. Last 4 years when Buhari ignored him while selecting ministers everyone said its over for Tinubu. But the truth is that until he loses Lagos it cannot truly be over for him. Why? Because Lagos is not like any other ordinary state in Nigeria. A place that controls 70% of Nigeria's economic activities cannot be ignored in politics. |
Dpharisee:My dear, ignorant people like u don't know what makes a city or a region great. Administrative HQ doesn't really matter. What matters is where the operations take place. It's like saying PH and Warri has lost their place in our oil sector just because NNPC head office is in Abuja. Rubbish! Lagos is so independent that it doesn't lean on FG peanuts like other states. As for companies, even if some relocate outside Lagos, does it not interest you that the world biggest single train refinery is being built in Lagos. With a capacity twice that of all your FG refineries combined. This refinery also comes with the biggest petrol chemical complex and biggest fertilizer complex in Africa. Go to Lekki Export Processing Zone and see how the Chinese are turning that place to a new China. Even a new Lekki port is being constructed there to decongest Apapa. Not to mention Eko Atlantic City that is being dubbed the new African Dubai. My brother, if you are waiting for the fall of Lagos u will wait forever. Presently, nearly 70% of the foreign direct investments coming into Nigeria are looking for a place to set in Lagos. Ok? Have a nice day! |
What will they be doing in Abuja? Sitting on their desk and watching movies. How many flights take off and land in Abuja compared to Lagos. Even all our Airlines have their HQ in Lagos. Why not also tell NPA too to relocate to Abuja. Northern mentality! |
It's either Buhari and his wife are going through a Cold War or some folks in Aso Rock don't respect the woman as they think they are closer to Buhari than his wife. May be part of the illiterate Hausa culture where women are supposed to be seen, not heard. Tell me, can anyone in Aso Rock wage war against Mama Peace, Yar Aduas wife or Stella Obasanjo. Tell me, what official position does Daura and his family command in this country that he should be feeding fat on our tax payers money in Aso Rock and constituting a nuisance. The last I checked its only Trump and his family that reside permanently in the White House. Not even the official aides and security details are residents there. They come and go. |
RuddyFusion:Are the other candidates not Africans too? So you prefer Nigeria to break AU concensus decision here and count on outsiders but when it comes to ADB you'll keep shouting that Africans should unite and ignore outside opinion. Hipocryte! |
densiks:You are one of those who can't sleep or wake up without mentioning Tinubu's name. Two Edo adults are quarreling here. Everybody including Dangote, Buhari, Senate President, Akanbi etc couldn't find a solution yet its Tinubu's name you choose to mention either because of your hatred or because of your fear of him. Buhari who is the head of the party is actually the one who should take responsibility for this APC's mess because only him can enforce any directive on the party or it's members. Everybody looked up to him for directives or guidance but he failed as a leader in this aspect. |
Now i can see the madness has began. Next on the line is ask that Kudirat, or which ever of the wife's/concubines that's next also be recognized as ex 1st Lady. Guys that should be thanking Buhari for life for going beyond everyone's expectations in this aspect are now here playing Oliver Twist who wants more and more. If you win an election and unfortunately die before you are sworn in you can never be recognized as an ex President/Governor etc. In 1996, i got admission offer to Federal Poly Afikpo but didn't go. No matriculation, no registration. So can i come now and claim to be recognized as an Alumni or ex student of Afikpo Poly? When i never set foot in the school? If i do so, I'll be on the same level of madness as what some Abiola family folks as are doing now. |
Menikki31:The Church owns the University. Go to Corporate Affairs Commission in Abuja and check the ownership of the University. Besides, Catholic Church owns thousands of schools and Universities around the world. Were the Schools built before the Church itself? |
We Winners members already know who will succeed him. It's Bishop David Abioye of the Abuja branch who is currently the Winners vice president. Even if going by what Oyedepo just said here that he will submit 3 names to the Council of Priests to select one, it will be a surprise if less than 100% of that council don't pick Abioye. The Winners Chapel succession is already a closed matter unless Abioye decides to leave the church which is unthinkable. CASE CLOSED! |
thesicilian:This is just verification of submitted credentials and other papers/forms they filled. Its normal. In the Company i work it's done every two years no matter how long ago you submitted it or how long you have been working for the company. It's just for integrity sake. The main screening however will be done at the ballot box for those who survive this stage. Questions to be asked at this stage is who admitted him into UI with just 3 credits and then how he graduated in just 3 years. Also, how he was able to meander into a first class University having failed English language. Iam waiting for those explanations. |
Maybe T.A Orji went to get a first hand account of survival tips while incarcerated as am sure he T.A is next on the line. |
SirWarlock:My dear, your so called advantage could also be a heavy disadvantage because if it wasn't handled well and on time it could have wiped out the country. 1. It's an island so no where to run to or hide. 2.The population is low so every single person could have gotten it in a matter of two weeks if they didn't strictly isolate inside their home on time. So kudos to their efforts and discipline. |
Bomboiy:Eedioot. Ronaldo is 35, not 33. He is the oldest in that list. Kudos to him. Messi at 35 will be a potential vegetable, close to retirement. |
paulolee:Messi may just be a footballers but Ronaldo is not just a footballer as we can now see. He is both a footballer, a social icon, a model, world no.1 Instagram brand influencer and a businessman too. Ronaldo is simply preparing for retirement as i don't expect to see both of them in the field in next 3 or 4 years. When a man starts making bigger money from other sources compared to his salary then he is very wise. |
Glare247:Compare wat? |
babyfaceafrica:That wherever you are or whatever you do you should not depend on your paid salary alone. Reach out to other sources of income and make yourself marketable. On your own tiny level, you can start by buying Zenith bank or gt shares and doing other little investment so that even when the salary doesn't come you'll not starve. |
wman:I started by saying lets assume. So its just an example. I had to do this cos u believe all money he spent were gone forever because they are on food and cars alone. You never reckoned with his several business investments that he has been doing over the years that multiply the capital too. |
Dalil6:My dear, it's not just salary, sponsorship deals and bonus, others were included. Did you not read of how much he also made from Instagram and other social media advertising? |
