Thanks. I really can't say what went wrong, the interview presumably went well. I checked the website and it says in the letter that I can remonstrate but I just need some help on how to go about writing the appeal letter.

Didn’t your interview go well? Or you didn’t write a good motivational letter!!
So sorry about this. I think you should check the embassy’s website to see if there’s an appeal to be made when one’s visa is rejected.
