There have been some debates on social media recently that the State of Residence should replace State of origin. In most cases in Nigeria, people are more interested to know your State of origin than Residence be it official or unofficial issues.

Some disagree with the notion. They said that ones State of Origin defines who he/she Is.

But due to migrant issues, some people have a little or zero knowledge about their States of origin.
