Uchboggy: So my trip to Hungary and Austria came to an end today (please watch this space for the video documentary coming soon) and these where some observations and decisions I made.
1. When traveling between neighboring European countries always go for the bus option(FlixBus). It has some advantages over train(except you wanna just experience a luxury train ride). Firstly it is cheaper(I paid 31€ for train while bus was 9€). Secondly train doesn’t really passes inside the city so with train you don’t get to see a lot of city views during the trip. And trust me the bus is 100% luxury (don’t compare with anything we have in Nigeria)
2. In my opinion,If you ask someone in a non-English-speaking European country(Norway excluded) if they speak English(in order to seek directions ) and their reply is ‘A Little’ then you are better off not asking because it means they don’t understand but they still wanna help(so sweet If then though)
3. Last but not least, for your own good DONT PLAN YOUR TOUR DURING WINTER!!!. I literally froze at some point during the tour. At a point it was more of suffering than fun. Plan your travels to cold countries between April and October!
If you can relate of any of the above points please drop a comment.
Pictures: The Schönbrunn palace:
The 1,441-room Baroque palace is one of the most important architectural, cultural, and historical monuments in the country. Over 300 years old.
The Palace also houses the zoo which many claim to be the oldest in the world. @Uchboggy Please don't forget to stroll enter #Tallinn, Estonia We dey here.. wonderful place to visit |

Uchboggy: I also want to make a living from traveling . These are the few ways I think one can make a living off traveling.
1. Promoting your personal travel experiences on social media and then getting contracts as ambassadors to travel agencies
2. Having a blog or YouTube channel (the channel has to be big though)
These two ways are quite tasking and expensive to achieve
Anyone with other suggestions should please help out Nice one |

I concour.... bro u dey on point jare femiratess: applying through a friend or agent can be frustrating like some people rightly said. For me, its all about the person and what trust you have. i applied through a friend/agent and i paid money but i have no regrets. The person actually supervised the whole process for me and a friend and we both got our D-visa and applied for TRP as early as May 15. Infact i have gotten mail from the police and border guard as regards my TRP. I will list advantages and disadvantages below
advantages 1. what you dont know, you dont know. 2. information is power 3. There is nothing like having someone who has gone tru a step putting you tru. Here in nairaland, noone owes you any info and most info are facevalue not indepth. e.g my insurance cost is 99euros made in estonia and am seeing 197 by so many comments. 4. the process is quite simple but tactical. you need experience a bit.
disadvantages 1. you may sometimes be frustrated keeping up to date with your application. 2. trust and honesty factor of the person involved 3. money involved All in all its all about trust and the integrity of the person helping you out. little silly error can cause you delays and this will surely affect your timing all to the point of visa application. my testimony is quite simple. i used a friend/agent and my TRP is surely ready before arrival. Many might have counter testimony but my word remains "what you dont know, you dont know"
list of issues this person solved includes
1. my bsc result had a name differences with my passport 2. my other guy works in dubai and he increased his passport age before leaving nigeria, so he had different birth dates on result and international passport. the agent corrected this and his docs was accepted. 3. he applied for business management(degree) and was rejected. the friend helped and he was allowed to choose environmental specialist without having to go tru ENIC NARIC allover. and he has his visa as well. we both went to india. few people here who speak to me privately can bear witness to all my stories.
lastly nobody is ready to be giving you time, chatting and updating you when they dont stand anything to gain from the process.
END OF NOTE: if you trust the person, spare that little bucks for your own convenience.
Please am not offering assistance to anyone privately, am only sharing my experience. |

Bro Try Estonia and Turkey |
Travel › Re: Thread for South Korea prospective students by Boblee: 6:34am On Jul 11, 2017 |
Bro... how about students on scholarship Does this applies to dem also? acadollar: After one year of study, you need to extend your visa in order to keep your studentship. If you are unable to extend your visa due to finance, you are automatically no more a student, and you become illegal and liable for deportation if caught. It's not to scare you after all there are hundreds of intl students here but its to get yourself prepared. You can raise some part of the money here but all money has to be traced via your account. If for example you worked in Korea and make $10,000, your employer name will reflect on your account as the depositor.
But then you are supposed to work 20 hours per week and that is after your ist 6 months of study with good grades. Immigration has to check your transcript and you will get a job first before work permit will be issued so it's hard to get $10,000 if you work 20hrs a week. That is not even obtainable. Everything is possible. |
