1.As first timer, do we go tru jfk or mco?
2. Can we go separately peradventure my leave is not granted, because my husband may not be chanced again.

Get a Travel History my brother. The Embassy keeps saying all these things, but naija pple can sabi ignore the truth just becoz Fatima got her visa on a virgin passport or Tunde just went to Ghana only and he was granted. Guy! my 50cent, Travel to Europe first and then reapply for a US visa with a genuine reason..I bet you will be granted. Things have changed now in 2018!

I must say that getting America Visa is extremely difficult now especially for those with virgin passport. Even those that have good travel history still find it hard to get Visa. Just in the space of two months three of my friend who are very very comfortable in Nigeria were all refuse Visa. Just today my cousin was deny Visa as well, below is his transcript.

So what happened?

Get a SOLID travel history. Don't do Dubai or those cable visa countries. Visit SA, the UK, Ireland, schengen countries or major tourist locations in Asia that grants and affix a sticker visa on your passport and not a cable visa. With these countries visa(s) on your passport and a solid preparation....you are sure on your way to the US!

Where did we go wrong? We went with statement of account and landed properties they did ask us to show proof of ties.

When can we reapply?

You all need to travel as a family for vacation to an advanced country like the UK and then reapply for the US visa when you are ready for another vacation (Pls don't apply immediately you guys are back from the UK)

Former Cameroon International Rigobert Song has passed away.

Song, one of the most recognizable faces in African soccer died at the age of 40.
He suffered a stroke on October 3 and was said to have been making a recovery. News of his death was confirmed on October 7, days after government officials in his homeland had given him the all-clear.
Cameron’s health minister, Andre Mama Fouda, had on October 5 said after Song left the hospital where he was taken to for cerebral aneursym, “He leaves conscious. His life is no longer in danger, but he is not out of the woods yet. We hope he gets well soon, and comes back in full form, as we know him to be.”
Another report on October 5 said Song had opened his eyes following his coma.
Former Cameroon team-mate Samuel Eto’o who earlier tweeted in French: “I wish you courage and a speedy recovery big brother” later tweeted again after hearing the sad news again “sad to hear the demise of my big brother, RIP”.

My advice: Be confident, bold and moreso know your DS160 details like the back of your palms.
Most importantly have a Travel History *IT IS HIGHLY IMPORTANT*

I don't know how that came about as i am not qualified for a dropbox application. I am a returning applicant trying to schedule a new appointment.

Please how can i cancel the dropbox appointment and schedule an interview date appointment as soon as possible.

Please a colleague is trying to book an appointment to re-apply for a B1/B2 visa to attend and present his research paper at an int'l conference in the US but the date booking section is rejecting his profile email that the information supplied is similar to another person's email. Though the email your website is referring to is similar to his name, I think that email was used by him at his first application with the embassy but he now uses a new email. Please how can he change the old email to his new email to proceed to booking of his appointment date?

However, we have made use of the Feedback section to contact the embassy but no response now for 1 week.

U be winch? How you take know? That was the exact questions! I guess with no travel history worked against me. (I am married with 2 kids and a senior level civil servant) I go start to dey build travel history jare, it matters a lot.

Tanx. But a colleague said he filled "Government" in his own application which was granted last month. Though confused since under "Education" we have two categories " GOVT & PRIVATE". My colleague said since we are "Civil Servants" we should fall under the "Government" option. Please kindly clarify.
