Thanks for responding to all my enquiries. Assuming I claimed to be married as I am not legally separated as there is no legal document to back it up for now and the divorce process is a little bit slow in Nigeria. If I claim spouse non-accompanying, what are the documents I need to produce apart from PCC in all the countries he has lived in and medicals keeping in mind as he won't be writing IELTS for obvious reasons? How much POF will I need if I 'll be taking a child with me or they will still expect me to show POF for a family of three? The third question is that after getting PR, can I submit my divorce papers?

You people should please answer my question o. @ArcUgo do you mean I should get a court affidavit that we are no longer together. Then if I decide to settle down with someone else after getting PR will there be any problem?

@ArcUgo do you mean i have to visit a lawyer to give me a form of an affidavit that we are separated.

I will like to know how to go about my express entry application. I am currently separated from my husband but we haven't gone to court to nullify the marriage and I don't think that will be possible before I start my process. I want to apply as separated while claiming I have a daughter as my dependent. Hope that would not mean misrepresentation or is there any other way to go about it?
