I think the laminating myth only works in Nigeria.
Is there anyone here who has applied for a job or admission outside Nigeria where they asked to see your original certificate? Most times your transcript confirms where you attended school, and not your certificate. As for Embassies, I don't know anyone who has been denied a visa for presenting a laminated certificate. (Someone here may know sha).

It's only in Nigeria that if you have a Federal job, you would be asked to go to Abuja twice a year to verify your credentials (that they have seen before).

-First create a profile on Wes Canada page
-Choose document by document evaluation for immigration.
-Pay the fees using a debit card preferably GTB(I personally think they charged me lower than my 2nd bank)
-Apply to your school for Masters transcript using Your -Wes Application no.
-Also send your masters Certificate to Wes canada using Hellofax.com
Wes acknowledges documents sent to them within 24-48hrs.
THE whole process is fast . The major delay is Verification from your school.
Unilag took 5 weeks before they verified an electronic email sent to them from Wes Canada.
After verification you get the date your ECA report would be sent plus/minus a few days occasionally.
That's the summary of the wes assessment process for my wife's master's degree.

Is it a compulsory requirement to have some pay slips as part of post ITA papers?

I have every other documents ready, but there are few errors on my pay slips, which I'm very sure personnel unit wouldn't want to correct.

I'm thinking of going ahead with just the reference letter, employment and confirmation letter. Would these be fine?

My brief Timeline below.

IELTS = 5 times
ITA = 04/06/2018
AOR = 11/08/2018
MEP = 12/09/2018
BIL = 17/09/2018
PPR = 20/09/2018

3 days between Biometrics and PPR
8 days from MEP to PPR.

This could only have been God.

I'm actually a silent follower of this thread. Learnt a lot from here. IELTS oppressed me. I will by tomorrow highlight my experience and detailed timelines, for others to learn from and not get neither weary nor discouraged.

Verification was previously done free of charge but someone who did recently said you have to pay N5000 now. So, verification wouldn't be done till you pay. Sent me a PM, I might give you one or two contacts.

WES of life irrespective of WAEC(which is actually very simple and straightforward)

For WES one fee covers all degree for others one fee for ND another for HND.

If you use WES, you will pay $207 for the 2 certificates but you must also evaluate your WAEC/NECO.

WES also needs to send verification email/mail to your school & WAEC/NECO. This is where the time wasting lies.

If you use ICES, you will pay $200 for each certificate plus $75 for international shipping, making it $475 (in your case).

ICES doesnt request the evaluation of your WAEC/NECO. They dont send verification email like WES. They also allow your school to send your transcript to them via official email address.

Forget IQAS & ICAS...they are time 'wasters.'

I will like to know how to go about my express entry application. I am currently separated from my husband but we haven't gone to court to nullify the marriage and I don't think that will be possible before I start my process. I want to apply as separated while claiming I have a daughter as my dependent. Hope that would not mean misrepresentation or is there any other way to go about it?
