Melagros: COMRADES are speechless, this claim maybe true because when you were imprisoned together with the downtrodden and you look at their conditions, you're heart must be filled with pity
englishmart: My iPhone 14 had an issue and I decided to travel from my temporary Abeokuta residence to Ikeja to fix it. Before I got to Ikeja, I was stopped over at Falomo. I crawled into an eatery where I was disappointingly presented with an unbelievably and criminally inflated price of food I got this almost-nothing for #1500. Can you imagine the absurdity? That was preposterous, I thought to myself.
It's unfortunate even in my hood my brotherhood can testify you are are not grateful
I still don't understand with all the wealth and political influence this people have while their kids are so poor, starving and hungry.
I stay in Kubwa Abuja
Anytime I drive out of the estate these kids are always there in their numbers with rubber plates begging for food... it's an eyesore
Not just in Abuja even when I was in Lagos same Sh!t
What a useless bunch of region dragging the country behind.
Why can't dangote start a state of emergency for Education in the North.
Arrest any Northern parent who sends their children out to Beg instead of being in school.
These guys are the true heap of load dragging the country behind.
The south even with their own problems are more progressive and seek better standard of living.
I wake up and shed tears each time I remember these guys are just dragging everyone behind.
As in in the North like 3 people are will trillions of Naira in their bank account why the rest are in abject unexplainable poverty.
Nonsense
It's not the duty of any businessman to takeover the duty of the law makers and the presidency.

Goalnaldo: I have been hearing or reading about people receiving huge amount of money but today it happened to me. I just got a credit alert of 300k and I don't know who sent it. To be honest this is the exact amount I need at the moment to sort my rent and pay some debts. On Monday I'll head to my bank to lay a complaint. This month marked my 10 year as a registered member of Nairaland. Few year ago, I was trying so much to get the first to comment. Tried several times and didn't make it, then I gave up.
I just clicked in randomly today on this thread to see no one had commented and behold I am the first to comment, my first in 10 years.
Moral lesson= When it's your time, it all works out easily and people will think you have a cheat code. Guys, just stay focused and go on with life. No do pass yourself. Tables do turn so be prepared for when it turns to you.
successmatters: Lagos was developed by the whole Nigerians, with Niger Delta oil money. Most of the infrastructure you see in Lagos, the people celebrating lagos today didn't know how it came about.
Lagos and the region it belongs in has its feeding bottle still in the Niger Delta region, see how deceptive they are, they will be celebrating lagos with oil money and if you tell them to form their own country, they will refuse. You wan hunger to finish them?
If you quote me, you will get withlow on your finger
Lagos State master planning started during colonial era while groundnut pyramid of the north and cocoa of the Western Nigeria resource was utilized by Northerners to build Lagos which is Yoruba land. Lagos belongs to Yorubas Abuja belongs to Hausas and sub ethnics within the locality while Onitsha belongs to Igbos despite that all the places mentioned above belongs to Nigerians irrespective of the tribe and religion
A Nigerian lady has said she regrets graduating with a first class and being the best graduating student of her department.
According to the young lady, she concentrated solely on her academics and forgot to have a social life.
She said she has graduated and has no social skills or any form of network as she did not interact with even her classmates while in school. She said she has come to the sudden realization that having ‘’connections'' in Nigeria is very important.
havecycle: Sometimes when we see these things from afar, we think they are not real until they happen to us directly as its in my case today.
(For the sake of tribalism here, let me not mention the location).
So I have been searching for job and this week alone, from Monday, i have been into different places in search for work.
I don't have money and that means staying hungry and forcing myself to go to all the places even without food.
So where I passed yesterday, I saw a construction site and i decided to go to that place today being Friday to look for any menial job i can do to earn a living. With so many things on my head, hunger, frustration and all, unconsciously, I didnt know i was talking to myself and was about crossing road without looking if any car was coming. Shockingly there was this car that almost swept me. The driver matched the break with a very loud horn. The shock threw me into unconsciousness and i fainted. How the people around helped me regain consciousness I dont know. I'm even surpised the car didt hit me.
To God be the glory that I didnt pass to the great beyond.
I have this to tell to drivers and car owners out there.
Please always be very careful while on steering. Economic frustration in the country has made lots of people mentally unstable. It happened to me today.
Don't know why life choose to be so hard to some people. Someone in this economy without a job is a dead man.
Anyhow, search will continue and I pray my effort yields good results.
Nataliace: The younger brother to my husband occasionally comes to visit us. My husband takes good care of him and support his business dealings.
He trusts his brother that he can travel for weeks leaving us together.
Recently my brother in-law's movement towards me changed.
He sometimes rub his hands on my back as if he was just being friendly. He made strange and unusual move towards me several times and I was uncomfortable with that.
I warned him that if he doesn't stop I will report to my husband.
My husband travelled last week and his brother has begun his behaviors of unexpectedly touching my body and showing up in my room or just following me to the kitchen whenever I am preparing meal.
I thought of reporting to his brother but I don't want to be the reason they will be enemies for life.
How do I stop him so this remain between two of us?
This is sincerely becoming unbearable.
permit me to say this your husband is an evil man islamically not good to leave you and his junior brother behind while travelling. Can you allow your sister to remain in your house with your husband while travelling. Conclusively you are not bad
