I know , Eguavon will soon resign, because Nigeria won't qualify for the World cup.....
Who should they hire? Because NFF said , they don't have money for hiring foreign coach ...... Nobody use mouth pursue Finidi. His inefficiency and unnecessary temper got the better of him. Person wey never fit win two straight matches begin raise shoulders pass Apostolic church pastors shoulder pads. |

brain54: I have never liked Eguavon's coaching methods...
But he seems to have a way with getting the required results.
If a local coach is what is needed... Then he should be considered for the job highly.
Only question is how he will combine with his position as technical director even though the roles overlap but I will suggest not to combine both! Getting which required results? Losing to ordinary Rwanda felt like a "required result" to you? Respect yourself this early morning! |

No thanks to the endless and massive corruption running in the corridors of the NFF. |

There is a concerning measure of corruption in the Ogun state government circle that should require Federal scrutiny.
Successive government administrations are always embroiled in one failed contract agreement or the other, subsequently resulting in embarrassing outcomes to the rest of the country.
Even Dangote once complained about how efforts to site his refinery there, were scuttled and frustrated by those in government resulting in its relocation to Lagos.
Something is wrong with that State but nobody seems to want to ask questions. |

Emeskhalifa: Either you do not reside in Abuja, or you are allowing your personal grudges to take over your sense of reasoning, you'd know that Abuja has not had a productive Minister as Wike aside Elrufai.
I was at Kuje some weeks ago and I was impressed with how work was going, who will believe that Kuje of all places will have its road turned to double lane?
Then Was at Gwarimpa (former Ojuelgba side) seeing how serious work was going made me wish we could have more of his kind at the helm of power.
Regardless of he talks too much and sometimes doesn't give a shit who his words hurt, the Minister is trying, like I said, except you are not in Abuja I'm particularly pleased with the urbanisation of the Kuje road. Glad I didn't feel compelled enough to sell off my plot there two years ago. Agents are already calling with double price offers . |

Quite commendable.
Those rural roads have been quite a problem to the inhabitants of those villages who are mostly farmers, especially the ones interconnected to Bwari. Even the main Bwari express leading to the JAMB headquarters needs expansion. |

ojuolu: I hate sensational headings like this one. These incidences happened under Buhari Government. Why bring Umahi into the story? This is 2024. An event that happened several years before Umahi became minister of works is being pinned on him. The housing ministry is not even under FMoW now. And again, there was someone or some people in charge then, why can the newspaper investigate (Simple Google search would have helped) and publish the right names to support the content? Anyways, we are whom we are because of the way we act and we act the way we act because we are whom we are. The event was not "pinned on" Umahi but the Ministry which he now superintends. One can even argue that there's absolutely nothing wrong in his name being put into the heading, because it is believed everyone who stumbles on it is supposed to read well enough to know that it's the past activities of his Ministry that's under scrutiny. Much as the heading oozes mischief, it will cost an avid reader nothing to carefully go through the article so mix-ups can be avoided. How different are you the reader from the publisher who put up the sensational headline if you won't take few minutes to read before dishing out an opinion? Then again, Nigerians will always be just as well, Nigerians. |

During Goodluck Jonathan's (GEJ) tenure, it was Dasuki; under Buhari, it was Emefiele. Now, under Tinubu, it will be Umahi.
He should use his head now that he has time and refuse any fraudulent activities this government is forcing him to commit.
That highway to hell they're pushing him toward will be his doom. I knew I wouldn't have to scroll far to see an idiotic comment such as this. A typical example of a mentally unstable Nigerian who lacks the ability to read properly before formulating an opinion. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Chinese Vessel Spotted Where Baltic Sea Cables Were Destroyed. by BoldBrainz(m): 9:24am On Nov 20, 2024 |
Botragelad: Are you confused? The article states that a Chinese-registered vessel was seen near the locations where underwater cables were damaged, prompting an investigation.
Now, if you read that piece, it says "the vessel travelled from Russia's Ust-Luga port to Port Said in Egypt, passing close to the affected cables around the time they were cut". This occurrence is what led to suspicions that the Chinese vessel was responsible for the sabotage.
If the Chinese vessel wasn't suspected or said to have cut the cables, why then were they fingered out or tracked down?🤷♂️ It's simple to comprehend. Even your first paragraph contradicts the nonsense comment you dropped as a follow-up. The vessel passed close to the location of the affected cables, prompting suspicions and an investigation which is said to be underway. Nothing has been concluded or insinuated yet. But your coconut head jumped into formulating the conclusion for the authorities undertaking the investigations. This is how you people misrepresent news. It is rather you who should learn to properly understand the things you read. |
