Arrived Florida and POE experience was smooth. Should be in Houston in 2days as I plan using Oakbend Medical Center, however I am still trying to finalize accommodation issues because I traveled with my LO and would like her to attend school as well as closest to Oakbend MC, any recommendation would be fine from momas who used Oakbend in the past.

If it is the avenue the on sam Houston parkway South around 3030 there are a lot of them
Studio6 etc.
A Mama in here used soulcareconcierge check them out too.
Some others mentioned airbnb.

Anything near Oakbend that can give me 2 rooms apartment becos im traveling with Mum, 2kids and Hubby would

be visiting.

Finding a short stay accommodation is an issue for me

Hello mamas. In the spirit of giving back;
My POE experience:
I flew Emirates airline on Sunday from Lagos. Presented my fit to fly that I found on their website at check in. Arrived Dubai at 5am the following day. Went straight to Dubai connect to get my visa, then immigration to get it stamped and proceeded to the hotel stand in the airport as I was booked in Copthorne hotel (Hotel and visa courtesy the Airline.) Layover was for 22 hours. Spent the day sleeping, walking around the hotel and yea free buffet ( breakfast, lunch and dinner courtesy emirates ).
Left for the airport at 12am ( free transportation to and fro the airport; courtesy Emirates ) 16 hours flight to Dallas was at 2:50am. Landed in Dallas at 9am Dallas time, proceeded to CBP. Met the nicest old man as the CBP officer, spent barley a minute with him. All he asked for was my correspondence with my doctor and stamped my passport till September.
Picked my luggage and went to check in for my connecting flight as I was heading to Oklahoma.
Currently chilling in Oklahoma.
Thank you to all the Mummies here for all the information that helped prepare for this trip.

I haven't used the hospital, I'm only planning to by July, However here is the info I gathered so far

vaginal delivery is $2000.00 which includes all office visits, all routine lab work done in the office, all ultrasounds done in the office, the delivery and the postpartum visits after delivery.

If it is a c-section it will be $2200.00.

Payment is expected to be paid in full by the 34th week of pregnancy therefore if you are 34 or more weeks payment in full will be expected at your first visit.
