FamilyRe: Should A Wife Join Cash And Effort To Build House/business With Her Husband. by bomly(f): 7:45pm On Feb 22, 2012
In some cases even the male children aren't guarantee that her husbands properties is going to give her the financial security she wants, she needs her own. Men also may not key into joint ventures because they in most cases have more money and also may be scared that if they have a divorce then the woman has a large share so so so people this is complicated. Marriage and Investment as it regards both spouse.
FamilyRe: Should A Wife Join Cash And Effort To Build House/business With Her Husband. by bomly(f): 7:40pm On Feb 22, 2012
My opinion on this: with the present situation the woman should not invest except with the backup of legal documentation and not word of mouth. My Late Dad was a legal practitioner and we heard of even worst cases, the woman should know the end product whether or not the mother-in-law made such a statement, Our Nigerian men still hold male children higher than their female counterparts, in most cases that man may want to have a male child in the future hence she would loose out.

Trying to keep the marriage: Most Men would not be comfortable to see their wife building why they are also building a house or making investment but I think it's better for today's women to hold on and take their stands, you should have your personal investment or joint, you cannot be giving your resources to your husband who is building in his name, it's common sense, anything can happen, love fades even if its not anyone's prayer. Nobody know the result of a situation until it happens, we can predict but our predictions might not be a lie. Men love their family but still cheat, sometimes they get away with it but sometimes they get hooked.

Nah complicated matter be this but of a truth Women learn to invest on your names also, it would help to stay safe.

HealthRe: How true is WHO statistics on Hiv/Aids In Nigeria? by bomly(f): 6:45pm On Oct 28, 2011
Anyway first I want you to show me the source from where the WHO says that out of every 10 Sexually Nigerian there is one person living with HIV. I dont think this is right based on my knowledge, in 2008 I did my IT in SPDC and we had a free voluntary counselling and testing program to sensitize Warri community as well as carry out free HIV test, and I can say that the numbers living positively was really very minute, and if I correlate the result with what is published I would disagree with some of this statistic however this is not to say that Nigeria is not one of the mostly hit in terms of HIV/AIDS, remember we have a huge population with very poor health care system, we also have alot of young people making up the entire Nigeria population so we possible could fall in one of the highest prevelance rates in the world.

If you can to go through our WHO Health statistics for 2008 here is a link on it.

I must confess this isuue of date is not an easy process, except for student and medical reasons who can get expidated date by request, I have been on the website for up to two months now and I am yet to get a date for November or December. Anyway I keep trying and hoping. The issue of booking for the right visa is true, a guy i met also on this nairaland forum made the wrong booking, after informing him that it's first time applicant he went on to book renewal, but luckily for me I found out and cancelled the booking so now I am back to square search.

Thanks and I wish you all luck

Hello,

I think you can change the DS-160 Form no in your appointment even after booking an appointment, you simple go to Edit Profile and add the new DS-160 Form you want to use on the day of your appointment, I tried it and it worked for me though.
TravelRe: General U.S.A (student) Visa Enquiries by bomly(f): 9:57am On Oct 22, 2011
imperiouxx the dates are even better with Student, visiting is worst, anyway I advice you to take the earliest date then write to the embassy when you are ready, however you can still keep checking since you have a month and half or more before you go to the embassy.

TravelRe: Re-issue Of Nigerian E-passport by bomly(f): 2:49am On Oct 20, 2011
The Re-Issuance of the Nigerian E-Passport is only done in Abuja and it cost 50k Cash. When you get to Abuja you see alot of immigration officers, go to a top ranked officer to assist you, it takes 2-4days to get it done, although I heard that the time frame has increased, it took my nephew 1month to get it done even after paying 50k.
I wish you luck.

For people wain don go Dublin, UK, France, USA, Jakpan, Korea, Malaysia watin, nah achievment to travel again? anyway enjoy touring the world

PoliticsRe: Do Not Legalise Prostitution – Mrs Abimbola Fashola by bomly(f): 6:05am On Oct 13, 2011
Nigeria has the third-largest number of people living with HIV yet we are still talking of behavior that promotes the increase, we don't we move with positive trend, countries are delibrating on positive issues like improving productivity, promoting education, healthy life choices for youths, good healthcare system, job creation and we are talking about prostitution. I beg I nor need dey talk this kind matter jare.
PoliticsRe: Do Not Legalise Prostitution – Mrs Abimbola Fashola by bomly(f): 5:58am On Oct 13, 2011
Nah Wa O Kobojunkie , anyway you are entitled to whatever opinion you have on this issue, However Legalization of Prostitution should not be a priority issue, infact not something to talk about, what good will it cause to the Nigeria society?

Most women in prostitution did not make a rational choice to enter prostitution. They did not sit down one day and decide that they wanted to be prostitutes. Rather, such choicesare better termed survival strategies. Rather than consent, a prostituted woman more accurately complies to the only options available to her. Her compliance is required by the very fact of having to adapt to conditions of inequality that are set by the customer who pays her to do what he wants her to do.

Legalization of prostitution does not promote women's health: Sexually transmitted infections would definately increase if prostitution is legalize, most of the time the women who prostitute go for the money with little or no conern about their health hence making them more vulnerable to infections.

Anyway I am not trying to arrue or debate but my 100% certain that legalizing prostitution in Nigeria is not a top priority issue and shouldn't be, not now and not in 50years to come.

My question: DON'T WE THINK THEY ARE MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES TO BE ADDRESSED?
PoliticsRe: Do Not Legalise Prostitution – Mrs Abimbola Fashola by bomly(f): 4:06am On Oct 13, 2011
HEAY HEAY HEAY I BEG I TIRE, THIS MATTER STRONG OH. I Cannot find one reason why prostitution should be legal, an act that is meant to dehumanize human can not be something to legalize.

Legalization of prostitution of the sex industry will increases child prostitution.
Legalization of prostitution does not promote women's health.
Legalization of prostitution does not enhance women's choice.

He clear now oh, this senators head nah basket wain dey lick water, they are just not in their right minds. UN is wasting alot of money in Nigeria trying to promote healthy choices and living. Okay why can't they finish with key issues first before thinking of this, prostitution nor be naija problem, they should solve issues that are pressing, Light - NO LIGHT, Generator noise wan kill person, Abi nah Education - School strike, Healthcare - Doctors not well paid or not even paid at all, Road - Pot hole deep like Well, Infact Nigerians why we dey fall our hand nah.
PoliticsRe: Ekweremadu Asks Senate To Legalise Prostitution by bomly(f): 3:35am On Oct 13, 2011
Im in great shock to see this kind of headline. Heay watin when is Nigeria going to start thinking in the right direction? pls if I may ask what will the legalisation of prostitution bring to Nigeria? Naija Men make una nor devalue una pikin, sisters, mothers and friends. Everyone of us is centered around women one way or the other, Think of your daughter as a prostitute getting support to practice this act lawfully? maybe your mind fit judge you. Heayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Nigeria ooo
PoliticsRe: Do Not Legalise Prostitution – Mrs Abimbola Fashola by bomly(f): 3:26am On Oct 13, 2011
I hope this is not a debate on legalising prostitution? I fear all una when say make them legalize prostitution and my question is what benefit would it bring to Nigeria? But wait ooo if U born pikin will you wish for her to become a prostitute? anyway nor be today, The Heart of Men is despirately wickeeeeeeeeeeeeedd I beg make we fear God oh, even America never fit legalize this matter for all states with the height of civilization yet Naija wain never fit handle common NEPA wahala dey talk of to legalize prostitution. Okay nah go on dey legalize rubbish
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by bomly(f): 1:26pm On Oct 12, 2011
