Nigeria’s superstar, Wizkid has cancelled his homecoming show scheduled for later this year, and all other shows for the rest of the year and January 2017.

In an apology he made to his fans in Nigeria and Uganda, the “Ojuelegba” crooner said that he took the action following the advice of his doctors.

The potato starch is mixed with plastic (synthetic resin, for example) and then takes the form of a grain of rice. The grains are then steamed with a typical rice flavor. Doctors sound the alarm against the consumption of this artificial product: three solid portions apparently contain as much plastic as a small plastic bag. An alarming fact!

With these simple tricks, you can determine whether your rice is natural or stuffed with plastic:

The water test

Pour a tablespoon of raw rice into a glass filled with cold water and mix vigorously. If the rice falls to the bottom of the glass, everything is fine, if on the contrary it floats on the surface, be vigilant, because it surely contains plastic!

The fire test

Using a lighter and a match, burn a handful of rice. If it catches fire and smells of burnt plastic, you know what to do! Do not eat it!

The mortar and pestle test

When molding a few grains of rice with a mortar and pestle, the powder should be quite white. For artificial rice, you will notice a yellow discoloration instead.

The MTV Europe Music Awards has finally stripped off Nigeria’s Wizkid of the Best African Act award and given it to Ali Kiba after days of public outcry from Tanzanians

The award that was subject to a public vote became a subject of discussion after votes showed Ali Kiba was leading but the organisers gave Wizkid the trophy during the ceremony in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Ali Kiba said he was awaiting communication from the award organisers and on Wednesday, MTV Base East Africa made the announcement.

Reacting to the news, Ali Kiba said

The naked profile shoot was on Donald Trump’s customised Boeing 727 as it featured Melania wearing handcuffs, wielding diamonds, and holding a chrome pistol.

This is coming in less than 24 hours to the highly contested United States of America presidential elections with Democratic Party candidate, Hillary Clinton who was a former Secretary of State.

There are indications that the pictures were controversially released to scuttle the chances of Trump‘s emergence as President in the election which has attracted global attention.

I have a divine assignment from God to come out with something like this. It has a divine agenda. What is the divine agenda? What is the agenda? It is to create a selfless platform for people to come together and become the custodian, part and parcel towards rebuilding this nation. We shouldn’t leave it to only the government of the day to run. It is going to be a kind of shadow government, that will also externalise itself in all that they want to do for the nation. The Abundant Blessing Congress will also be internalizing what they want to do and that’s what we are going to externalize in the nation. That’s why I said we shall have a shadow government, because right now, what we have doesn’t make me happy.
