You can stop it I suffer the same predicament too.

Go to the Control panel>system and security>administrative tool>services(when the window opens you need to disable the update in two places)

first, disable it by scrolling down to update orchestrator service>right click and click on properties on the startup type dialogue box input disable also click on apply, stop and ok.


second, disable it by scrolling down to window update the same way you did to orchestrator service

I hope this helps, I don't exhaust more than 2gig a week.

Stop the laptop from updating windows. Search on google " how to stop win10 from updating". The data wastage will stop immediately.

Yes, update is NORMAL but it's not pocket friendly in Nigeria!

You can do this if you like or prefer working with your PC or laptop.

When you update monthly, you defer again. So, you only update once in a month and minimize your data usage.

Good morning bosses.
I was gifted a laptop which I thought would make this domaining easier, but it sucks a lot of data within minutes.
The last time I was only trying to setup my Ed.net account on the laptop and also some chrome extensions, but it consumed more than 2 GB in less than an hour, without me completing what I was doing.
It's just been upgraded to windows 10

Please is this normal??
Any way out?
