Truth is, UNIBEN enjoys close to 24-hour supply. In Fact, they can go on for 72 hours without the light blinking. Courtesy of the independent Power Plant (IPP) inside the school.
Stores and shops inside UNIBEN are all metered, same with private residential areas like staff Quarters and religious houses.

The crux of the problem is the Student's hostels. There are more than 11 student hostels in UNIBEN. With a population of more than 7000 occupants. This is where the calculations should start from.

I think most departments should start thinking of how to go off-grid. This will really help.

As a graduating class, we did a Solar project for our department. Solar that can power the HOD's offices and our presentation room courtesy of our Course adviser who sold this brilliant idea to us.

Thou I know departments like Geology have been off the grid. I think they have a massive solar system too.

If other departments can follow suit this will drastically reduce the energy load needed to be supplied.

Way to go.

please who has iphone 8plus panel for sale? Or, who is willing to buy an 8plus? Everything works fine apart from the fingerprint/back sensor. Thou,it has been activated on the screen.

maybe he ripped the home button flex,in that case a screen replacement should work but you can have someone replace the flex for you without changing the screen too.

I've tried this, it didn't work. Even tried changing the entire screen still same.

SLTV's parent company is MetroDigital. I think MetroDigital has been in existence since the time of HiTV. just that it was limited to some areas, I think areas that got coverage were Asaba, Onitsha, and Port Harcourt.

To be precise, I started using MetroDigital in 2009. Subscription used to be 2500/3000 naira then. Used them till 2018/2019. I think that was when they had an issue with Multichoice Company and they went Down. Good to see them back.

This story is just to buttress that they have been in business for long. For those who are doubting their longevity.

I know, they are currently in court with Multichoice company but they seem to be having the upper hand.

And of course, I was seeing all European football competitions with them including the English Carling Cup which Dstv was unable to show then, before they bought the TV rights in 2018/2019.

To SLTV, I say welcome back.

I used Fasterpay some hours ago to move some money from my UBA prepaid Visa card (Naira) to Wise. The rate was around 525/$. It hasn't arrived, but will within 24 hours.

Fasterpay is not the only option. Since it's a Dollar card, it should work except there is a new restriction. I have UBA Dollar card, but I hardly use it. All the best.
