New007:You think every writer would welcome my exposing their articles here? Someone may copy and publish such articles and the original writer will think I published them. The only time I'll share those links here is if I get the writer's permission. Follow this thread as I'll definitely share the GDocs links here for writers who permit it. |
cleverseo:If you did communicate with me through email, you'll soon realize how very wrong you are. I decided to pause the project because more than 95% of writers could not produce the technical articles I wanted. I've decided to prepare a training session first and select from the best. It was a mistake starting this without the training first. |
cleverseo:No one was scammed. I wrote a befitting reply to all your accusations of scam. don't know why Nairaland didn't publish it. But I'll definitely clean my name here over time. Wouldn't have launched this project now if I knew I'll deal with so much trash by writers who are so desperate to get paid that they neglect much of my instructions. |
TheManofTomorrow:I've read all the scam accusations. Time for a detailed and befitting reply. Okay, so you expected me to pay N5 or N10 per word for crappy articles that don't even follow simple instructions. Most of you didn't even read my instructions. It's annoying to even check most the articles submitted. I could overlook poor language with grammar errors, but certainly not outright disregard of instructions. You don't just write to fill the word-count. You are writing to help someone solve a problem. Most of you guys were in a hurry to just finish the article and get paid. It doesn't work that way. I specifically mentioned these requirements: An in-depth research Satisfying users' search intentions Arranging ideas in a descending order of importance Giving each paragraph a topic sentence and emphasizing it with relevant details Using simple language Here's a simple example of the type of article I wanted from writers. Compare this example with the article you wrote before calling me names on Nairaland. https://proxypayee.com/webmoney-to-skrill/ You don't know how it feels reviewing a dozen worthless articles. You want me to pay N5,000 or N10,000 for a 1k word article that no body will read through. How could that help my website or drive traffic? I'd rather do this job gradually a lone and achieve my target in 10 months than publish dozens of low-quality articles in 1 month. Hence, I've decided to suspend it for now. To the lazy writers on Nairaland who think writing is all about word-count, let me advice you. You won't get anywhere with that attitude and no high-value client will ever hire you long-term. So, if you really want to succeed in this trade, it's mandatory to develop your writing skills further. Follow these steps: 1. cleverseo:Great advice. I'm the one you guys are accusing of being a scammer. Read my posts above. If you can provide the kind of quality I linked to, let's see how you won't get paid. |

You can check 500 words at a time free of charge, and it's one of the best out there. 8. Last but not least, practice writing every day. I like to help, but I don't tolerate laziness. Most of your submissions reek laziness. So, for those who think I'm a scammer who got away with their sample articles, you are wrong. I'll definitely get back to the good writers among you. Check the test article you submitted against the example I linked to at the beginning of this post and tell me whether I should accept it. |
cleverseo:I've read all the scam accusations. Download the free collocation dictionary of 5000 most frequently used words in America. Use the link below. https://www.academia.edu/29501273/Word_Frequency_List_of_American_English This will help you in building the 2500 core vocabulary need for native-style writing. 2. Use this online utility tool to whenever you finish writing an article. It'll show you the total variety of words used in that article and also flag unusual words that make comprehension difficult. The tool also shows how easy or difficult your is to comprehend. If you understand how to use this tool, it'll help you a lot in improving your articles. 3. Read a lot ... a lot. Read high-quality articles, buyer feedback on Amazon, and comments on U.S forums like Reddit. This will help you to develop a knack for fluency. 4. Use this grammar book by "TheFreeDictionary" to sharpen your writing. https://www.thefreedictionary.com/The-Farlex-Grammar-Book.htm It's available for free online reading but the PDF copy costs a few dollars. You can open each item on the table of contents page, copy and paste its contents in a word document and convert it to PDF. 5. Use this "Federal Plain Language Guidelines" document to further improve your writing https://www.plainlanguage.gov/media/FederalPLGuidelines.pdf 6. Get a writer that you'll imitate, such as a foreign journalist. Copy and paste their best articles in a word document. Collect up to 10,000 words of their articles and use the tool below to convert the word document into an MP3 file. Download the MP3 file and be listening to it on your phone or laptop even when you are working on other things. 7. Use this plagiarism tool whenever you write an article. cleverseo:That's what you think because you probably didn't make it past the test. Please use Quetext.com to check if your article ever gets published. I deleted the space because writers were submitting garbage. I'll definitely continue checking the articles and hire good writers. |
cleverseo:Make sure you have proof before spewing nonsense here. You'll soon read the testimonies of those who got paid. If you want to please any employer, follow the instructions given to you. The fact I want to help writers doesn't mean I'll accept any kind of lazy writing. |
cleverseo:You expect me to accept and publish garbage I guess. Why not use Quetext.com to check whether your sample has been published. If I wanted to cheat, I would let you guys work until October before deleting the Google Space. After screening nearly a dozen submissions where writers barely followed instructions, I knew I had to suspend the entire project because I don't have the time intensively edit those low quality articles. |
TheManofTomorrow:Watch your words. The few of you who submitted a test article should keep checking online to see if it ever gets published. Use the plagiarism checker Quetext.com. It's one of the strictest and allows checking up to 500 words free. I'm going to write a more detailed reply to all your accusations and share the Google Docs links to the articles many of you guys submitted. No reputable site will publish such articles. I won't stoop so low as to trick people into writing free articles for my website. A very few you did well, and those are the guys I'll continue with. |
New007:Yes, I deleted the workspace because over 95% of applicants decided to write and submit garbage without even reading the instructions. I see why most freelance writers in Nigeria fail. |
New007:I'm currently vetting applicants. If you haven't received an invitation from me on Google Chat, I'll send out another batch of emails after screening the current applicants. Most aren't good at all. Only about about 2 or 3 out of 10 applicants meet the required standards, and I need about 10 - 15. When it's your turn, please understand the instructions and ask questions where you are confused before starting to write. |
Thaheer:Yes, but your reply will be delayed because I'm already screening current applicants. If you are a good writer, go ahead and send in your email application. |
Richnero:Send any sample written by you, including published articles and blog posts. |
matete247:I have and will reply to all of you. |
flames007:Thank you. I'll reply to ALL emails by Friday this week. It's a very busy week but I should wrap up the recruitment process before weekend. My thanks to all those who applied. I'll reply to each and every one even if the person fails to meet the job's requirements. |
Determinedbobo:I don't like WhatsApp cos it's too invasive. Requires phone login all the time. I typically use Google Chat. |
Boluwatife101:The email is correct. Several writers have contacted me successfully. You need to copy the email and delete the gap "before" and "after" @. then replace [dot] with a period (full stop). |
aylive02:I answered his question. Just incase it might cool your mind, here's a screenshot of one of the invoices they paid for guest posting on my website. I haven't any doubt that this project is already a success. I just need to increase my website's monthly visits to start working on these guest post articles. Mind you, this invoice is just for posing a 700-word article on my website. They wrote the article, not me. This price increases with increase in website traffic.

Kul3ger:You'll learn more about me and the project when you get in touch. Ask all questions via email. I'll provide all the proofs you need. This SEO agency is already paying me for guest posting, but will only release bulk content jobs when I hit a certain monthly volume. I operate in their type of industry (VPNs, Money Transfers, Crypto, and Financial QAs) Nothing will go wrong because we already have an agreement. My monthly volume is the only barrier now. Besides, even income from my affiliate marketing alone will take care of these writers if not for other website projects I'm trying to round up by October ending. I won't commit to an earlier date for compensation cos I don't want to fail anyone. 30th October is the date I'm confident they'll all get paid in full. Thanks for your observation. |
Papygwan:I outlined that this job isn't for someone in need of urgent cash. You can be working on other projects that pay immediate and still work on this one, provided you commit to the 10k words per month minimum. It may not pay until October 30th, but when it does, it'll pay much better than the crappy jobs I see on Nairaland often. Considering that you'll get enough articles to work on every month, I think this is one of the few golden opportunities writers can find on Nairaland. That's one the reason I'll give these writers N10/word. Because they invest time and effort in this project. I'll treat them like partners, not employees. And it's from these early writers that I'll pick my editors and proofreaders, as a reward for their trust. I can pay all writers right away, but I'm running much bigger online projects that are sucking a good portion of my income. The pay date isn't too long - just about a month and two weeks away. |
Hello Nairlanders I need writers! This job will eventually pay up to ten naira per word (N10/w) for the right people, so read carefully. However, we'll start from N5/word for everyone. I really hate the greedy lots on Nairaland who receive well-paid jobs from foreign clients but are TOO STINGY to pay writers even N5/word. I really hate you guys with passion and pray that the money you make off the sweat of these writers you exploit will have NO blessing in your lives whatsoever. I wish I could provide enough jobs for every writer on this platform. So that you two-faced greedy rattle snakes are forced to look elsewhere for your slave labor. That said, let's get back to business Recently I was contacted by a Lithuanian SEO agency looking to guest post on my website and willing to pay handsome $$$ for it. After some haggling the agent greed to pay more than I expected. This is an SEO agency that usually needs plenty of content for its clients' SEO campaigns. Their agent told me they work with different webmasters and would like to have a long-term cooperation with me. I agreed, but on the condition that I write the articles myself, which means they'll pay for my writing and for guest posting. The agent agreed, but on the condition that I reach a certain monthly volume. My website is currently charging its way to Google's first page for most keywords. If I can publish a couple dozen articles in the next three weeks, I will hit the required volume to start receiving plenty of content jobs from these guys. However, I need the service of writers to reach that volume within next month. This is where you come in. I'm already earning from affiliate marketing, but I want to introduce new earning streams. Specifically, I'm about to join Google's Ad network and contract with the SEO agency I told you about. I want to get into a contract with a couple writers. This is going to be a long term relationship for all of us and will pay well in the long-term. But you should expect your first pay on or before October 30th. This job is not someone who's is need of urgent cash. It is for someone who can wait until the end of October, after which your pay will come on a weekly basis (Ten naira per word). Your first 10 writing assignments will be paid at N5/word. Then every month, I'll increase 1 naira until it reaches N10/word. But only good writers will be paid this rate. However, no writer receives below N5/word. Don't worry about getting paid. Even my current earnings will be enough to pay you all if not because I'm running other website projects. But by October ending, I should receive enough income to pay all my writers, run my online projects, and still retain enough money to lead a comfortable life. If you have been looking for a Nigerian client that pays well and will provide steady jobs, you just found the right opportunity. I have good intention and lots of good surprises for my writers, which I won't mention here. But one thing is certain: each and every one of you will be happy working with me. So what are my requirements? 1. Strict adherence to instructions 2. In-depth research 3. Good grammar 4. At least 10K words monthly 5. Zero plagiarism or fluff 6. Meeting datelines 7. Fluent writing Send your best sample (just one) to ppcasher89 @ gmail [dot] com If I like it, you'll hear from me within the week. Despite the samples, your first job is your test. This position will pay handsomely in the long run and provide enough writing jobs for you every month. To cool your minds, here's an example of a paid invoice from this agency for 700-word guest post on my website. Mind you, I didn't write the article. They did. This invoice is just for posting it on my website. When I start writing their articles, the pay will be much higher.

Sorry, I no longer offer this course. |
chatinent:Are you f***king kidding me? A PVC for a freelance writing job! Sounds more like you want people's IDs for some nefarious online stuff. If you don't want your writers using pennames, how about requesting that their penname matches the account name? It's not as if people cannot send you the wrong IDs. Suppose a good candidate doesn't have a PVC? I guess you'll both lose out. This is the most ridiculous of all requirements I've read for freelancing jobs anywhere. Goodluck though. |
