Corruption is the bane of this country. We should be using speed train by now.

Imagine the first train route in Nigeria was completed in 1898. Lagos - Kano started operating in 1927. Railway was built by colonialist to aid export of raw materials.
Many decades after independence, we are yet to design a route and maintain our railway system that can serve our national interest.
I wish the colonialist stayed longer till 2000. We would have been better off.

We need stiffer penalties for crimes in Nigeria. Sometimes the penalties are well spelt out but the enforcement is at best discouraging.
A just and transparent judiciary is indispensable in building a sane society.
