Corruption is the bane of this country. We should be using speed train by now.

Imagine the first train route in Nigeria was completed in 1898. Lagos - Kano started operating in 1927. Railway was built by colonialist to aid export of raw materials.
Many decades after independence, we are yet to design a route and maintain our railway system that can serve our national interest.
I wish the colonialist stayed longer till 2000. We would have been better off.

We need stiffer penalties for crimes in Nigeria. Sometimes the penalties are well spelt out but the enforcement is at best discouraging.
A just and transparent judiciary is indispensable in building a sane society.
Once few guilty individuals are sent to the gallows, crime will reduce considerably.

We need to do more to prevent fire outbreaks in Nigeria.
1. Our building code need to be revised.
2. Aside this fire services need to be strategically located to respond appropriately.
3. Proper investigation must be carried to verify the cause of the outbreak. People get richer when government buildings are burnt. Evidences are destroyed and money will be allocated for restoration/reconstruction.
