God entered into covenant relationship with Noah for the new world that would be formed. God saw righteousness in him. Noah was just, perfect and walked with God. The old world has collapsed by iniquity; a new world was to be formed after the flood.Genesis 17: 1 – 8;
Human beings frequently get corrupted. God got another man after the flood. He was looking for a man and found him in Abraham. Abraham believed God and the Lord counted it righteousness for him.
I will multiply a new set of people from you that will know righteousness. I will cause you to be fruitful unto righteousness. Nations of people will come out of you. The righteousness shall spread from nations to nations.
Give me perfection and holiness and I will do the work. God will do the multiplication by Himself. He will give the land of Canaan (Heaven) to them for an everlasting possession. God requires righteousness and holiness from us to give us Heaven;

God builds scents into fruits and animals to show their respective peculiarity. If your body odour is unnatural, it is rather sickness. You need medical counsel or prayer from Pastors. But perfumes can be used on properties or things like offices, hospital, toilets etc.
Mary's anointing of Jesus was prophetic of His death. Use of powder as an item of beauty and attraction is sinful. The Christian woman should avoid that. The glory of the Lord is what you should look for. To use powder at home for medication or heat is not an offence.

GOD'S REBUKE TO BLIND PASTORS


"Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pastures! Saith the LORD. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold I will visit upon the evil of your doings, saith the LORD" (Jeremiah 23:1, 2).
God cursed the blind pastors! He said "Woe be unto the pastors..." Woe means "curse or frustration".
This generation is the worst generation!
Churches has forgotten his coming back again, his holy Word, his holiness and judgments. What many churches are doing now has nothing to do with the hope of his imminent return, they go to church to sing and dance, they go to church to find new friends, they go to church to find life partners, they go to church to see beautiful matured ladies ready for marriage, they go to church to be helped financially; not to seek God, not to repent of their sins, not to forsake the world, not to accept the saving Christ, not to be crucified to the world, not to be like Jesus!
And these churches, these dead churches; the Laodicean kind of churches have pastors who are in charge of those places. They seat idle doing nothing to keep the flock of God holy and to preserve and present them blameless and spotless at his coming.
Just like Ahab, who allowed his wife to destroy him, they allowed those Jezebels among them to seduce God's people with false miracles and dreams! The Lord rebuke you!
Change! If you allow those women to dress as they want, your hell fire will be worst than theirs! If you don't arise to cleanse your church from immoralities, from worldliness, the Lord will descend with judgment and it will start from you and your family, you won't escape! Because you're like a dog that cannot bark!
You see evil going on in the church, women coming to church with tight skirts, show breast, show backs, trousers and bun-shorts and they will dance, shake their buttocks and breast in the name of "make a joyful noise...", and immoralities are practically committed, youths hug themselves, kiss themselves, befriend opposite sex and you're aware of these great wickedness going on and say nothing? "He is God, let him do that which seemeth good in his sight..." Just like Eli? You will see hell, your judgement will be terrible!

That is why the Bible says, Get away from the presence of the foolish man when, you do not perceive in him the lips of knowledge (Proverbs 14:7).
Do not pay attention or listen to him when he wants to give you explanation. Why are you listening to explanation from a liar? Do you not know his sin? Don't you know his lies? By the time he speaks one, two or three words, you did not detect the devil in him?
When you allow him to say all, his poison will penetrating into you and you will not escape because they tell lies with the power of Satan. Otherwise, with your fear of God, how did this man that you know so well as a sinner succeeded in getting you out of the presence of God?

Take enough time, sit down and reason with him or her by opening scriptures and explaining. Paul did so and got people converted to Jesus. As you do so time after time, you will get that religious man born again.
Acts 17:10,12
10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
Friendship Evangelism: This is evangelism by loving actions and good deeds. You may give nice things like gift items, speaking kind words, rendering help or assistance to someone; by this, you are developing friendship with that person with the aim of leading him/her to Christ.
Remember you are not to be unequally yoked with sinners. So, apply wisdom (2 Corinthians 6:14), Proverbs 18:24.
Evangelism By Letter: This was one of the key methods of evangelism in New Testament era. With this, we have the major portion of the New Testament Bible.
You may write letters to your brothers, sisters, relations, friends and acquaintances, passing the gospel message to them. You can write or make someone else to write evangelical letter to your husband, wife, child, or boss. Write gospel letters. People will read and keep on reading them to their salvation and establishment. Luke 1:1-4.
Evangelism Through Recorded Messages On CDs/DVDs: There are many electronic devices for recording speeches for transmission to others. These include CDs, VCDs, DVDs, Memory cards, to mention a few. Gospel messages are preserved by these means and are easily transferrable. 1 Corinthians 9: 20-22.

Is it wrong to worship God on the sabbath day?

It is not wrong to worship God on the sabbath day. Christian are required to set apart a day when they gather together to worship. Hebrews 10:25. Whichever day this is, it is left to the choice of the individual, Romans 14:5. However, each person must ensure they set apart a day every week for worship.

TOPIC: KEEPING THE FAITH IN THE HEAVENLY RACE SUNDAY 6TH MARCH


TEXT: Luke 14: 28-30

Key verse: John 19: 30 "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."

Paul was mindful in the Christian race and finished his course. He ran till he arrived at the conclusion. What mattered most to him was his keeping the faith. It is keeping the faith that actually brought him reward.
Many went into the course but never finished the race. Many finished the race but never kept the faith nor observed the rule of the race. They may run, finish but never observe the principles governing the race.
Do not only run the race but finish by keeping the faith lest you run in vain. Do you know the principle in the race and how to run it to the end? The angel told Elijah to rise and eat more. This he did and gained extra energy to cover the distance involved in his race.
1 Corinthians 9: 27 "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."
The race could be finished but the rules not observed. Therefore run the race and keep the standard for a reward ending.
Many people don't bother about the thoroughness of the race neither are they looking for perfection of life in the race. Know that you can finish the course and yet without success at the end.
1 Timothy 4: 12-16
12 "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee." Give wholesome attendance to them lest you run the race amiss.
Be careful, be diligent and humble yourself before the Almighty God, continue in these things, for it is in doing these, that your race will be guaranteed. Else, you will be busy gathering a congregation that will not enter heaven.
Jesus Christ was the greatest man on the earth; He ran the race; finished the course and kept the faith. He finished well. You too can finish well.
John 19: 30 "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."
Jesus did not finish the course with burden and regrets; He finished with edification. He finished with the faith. He kept the rule of the faith. He got the rewards. The final end of Jesus is the best end of mankind. He gave the best benefit to mankind.

HONOUR GOD WITH YOUR BODY

THE LOVE OF GOD
THE ROOT OF TRUE HOLINESS


Paul the Apostle said "The love of money is the root of all evil". Well, I quote also "The love of God is the root of all True Holiness".
The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts deeply when we are cleansed from sin. The love of God that melts sin from the heart, the love that conquers pride and exalts Christ as not only the Savior of the Christian, but also the Lord of all.
The greatest commandments is "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy mind and with all thy might"
Many of those who profess Christianity lacks this love in their hearts! They struggle with their holiness as if they were forced into it. There's no smoothness of love, no smoothness of peace and joy in the holy ghost. They just struggle within themselves: no joy, no peace, no inward happiness, no calmness, no resignation...
Alas! This love of God is dead in you! Christianity is smooth inwardly, because the threatening carnality, that inward rottenness is cleansed out from the heart. Temptations is no more inwardly, but outwardly. Although Satan brings suggestions of sins, but the believer rejects and resists him steadfastly in the faith.
The love of God conquers all our will. All selfishness and carnal desires are no more within, the believer is emptied of sin and it's desires and filled with fire and love made perfect. This is all that the experience of Sanctification can achieve in a believer.
Effectual fervent prayer for Sanctification will bring all this heavenly blessings in the soul. Have you prayed for Sanctification? Do you love the Lord? Are there no resistance to that love in your heart?
Check well.
The love of my neighbors... The practical evidence of inward pouring of God's love in the soul. Love your neighbors, not just your neighbors alone, it extends to your worst enemy. How do you want people to treat you?
Do the same to your enemies... Love him, feed him, give him and withhold not your hands from him that would borrow from thee. My brethren, this is what it means to be a believer.
Do you have a pure heart, are you crucified? Does the world fascinates you? Are you dead in sin and alive unto God? Have you really denied self and takes up the cross to follow him that loves and died for you?
Holiness is possible, the love of God can prevail in you, if only you will cry and pray for purity of heart! Purge me, O Lord. Create in me a clean heart and a new spirit

TEXT: DANIEL 4:30-32

KEY VERSE: Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Satan is the originator of pride. He brought pride into the world and by pride destroyed mankind in the world. Pride is the father of all sins, as the devil is the father of all sinners. Pride first begins in the heart, then later manifests in the words, looks and actions. How did this pride originate in Satan?
Isaiah 14:13-14
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
In our lesson text, before the king spoke of his great achievements, he had thought about it in his heart. For the scriptures says, “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”
Daniel 4:30-32
30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
31 While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.
32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
The proud man sees himself great, important and better than others’ and because of pride in his heart, he looks down on others. He exaggerates his personality and practically lies to earn more honour, respect and recognition of men. He envies those who are better, greater, higher and intelligent than him.
The proud man celebrates his achievement greatly without regarding God.He announces his good deeds for human recognition and praise. Be careful, because pride will remove God's presence and glory from you. Pride will destroy all the goodly properties in your life and will damn you to a everlasting hell fire. Go to God in prayer to save you from pride and make you humble.

In today’s text, you are admonished to walk worthy of the ministry you have received and have been called into. Inform yourself as a minister of God that many eyes are upon you and that many others around you are putting their confidence on you.
Knowing this as a minister, you are to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called. Now that God has called you unto His holiness to be like Him in Holiness Revival Movement, you have wholesome responsibility to ensuring that you work worthy of the grace the Lord has given you.
See yourself as most privileged to hear from God what others have not heard. To walk acceptably with God in ministry, ensure to do the following:Maintain holiness of life in your calling. What gives worthiness to your calling in ministry is holiness of life.
Know that as a minister, there must be first the Christian life before the Christian ministry. How are you living your Christian life? Do you accommodate sin in your Christian practice? You need to check-up and examine your life well before embarking on Christian ministry lest you end up rendering service that is unacceptable to God like Cain.
When holiness of life does not precede your service to God, He will not value your work because sin is in it. Therefore, ensure you examine your life always before God. Examine yourself, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own self. Know ye not your own selves, how Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobate? 2 Corinthians 13: 5
Know that Christian character in ministry is integrity. Job in his ordeal advised on the restrain of the tongue. He said as long as he is alive, his lips shall not speak wickedly against men or God. He will not speak boastful words.
The man under the fire of accusation by his wife and attack of his friends said his tongue will not speak wickedly or deceitfully. The position of Job is not prominent in our time. Many Christians in our days use their tongues any how because they believe it is theirs.
Rachael knew she stole the gods of her father and yet covered up her action with lies. Are you sitting upon a lie in your Christian practice as Rachael? Is there no lie you have told or still protecting? If you are doing so, you will need more lies to cover a lie.
Have you told your spouse or children lie? If you are living in lies or deceits, is it not worse than exempting from jewellery? Let the wicked forsake his ways and the unrighteous his thoughts. Go and carry out restitution your lies and unfaithfulness to God if you want to give meaning to your Christian life and ministry. Go and confess.
