Where selection is based on merit and not nepotism or tribalism, SE will always win. |
LegendHero:He should resign. The primary function of government is to secure the lives and property of its citizens. He has failed woefully. |
Below is the tweet from Donald Trump as he reacts to the bombing in Borno State.

From all indications, if urgent actions are not taken against insecurity by Islamic jihadists, the US might start full military operations in Nigeria.

We are in a democracy, and people are free to support any political party. However, using derogatory language against your own ethnic group to gain favor is unacceptable. Listen to some speeches that day,it's clear that some individuals prioritize personal gain over tribal loyalty. It's very common among SE people in APC, unlike other regions. They should support whoever they wish without disparaging their own people. |
[quote author=bestman09 post=138767732]Our Weapons are the most powerful and sophisticated that the World has ever known but, for reasons of decency, I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island. However, should Iran, or anyone else, do anything to interfere with the Free and Safe Passage of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision. Iran has NO ability to defend anything that we want to attack — There is nothing they can do about it! Iran should respect who pass them.[/quote Thatz some balls... Power is Power. |
You guys are overstepping with this content nonsense. Using a serious issue like this just for clicks is insensitive. If the Catholic Church takes action against you, you'll likely face consequences. |
We all know what played out during that interview. When I rewatched that interview, a lot of things were going through my mind. 1. Al Jazeera being an international TV station with a very large coverage and audience, how will the whole world look at us Nigerians? 2. Is this the type of people Nigerians allowed to be ruling them, and they expect things to work in the country? 3. Why can't citizens stand up and demand good governance by electing better people? 4. Are Nigerians defeated people or just being held in bondage by tribalism and religion? 5. When are we going to get things right? The rest of the world is practically leaving us behind. That interview was a big disgrace. |
lightwind:Especially that moderator that starts with M......4 that one is pure APC card carrying member |
spiceadole:Why won't the marriage be the same again? Did he do anything wrong? You guys did medical tests like Genotype and other tests before marriage; why didn't you trust him enough to proceed with the marriage without the test? Doing a DNA test might unravel other things, like child switching during birth, in which case both parents will be negative. |
Afghanistan has 'legalised' domestic violence in a troubling crackdown on women's rights. A new 90-page penal code introduced by the Taliban allows husbands to physically punish their wives and children - as long as the abuse does not result in "broken bones or open wounds". Under the new laws, a husband faces a maximum of just 15 days in prison in cases of "obscene force", such as visible fractures or injuries. Convictions will be sought only if the wife can successfully prove the abuse in court. A married woman can also now be jailed for up to three months if she visits her relatives without her husband's explicit permission. The law uses language effectively treating wives as the "property" or "slaves" of their husbands, and strips away vital protections, such as the 2009 law on the Elimination of Violence Against Women (EVAW), which was introduced during the previous US-backed regime. Campaigners from exiled Afghan human rights group Rawadari, who obtained a copy of the Taliban's new penal code, warned in a statement that it would legitimise the "abuse, maltreatment, and punishment" of women and children - and expose them to "continued domestic violence". Its new limits on women's rights to see their families also removes one of the few protections available in a country where there are few "formal and legal remedies", they added. Rawadari demanded the "immediate halt of the implementation of the criminal procedure code" by the Taliban courts, and called for the international community, the United Nations, and "other relevant international bodies" to "utilise all legal instruments" to prevent it coming into force. Great100000:None.. Andrés Iniesta "El Magico" I sight you. |
Yea. Get Rich or Die Trying......... |
He isn't far from the truth. Sometimes you'll even see people in the opposition attacking themselves. Like Sowore attacking PO or attacking AA. With the daily events happening in Nigeria recently, a strong opposition could've roasted this APC government and their cohorts. |
BlackViper:She just wasted money for her parents. It's 2026 and you're reading a Mickey Mouse degree. |
SuperSupremo:Legendhero Beerfraud Peterobiisathie Timemanager Ttalk Food is ready. |
After some days, the APC government will say that the meeting was held in Aba with some Ariaria Market union officials. |
Omenlon:I don't usually engage with most people here because they lack exposure, but I'll make an exception for you. In serious countries, no individual is allowed to do such things without a valid construction license and a fully registered company. You can only volunteer with organizations like the Red Cross or British Heart Foundation for simple community issues, like picking litter and other similar roles. This type of work is done by the council or other relevant government bodies, which is why you pay taxes! You guys are so used to bad government and misrule that most of your reasoning is upside down |
ghettowriter:Black man with a black brain. What is the work of government then? Why are they collecting extra tax? |
Nobody should listen to the hogwash OP is saying. The 3 basic needs in life are food, water, and shelter. By shelter, it means a house, and by house, it means land. His excuse for calling land a bad investment is just because of war useless logic. During war, your own life isn't even guaranteed. Buy as many as you can afford once it's genuine and preferably in your region or state. |
Story. They found out that sane Nigerians quickly debunked the useless propaganda. We are waiting for you guys. Enough of the nonsense. |
9 million dollars working tight. Anyway, APC knows that most Nigerians are blinded by tribalism and many are also illiterate. Anyone who believes that a whole US government will act based on intel from a common trader should have his head checked. Just take a look at what APC has reduced Nigeria to. You f@@ls think that everyone in Nigeria is a 🤡like your supporters. Honestly, this country is so messed up that if we continue with this type of mentality, even in the next 500 years nothing will ever work. |

ElSudani:Can’t you read? Didn’t you see where he said he has done a DNA test four times and he wasn’t her father. |
IzunnaOkafor:Then why are you calling it a rescue when the victim escaped from the kidnappers? You can’t rescue a victim without killing the kidnappers or arresting them. Any information that doesn’t include those details isn’t a rescue. |
mikeapollo:Do you think he cares about that? Their own definition of patriotism is supporting every dumb policy from their ethnic president. Forgetting that patriotism means supporting your "country" against any aggression or bad policy, whether foreign or domestic. |
SisterAnn:All is fair in war and love ![]() |
Segunbabba:This is so funny that I forgot to laugh. Re..tards—I don’t blame you; we have more mad men like you in Nigeria who support and cheer you on, f@@ls. 141 million Nigerians will face acute hunger and poverty before the end of 2026, and there is no single policy on the ground to tackle these issues that need urgent attention. Your principal is nowhere to be found. All you nitwits discuss every day is PO. |
Lanretoye:🤡 You have changed your mouth fast, fast. You guys supported Buhari’s APC and every single devilish policy he gave Nigerians during his tenure. The day Nigerians do away with tribalists like you guys that have held the country down for years now—that is when redemption will come. |
