silicon: Guys am at a loss. I scored 50 in the test and till now I have not been called for interview. I applied for assistant lecturer in the department of chemical engineering. kindly advise I think the reason for this is that a lot of people who applied for Asst Lecturer ChE did well. Hence, the cut off was increased, to limit the no interviewed to an accepted level. You don't want to interview 50 people for that one position. |

Anyway it's like I sounded too straight forward in that comment, for u to come up with this analysis I'm wondering to what word you have referred to as grammar. There's no word in his comment that's of higher quality than a Secondary School Certificate holder should use in his/her everyday communications. |

dway4ward: Good day Nigeria LNG management team, I am a candidate in the ongoing graduate recruitment and candidly my words herein surely reverberates the intentions of most of the candidates. I do accept the market is unfavorable with the low gas prices and the policy direction of the nation is uncertain with no economic team in place and the FID for train 7 unsigned. These and few more obstacles unknown to me affect the recruitment process. I have grown to truly love the company Nigeria LNG limited, with all the strides made and obstacles overcome in its history; and the premium value the company places on its people and stakeholders. I personally burnt all bridges to push myself to be the best candidate if you needed to select just one and I believe my name rests at the top. Having had my interview in June, my heart skips beats once mails drop and this isn't healthy for me. On behalf of all the candidates, kindly get back to us with the results of the interviews to enable us get our heads in the zone quick; given that many of us have truly put backup options on the back-burner. We will appreciate a notification of the outcomes today even if resumption is hypothetically 3rd quarter next year. Thank you for the opportunity to join up with the premier team of professionals in Nigeria. Together we will build strategies to make Nigeria top 5 producers of gas in the world.
Kind Regards Graduate Applicants
PS: We are all available for immediate starts. You started with "I" shouldn't your closing be "Graduate Applicant"? |

Hearme: This must be an advert by jobberman. That research work is faulty. Those in the civil service can never occupy that position. I guess the distribution of the employed respondents are not judge mentally well tilted. Some civil service companies are actually very nice places to work o. Don't try FIRS or NDIC o |

omogidi234: Hi, the first few posts have been yabs all the way. I have not read the rest which I belief must have given you valuable advice. Okay, you cannot blame anyone who yabs you- their thinking would be '' what is the essence of 'graduateeism' that is not bringing money for you over one year?'' Or better put what is the essence of your 'paali' after on year?
First and foremost, please tell your Aunt to allow you observe sales in the restaurant from 7 am to 7 pm. The essence of that is to enable you know that there are restaurants and there is restaurant.
I have not been to the one in GRA Ikeja but I have been to the one in VI a couple of times, all expenses paid by clients who asked me to meet him there. You need to see the ambience, the food, the reception, the caliber of people that go there, the type of cars. If you are still reading this thread and have not assumed duty you are 'on a long thing'- Dbanj.
The truth is if you took up that employment, you serve diligently and you impress customers, you may meet someone who will set you up for life. Jevinik is actually a very nice restaurant. Beautiful service, awesome food, nice ambience. I'd take a job there sha if it were me. |

This is one year now I finished my service and yet to find a job. Please advise me. You didn't have to think twice. Many employers will be pleased by your humility in accepting the job. |

prelinctus: I don't mean everybody generally. I was referring to those that are still involved in this recruitment. I don't think there's any unemployed person among those. How d'you think any such person would scale through the interview section of the AC? Boss, a graduate trainee position doesn't require experience na. If a person didn't have a job, he went through school, did NYSC, did extracurricular activities... all of which are avenues for grooming work related skills/abilities: team work, decision making, hardwork, etc |

prelinctus: Please, what d'you mean by the bolded? I was of the impression that nobody involved in this recruitment at this stage is still unemployed. I know someone with a 2.1, who finished serving (NYSC) in March 2010 but hasn't got a job yet. Things don't always go the way you think or expect. |

ddazz: I beg to differ..I believe d answer is six...
3 + 3 x 3 - 3 + 3 3 + (3 x 3) - (3 + 3) 3 + (9) - 3 - 3 3 + 9 - 6 = 6 E be like say you bypass primary school. Lemme restate your brackets: 3 + 3 x 3 - 3 + 3 3 + (3 x 3) - (3 - 3) 3 + (9) - 3 + 3 3 + 9 - 0 = 12 |
