Good day house, please i want to start the construction of my pen the proposed size is 25ft by 158ft with 2rows. I intend to use poles but not sure of the size of pole to use, also i want it to be 10ft high by the sides so what additional length will you advise i add to the 10ft because of the foundation, finally, how many doors will you advise i include in the plan. I know that the distance between two pens is twice the width of the pen house.
You may apply this and even add more distance depending on land availability. Ventilation and free of air is very key. Concrete, Earthen or Tank Fish Pond? The fish pond can be located behind the pen houses if its tank or concrete pond under a shade and a line of demarcation

Your fishes may still have the symptoms but they are well , you know the wounds may not go immediately , it goes with time ,important you have killed the bacteria or fungus causing the problem, once they are no more dying and eating well no cause for alarm CONGRATULATION AND HAPPY SELLING

Hmmm ok, your fish need serious treatment since the infection has been long , then your tarpaulin itself is infected , get the fish out completely put them in any comfortable tank with some water add anti stress or any good fish multivitamin to them , they sell them 500 naira per sachet , this will help booste there imune system, drain the water out completely from your infected pond , wash the tapaulin with formalin then rinse it and wash it again with salt water , please no soap , put your fish back ,add very little water that just cover there body add some otc and leave them for 2 to 3 hours then gradually increase there water . remember do not feed a day before you do this treatment., let us know how they are doing GOOD LUCK

Professor, thank you so much your medication worked just fine but i still have some with slight fin rot, some have reddish colour at the tip of their fins while some have some sort of wounds on their body what is your advise i plan to sell them off at the end of the 4th month. Thanks so much.

Pls. my fishes are 2 months plus and I use tarpaulin tanks but recently i discovered that almost every other day i will wake up to see one or two fishes dead i have treated twice with oxytetracycline & salt in the last two weeks but the situation seems to persist. Please can anyone advise me on what next to do? should i try formalin? Also, can i use ashes in a tarpaulin tank? Thank you all.

Thank you for asking, they look better but saw one today with white patch by the side of the head and recorded one mortality also. I change my water after 48 hrs since i stocked I don't know what the problem could be.
