Genius000: Sorry to hear you were rejected in the University of Regina.
You can send me your GP and research proposal, I can help you talk to my Professor in Process Systems Engineering. Hopefully, you can re-apply and be admitted in Winter.
(No guarantee please). I am not the admission committee.
Before you send me a PM, write the reason for the PM here and quote me. I receive so many PM's lately and can't respond to everyone.

wealth360: TO GOD BE THY GLORY. If you know that God's testimonies will never seize here and in your house hold please wherever you are help me praise the LORD. God did it this morning. I checked my CIC account and my heart was like gheghegheghegheghegh because I saw "A final decision has been made" check below. Gurus and everyone I could not scroll down for like 10min on till I gathered courage and behold I saw......Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details...... I just jump out of the office and hug the first person I saw and I started praising God. God is Awesome my people.
Lesson learnt is that, 1. first timer please endeavor to read past thread even when its lengthy try to read am as if you are jacking a course of 6 credit load. I did and it pays off now that I could seek for my admission and TRV myself with the help of God and The wonderful Gurus in the house.
2. After that please be sincere and have faith in God. Never think negative about your application. 3. Loads of Prayers and Fasting. as for me I fast every Tuesdays and pray with my wife everyday because it was on a Tuesday I submitted my TRV application.....Lol.

Snappyfingaz: I am in Saskatchewan. It is possible but it would take its toll on you. If your program allows you to work full-time during summers (and you're lucky enough to get summer jobs) and you cut down on expenses you can do it but trust me... It is difficult than it seems although not impossible. Hello bro, Good day. Nice to hear you are in Saskatchewan. Have just been admitted to Usask for fall intake so I need some important info from you. Have sent you a mail please reply me. Thanks man. |

Is2bEe: That will be great bro. However, do well to prove relationship with your uncle.. You can use documents like birth certificate, marriage certs etc to do this. Also include affidavit of sponsorship and letter of sponsorship from your uncle stating the reason(s) he's sponsoring you and how much he will make available for your studies in Canada.
All the best. Thanks man, we bear same surname so it won't be difficult proving he's my uncle. I appreciate. |

Is2bEe: Boss,
Please get co-sponsor(s) with verifiable income to show that they can fund your 2nd year. Pls dont make mistake of doing self sponsor for a two year program unless your account balance exceeds tuition fees + living expenses for the whole of the two years.
I was self sponsor for a two year master program last year and was bounced for insufficient fund.
If you have c-sponsors with you being the principal sponsor, it is enough if the combined account balance covers just the first year tuition + living expenses for one year. CIC don't encourage hustling to pay fees
Please be careful about this. Thanks man, I appreciate. I can get my uncle's account statement and add to mine that will definitely surpass the expenses for the 2 years for the visa sake but I know I will be on my own once I get there because he can only get me SOA but definitely not money that's why am thinking of survival in the second year. Hope you understand bro? |

kennynelcon: Congratulations... From what I heard, it's kinda hard to raise the whole fee from jobs, but someone from this forum got admission to USASk (Full funded ),when he resumed he still applied for another scholarship and was awarded. Keep hope Alive. Thanks bro. Please can you link me with the person in question so I can have one on one conversation with him? By God's grace I can afford the first year expenses myself but continuity is my major concern and if there are possibilities of getting scholarships once I get there I will gladly go for it. Thanks once again |

Good day gurus in the house.
I have been a silent follower of this thread for a long time.
I have just been admitted to the University of Saskatchewan for MASc degree in Chemical Engineering without funding for fall 2017 session.
Annual expenses is in the range of 20-25k CAD and its for 2 years.
Am self sponsored so i want to ask if i raise the money for the first year from here prior leaving will i be able to fund myself for the second year from hustling (Part time job) while studying?
Please a quick response from people with experience will be highly appreciated so i can take decision as regards the admission.
Thanks |
