the bold I have responded. Like I said there is something called independent verification, investigative journalism. The public declaration can be verified via those. The CCB declaration even at verification is never made public. Did you see that of GEJ or OBj? Did you see that of Amaechi, Atiku, Fashola etc? Whatever they do is for them.

Buhari should publicly declare so that we can do ours. Like I said the CCB isn't exclusive in verification. And should Buhari give us something separate from what he gives CCB, we shall invoke FOI to do comparism. If different, we shall keep it for record sake and drag him befor Code of Conduct Tribunal after he leaves power because that alone is a criminal offence.

I never expected Buhari to publicly declare his assets after barely 2 days in office and I still maintain my stand on verification of his Assets Declaration by CCB. There are actually more important things to now, if he doesn't do that in his first 100 days in Office, then I will personally fault him.

You might have to keep on opening these baseless threads if you expect Mr. President to publicly declare his assets barely 2 days in Office.

Just like what happened with INEC, they do go to your previous school to check if you have certificate or not, it is for individuals to do and make a report to INEC.

The same for CCB, once you fill your form, their duty is just to examine to see if you filled the form in order and give it a code number!. If Buhari needed time for the so-called evaluation, his spokesperson should have said so. There is nothing like verification.

Know also that GEJ will also declare his assets within 30 days of leaving office.

Bros, Asset Declarations are subject to VERIFICATION. It's in "block letter" on their Guidelines. If they arent, then what's the need?? I can fill whatever I like in my form since there's no verification process. I wonder how you guys think sometimes.

What is my business with Onyema? Is Onyema the constitution? According to the constitution, the CCB verifies and publish in government gazette. This means that the declaration has been accepted. Government gazette is not the same as MEDIA! All official documents whether classified or not are published in the gazzette. This has been the norm of CCB since 1999.

This is exactly the reason you're not making any sense. The Asset Declaration Forms of the two leaders have been accepted but have they been evaluated and verified?? This is what you've refused to tell us. I'm surprised it makes sense to you that PMB will just go public and start declaring his assets with no verification of his claims

From the Frequently Asked Questions on the CCB Official Website, this is what constitutes the verification and evaluation process.

How Does the CCB carry out it's verification process??
In three ways: First, is the examination that is carried out at the point of submitting the Assets Declaration Form. Second, is during individual or conference verification when documents are cited for authentication. Third, is field investigation when an officer goes to the field to see the houses, the landed properties, etc.

These men submitted their declaration forms barely two days ago. The verification processes above can't logically be completed in 2days. I suggest you take a chill pill. You can start your rants after Buhari has spent 100 days in office without publicly declaring his assets.
