Politics / Re: Wike Thinks About Me All The Time Even In His Toilet - Amaechi by Bossjosh: 9:08am On Dec 15, 2017
To be honest, Amaechi is the best civilian governor Rivers State has ever had. (best military goes to Alfred Diete-Spiff).

Amaechi's projects spoke for him. Agriculture, sports, education, health, roads, infrastructure and transport, etc. He employed the highest number of workers ever and sent so many rivers people abroad on scholarship (different levels).

What he did in the area of security marveled lots. He personally led and ensured that cultists, kidnappers, sea pirates and ritualists had it hot. For someone who inherited a very risky situation from Odili/Omehia, you just have to give it up to him.

Wike has not been able to do one-third of what this man did. Amaechi is the man. The people that complain about him and call him betrayal forgot he was pushed out from his party (PDP) & the structure was handed over to a certain minister while he (Amaechi) was still governor.

.They forgot how a certain Police Commissioner was sent to torture him and how mama peace publicly embarrassed him and won't let him rest.

Stop calling the man a betrayal. He had to fight for his life, career, family, security and of course his pocket.

Two term Speaker, Two term Governor and now a Minister. Give it up for Amaechi.

In as much as his action is highly commendable,I'll like to add that he didn't really have much of a choice.
He works in an organized country and in a company that has the database and information of all their workers so it would've been near impossible to get away with that.
Ones' environment really goes a long way in changing their behavior and influencing their actions,if he was still in Nigeria I'm sure his instincts will have told him to do otherwise grin except of course he happens to fall in the category of those very rare and genuine Nigerians.

Not true. That man can keep that money somewhere and continue working. There's no evidence to pin him down with. Not like there's CCTV installed in uber to monitor. It'd have been the passenger's word against his.

So learn to celebrate honesty and don't make it look like 'because it is an organized place'.

Nop thats not how it works. When bellif collect money, thay add thier own charges, you get paid you own money not the whole money collected. This is how 3rd party brokers work. There is nowhere in the World where a 3rd party broker/collector will remit 1005 to its principle.
If you do this then it penny wise pounds foolish cos you will incure more cost.
The only reasons govt of the worls contract money collection to 3rd parties is to cut cost.By employing Intel to do the collection the office that would do that on the part of the FG is dismissed therby saving cost.if Intel is to remit the whole money bck to the Fg the Fg would now need to re instate an office or people paid salaries to update, compute and pay back % due to intel which will come at a cost, work done O, hope you understand this goes beyound comon sense!

OKAY. I get you now

Can you own a company in England and not obey their laws?
What about France, Canada, Japan, China, USA or South Africa?

Use TSA but that fraudulent human called Atiku said no. He and his cronies wants to be cheating the country. If they want to leave, let them get out.

They want to hoodwink FG and find sympathy from gullible Nigerians.

Let them move to another country and try that nonsense their

Now they have created a thread to sing praises for his houseboy. SECONDus ko FIRSTus ni (Festus)

Why are Civil Defense and Police touching his casket?
He was a COAS for heaven's sake and the Soldiers are supposed to touch the casket of their former Boss.

I'm just thinking aloud!

I'm surprised o. A whole lieutenant general and former Chief of Army Staff. The minister for defence, all service chiefs and top officers coupled with other soldiers should have been there.

Where are his course mates? Officers not evens NCOs are to carry and inter a senior officer (talk more of former COAS).

Ojukwu's burial comes to mind

abbeynism:

This is not true bro!

The match is more of mental than physical. Ghana has qualified and it is even risky for them putting all their effort into that match because only 18 players are allowed by each team at this tournament. So Almost all the players that start the match are in their first 11.

Nigeria show much hunger and determination to win besides we are in total control of the game from the blast of the whistle to till the end.

Let's praise them when they do well. Biko! E Dakun, Mi Pa cho (Ghana).

Neither Ghana nor Nigeria is sure of final ticket o!. Senegal and Niger are strong sides that can beat any of the aforementioned.

UP EAGLES!

Well, I get your point. A 'Ghana VS Nigeria' final will be more appealing and will generate more funds.
Africa my Africa!!!

We all know what happened during halftime. Team directors met and arrangee followed. Moreover, we played a team that fielded their bench since they've already qualified.

Let's not celebrate yet.

Hmm!

Abia has never produced a reasonable governor. All the illustrious sons and daughters are just 'belle faced'. I don't care attitude is killing them.
Abians will troop out to support Biafra but will not come out to vote in someone credible.

Ikpeazu is just as useless as T.Orji. I pity Abia people.
See their roads, hospitals, schools, water and rural development, all POOR.

Despite all the federal allocations and state IGR yet zero. Even dead Kebbi state is now making the news for good things but as for Abia... Dead!!

Nigerian marriages sha. but OP, you shouldn't have generalized. And I think most of these traditions have been modified to reflect modern standards.

Some Igbo weddings are expensive yes, but have you seen/heard of Bonny, Okrika, Opobo or the Iya marriage rites of the Kalabari people all in Rivers State? Try them and see.

One question (Fulani marriage), "was Buhari or Indimi flogged before getting married?" grin grin

Eleven bathrooms? Four swimming pools? Are they trying to wash away the sins of the world?

Anyway, they still have neighbours and I can see a bigger grass tennis court somewhere with another neighbour having just a nice pool.

I can imagine the bragging stuff. Like "Hey Carter, you have four pools and I have one, pool is pool".
"you have hard court, I have grass court. Court is court"

grin grin grin grin
