@Oman, the only set of people temporarily evicted were those who just finished their NYSC in July because they didn't tell FBN before that time that they haven't finished there NYSC, but I heard they have been pardoned and they will join us(2nd batch) in training. We shall all get there in Jesus name.

Nigerians must rise up again! FG has drawn another battle line between herself and the helpless public, this is going to be another showdown between the Israelites(Nigerians) and Pharaoh(GEJ). But why? why?? why why is this government so callous and inhumane? Do we even need #5000 note at all especially in a Country where money laundering, looting and corruption is the order of the day? The worst thing that will ever befall the poor masses is to allow this government to implement this anti people policy again. They want to convert #5, #10 & #20 to coins...Oh my God!!! I don't want to start mentioning the implications this wrong policy will have on us all if we ever allow it to stand. My people, now the trumpet summons us again, not a call to bear arms though armed we are; not a call to battle, though embattled we be, but a call to fight this SATANIC AGENT called GOODLUCK, sent to Nigeria to torment us and destroy our the works of our fore fathers....ARISE NIGERIANSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!1

I'm happy that this thread has been brought back to live, I want to commend all the hopeful for their "never say die" spirit and I wish all your heart desire about this FBN job be brought to reality. I'm also waiting for the 2nd batch Training school come September ending as it has been confirmed to those presently at First contact in their letters that they will join other candidates for Training School by Sept ending. So, let's be optimistic and hopeful, I'm sure that though sorrow may last for the night, Joy comes in the morning. THIS IS MY TIME TO SHINE, SUCCESS WON'T ELUDE ME.

Fellow 2nd batch hopeful, it seems the waiting time is getting longer than usual, but I believe God knows best and I pray that our time won't elude us, nothing will halt our training by October by God's grace. I know we are still many that are waiting for the 2nd batch training apart from those already called for First contact job, so let keep our hope alive. WE SHALL GET THERE IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

Now I know that Mr. President is not capable of transforming this country, after a thorough job by a committee headed by a former CJN, GEJ still subject the approval of the report to another committee. I know after this new committee might have come up with their own report Jonathan will still refer it to the Senate and they too will set up another committee on it. All these redtapism are strategies by this government to shy away from responsibility and hold the country stagnant. Our President is incapacitated to lead us to our desirable position, it's better we begin to look else where for help...2015!!!

@Y2kola & Yem24, please are u all residing in Lagos? Because I feel those peeps FBN has selected for First contact might be residents of Lagos only, because of the remuneration stuff. Please help us find out when you get there.

@Y2Kola, thanks bro, you are really great. Hope your medicals went well? I hope I will be called among you guyz for first contact, although the lady said they are considering those invited for that purpose first, before others and you know my being their yesterday was to complete my pending documentation, all the same I know God is in control..see you there!

I just confirmed from a friend at the ongoing training that those who were ask to leave training school last week were people who just finished their NYSC last month, but they only shifted them to 2nd Batch, not permanent dismissal. If you also got any reliable info, pls share it. We shall all get there in Jesus name.

Please can somebody from the training school give the house some reliable information on what has been going on in the training school? Kaydegreat, Vivicate, cnwokike, deko23 and so on, why have you all forsaken us?

@Whizkid, It is good not to put all ones eggs into one basket, but we must not lose hope at all, there is every assurance that First bank will call us for training after the current batch. I think those in training presently shouldn't forget to update us of the happening especially those that pertains to the incoming batch. I'm so sure that God who has started this good work in my life will surely complete it Jesus name and it shall turn to testimony for me and everyone.

My own advice for everyone is to be prayerful and have our mindset towards the next batch training, don't let anything discourage us, whether what you see on this forum or what you heard from any source, just believe that nobody can receive anything except it is given from God. What I know is that God doesn't follow protocols to carry out his will and he is the maker and changer of every protocol...as for me, I believe and have faith that my place in FBN will not be substituted by anyone, God has confirmed it and nothing shall change it! I wish everyone well.

I've been there already so I know that 2nd batch is coming up in August/September and that WAEC CERTIFICATE is a MUST whether pass or fail FBN want to see it, but having said this, I know there is nothing impossible for God to do.

Thanks to everyone in this house, especially those who are curious to know what happens to me, although I don't know your intention for wanting to know how far about me, I still thank u for remembering me. I'm happy that the battle has been won already, though I'm not gonna join batch 1 again, but I'm fully set for batch 2 come September (as told by the HR). Nothing do me, In the past few days, I've been running around to complete my documentation because First bank won't allow anyone for training except u are certified with ur documentation, and I'm happy all is well now. WAITING FOR BATCH 2 BY GOD'S GRACE!

@ Godeyson, it's not true that FBN don't allow people without WAEC CERT, what they said was anybody who is using NECO cert must have done WAEC as well and they want to you to present it whether pass or fail doesn't matter. please read my former post on this.

Hello guyz, I did my documentation today, I even met kaydegreat...it was wonderful! Well we were given forms to fill after which we were asked to present our credentials one after the other, we were about 15 in number and it seems we could join the ongoing training sooner than later. Guyz, WAEC CERT is something important o, even if you fail it, they aren't only looking for age but they also want to confirm if you actually did waec in your acclaimed high school. We later went for medicals...I believe God is in control now cuz I'm waiting for training invitation any moment, I know nothing can stop me by God's grace.

@Kaydegreat, where is ur own venue, are we doing it at the same place?

HALLELUYAH OOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I also got invitation for documentation and medicals tomorrow at FBN Head office...I'm so happy...God I thank you, and I know you will never let me down.

Our problem is not GEJ alone, PDP is the problem of the entire Africa, not only Nigeria. That party is full of evil, selfish, monster, beasts and horror people. They don't have any good plan for Nigerians, all they do is to play politics with our lives to enrich themselves, imagine what Bamangar Tukur said this morning; praising Mr. President for his promise to probe into the cause of DANA plane crash, is he not expected to do more than that? If you look at the cases of mismanagement of public funds by past and present Governors and othe political office holders, PDP members have 99% of the people indicted. Jonathan himself don't seems to have any clue about how to govern, well I'm not surprised at his lackluster performance as the President because nothing tangible can be said about his achievements during his term as Ag Governor of Bayelsa State. Even before his election as the President, all we heard about him was how fortune always transfer him from a deputy/vice to the main MAN as he move from one stage to another in life till his present position, and this was why most Nigerians were blindfolded to vote for him with expectation that he might be Nigeria's long awaited Messiah, but after a year in the office with things drastically retrogressing rather than progressing, Nigerians might need have to look elsewhere for a true Leader come 2015.

Finally, we arrived and waited untill 4pm b4 they offer us our letters (to cover 4 d period of 4 months). Those that came outside Lagos was given an accomodation (believe me is more to imagination than i expected... I mean nice). FBN is to take care of feeding ranging from breakfast, breaktea, lunch and dinner. Sporting facilities was also said to be provided ofwhich they made compulsory in the sms invite that everyone must come with a sport wears. Training is to commence 2moro by 8am and expected to end by 6pm.

For those that did medicals and wasn't invited. The reason might span from common technical error from mgt or inconcurrence of documents provided like age or what-a-view.

The problem might also be from medicals cos a colleague i did medical with wasn't invited and when she came to find out why, she was told that the medical reads pregnancy for her. She insisted she aint pregnant unless what happened in Isaiah has happened to her. Finally she was asked to go to HQ to do confirmatory. Am yet to ask her the thereafter. Funny enough, I heard that a guy was mistakenly pened pregnant untill they sort it out...

Pls, my personal question which I want you to find out for me personally is this: I am 28 years old now! although I was 27 yrs + 8 months as at February as required by FBN that we must not be above 27, pls help me find out from ur guys at the training ground if there is anyone with the same issue, or better still please help me find out from any FBN staff u know so that I can know what to do now before we are called...pls do thorough investigation for me pls...I believe in God. 1) training school starts on wednesday next week
2) training school lasts for around 3 to 4 months
3) those who did medicals and documentation are currently waiting for a msg from fbn confirming them to start training
4) fbn is surely calling in batches....those dat have been contacted for medicals are batch 1 meaning theres surely a batch 2 but i dont know about a batch three
5) if u have received congrats message but not medicals msg you will surely be contacted for probably batch 2
6) if ur case is just update msg im totally unsure about it cos it seems a whole bunch of people got it but reason.....why would dey ask u to update ur profile if u wont be needed...there4 chances are dat u will be called even if its not second batch
7) during d medicals 4 batch 1 some ppl whr sent to batch 2 for failure to produce some necessary documents.ther4 dey wuld not start training skul wiv batch 1
from the past first bank have recruited up to abt three batches so u guys shuld be very hopeful
9) anxiety kills b4 d main thing so guys KEEP THE HOPE ALIVE.......if FBN does jam jam recruitment ull say dey are not organized, this might be deir own way of organising the tedious process however at the same time ill say FBN should remove suspense from the whole exercise......be easy guys dont 4get 170,000 wrote d test and u made it to the last 1,000s......

just relax, you will be contacted soon, just wait till d end of today and c wait happens, trainning school is not the end, you still have to work even harder but 99 out of 100 make it...get ready for d future, it will be a lot more tougher than whatever you have been through d difference is you ll get paid.

vivicatee: @eemmyy...God bless u real good..congrats to everyone starting training on wednesday...and to those still xpecting...ur expectation will never be cut short..one thing I strongly believe is wat God says is urs, no man can take it from u..so keep d hope alive, dnt be discouraged watever d outcome...am a living testimony to this..ave written close to 15 aptitude tests..gone for an interview dat I reached d final stage but wasn't invited for training..I got discouraged but kept applying for jobs and writing test and here I am today been admitted into fbn training skool..just don't give up cos u dnt knw wat God has in stock for u!! I will advise you to go to the training school today and hear what FBN have for you rather than stay back to hear from them frist.

cnwokike: Good morning peeps, I did my own medicals and documentation on wed 30th, the batch for 10:00 am but am yet to receive any invite for the training school. Does anyone have an idea of what's going on? Or will they still contact us today?

Congrats to those who will begin FBN training on Wednesday, I hope you guyz will keep furnishing this house with necessary information from time to time while we are waiting for the invitation of 2nd batch by the end of this month...GOD BE WITH US ALL!

@ deko24, basedc on what u saw at FBN so far, what can u say about persons who were 27+ some months as at february but now 28...did anything like age issue come up during ur documentation/medicals? anyone from batch 1 can also reply me pls. I need this info thanks

Guyz, lets wait till next week Wednesday and see if the training will start, then we would know who to believe. I personally called that number of FBN hr to confirm what will happen to those who received congratulatory SMS but yet to receive medical/documentation invitation and the lady told me that we should wait for our time that the medical/docs is in batches and we will be contacted as and when due. But I don't know what happens to those without any SMS o...till then!
