Iscoflexxman:
The truth about Awolowo's death, how and why he committed suicide [A] Obafemi Awolowo contested in 1983 for presidency but failed. He later died in 1987. [B] Assuming Awolowo was unhealthy, that means he would have died in his 4th year as president. [C] However, Awolowo contested because he was not sick and not too old, health-wise - he was healthy. [D] In 1987, he was questioned by IBB after evidence came out that he plotted to overthrow his government. [E] IBB gave Awolowo 3 options as punishment for the plot: Death by firing squad, Life imprisonment, or go on exile. [F] The Awolow family and friends pleaded for forgiveness to IBB,but he remained resolute and the please went on deaf ears. [F] Awolowo was later found dead in a room from an overdose in medications.
instead of you to go and read your book you are here posting rubbish, dead indeed.

What is FFK's source of information? Does he have better investigative capability than CNN? CNN is not obliged to find out every loudmouth's version of a story before reporting it.

Are Nigerians getting more shallow in their thinking or is blind hatred driving them to insanity?
honestly i have been thinking of that last question u ask for sometime now,i noticed that there is a massive decrease in most nigerians iq recently, people just go online to type rubbish, especially on political matters

i weep for this country, even the so call educated are not left out

It's would be a good change. You always hear Nigeria trying to call up these boys. What you never hear is that Nigeria developed them or built them up from the grassroots. Foreign countries give these players a chance to become proper footballers then we circle above them like vultures.
oga its the players that will still lose , nigeria is the one doing them favors, its not like they have a future with those countries

annoying result, right? The defence is nothing to write home about. I wonder why they didn't buy another defender when the deal for van dirk didn't materialise sad

I just hope the likes of klavan and gomez can withstand leicester in the double-header

We lost again cry sad
am i the only one that is tired of these klopp man, he seems to be doing nothing about the straight losses , being a good coach is more than just hugging players after every game

It's hard to imagine Liverpool fan and selling coutinho in one sentence. The way we are set up to play, we need Phil's creativity in the midfield. He'll progress a lot more this season than he's done so far in that no8 role. Add in the fact that selling him sends out a bad signal to other players in the squad and confirms our small club mentality. He should stay.

I think the set piece issue is more of a personnel thing than system. This should be addressed if we are able to get Van Dijk.

the issue is , if a player is keen on leaving the club let him leave because if you force him to stay he might not give you a 100% performance again

yes i know that he is the key player in the team but we cant keep a player who is not ready to play for the team again
Sports / Re: Thread For Liverpool Fans by boyo123(m): 10:45pm On Aug 20, 2017
i am a liverpool fan but i want them to sell coutinho and buy a player with a winning spirit, coutiho is sometimes the course of our loss expecially on those days when he will just be off which happens too often for me, the team is built around him them he should always be at hes best

also we need a number 9 , a striker who knows how to position himself, and scores 3 out of 5 chances , with those deliveries i saw from the new guy Robertson i believe the striker will be well feed from the wings , i still wonder why we didnt sign chicharito

a good defensive midfielder and a central defender is ok for the team

my opinion though

OP, reading your story i have to ask myself that hope am not the one that wrote this in my subconsciousness. i am also under pressure to get a visa and leave this country. I lost my job last year due to downsizing and i have tried some very small Businesses with what i had but at the end none is yielding, people owing me here and there. The economic environment is not friendly.

In all sincerity, i do not really keen about travelling out but what other options do i have left now, i am in my late thirty with a family and we all need to survive. The few companies that are employing make tougher their recruitment Process due to large, unprecedented number of people in the labour market, this make it a bit hard to get a job now. There is no hope in sight that things will get better any time soon.

Well, i am still trusting God on this before i take any decision.
hmmmm i dont even know what to say but just pray for Gods direction

but note that Gods directions doesnt come only in dreams and prophesies sometimes it comes through critical thinking and evaluation of your chances

I like your thinking faculty. Just like mine.

Take my case for example.

All my male cousins had gone to Dubai. And we are all Graduates oo. And we even have up to 2-3 hand work each Take me for example. Im a certified Mobile and computer Engineer both hard and software. And also an Integrated plumber both domestic and industrial, also a graduate of Economic

Same as all my cousin. We all had same hand work.

To be sincere with u. I have not for a once envy their life over there. They have been asking me to come.

So i started thinking. Leaving my business where im my own boss. Leaving all my professions and become a security guard in another mans land doesnt seems like an upgrade to me. Though im not very bouyant here. But i know future is bright.

Most people out there are not that making it Most of them engage in illegal activities. Dont ever be carried away with those sweet pictures and selfies they take in fine places. Dont be decieved

And if u have a Benin friend. It wont help matter. Those people dont believe they are human unless they travel out of naija.
gbam!! you have said it all bro

its not like am buoyant too but i just dont feel that travelling out of a thing

Op some people travel out and make it but some don't. Likewise in naija, some people are making it in nigeria but some are not. I am a firm believer in the saying that if something is not working for you try something else. All the same, follow your heart. Goodluck
thanks for your reply, i agree that some still make it out there but to be honest with you most dont , i have seen too many of them

if a particular job is not working for you here in nigeria why not try something else

its just crazy how some people make it seem like its the only way out

Recently i have been under lots of pressure from friends and family asking me to try and get a visa to leave the country, but i have declined

i understand that things are not well organised in this country but travelling out to me is like putting yourself in an uncertain situation , you don't even know what to expect when you get there

The most annoying for me is the fear of being denied a visa again after trying some years back

I will prefer to rather put my money into a small business here in Nigeria no matter how small and try to grow from there

At least i know some people that have travelled out of the country for years and when ever they come back home they still cant afford a house of their own, they stay with relatives that has never even been to Ghana before

What is your opinion on these nairalanders
