Guys please help me o. I have funded my BA. I am going to berlin. I booked category A cos I am going for masters. Almost 2 weeks now, I haven't received any date. School resume 16th September and that's what I indicated when booking. Please is there hope? I don't want to miss this resumption. Any idea on what to do?

In the confirmation mail, open the cancellation link you got, if it takes you to a page to verify cancellation just know it was registered, if it says appointment not found, rebook asap. Cheers

Can we category B people sue the consulate?

Exactly one month of booking under category B and no date yet, I can’t see properly again and my heart rate don drop. To Jesus be my glory if I don’t get a date soon na die and if I die you guys should go riot at the consulate for me

These people are truly messing with people’s emotions. The whole point of categories just doesn’t seem right considering how they give appointments. It’s not encouraging at all

. I strongly believe they’d rush dates on category B soon and if you cancel your date in cat B when you get a date just prepare for next year.

best thibg to do. I did so at some point, stay calm and still be checking up your mail randomly, pray too. I strongly believe things will fall in place.

Chief stop being childish about the whole thing, you were asked a simple question, remove the censored area of the sender and post the screenshot to make it easier for others who don’t think it’s authentic. Don’t be silly abeg

I strongly believe that category B will start getting appointments before next month and they’d have close dates especially for those leaving August and September.
Even in the mail they stated that a “long wait” will be the deciding factor for most CAT B applicants since they usually don’t show up for their interview.

I’d urge you all to exercise some patience, they’d surely give everyone an appointment. My thoughts tho. I applied since 20th May, I know others did earlier and are still waiting too. Think about it, has it not been only CAT A getting dates so far? Even other programs fall under B and they must have a reason for being strict with the categories during interviews. Fellas, prepare and pray while you wait don’t cause yourself some mental illness because of this.

General information.

I called the german embassy and the lady said category B is for 3rd class holders.

So if u are a B.Sc holder with at least 2.2, you should apply for category A.

Even though you are given admission in b.sc, u can apply for category A. Masters and Phd are only listed but it also includes b.sc provided u have a b.sc with at least 2.2.


Just a note to everyone waiting for category B appointment date.

bro am only trying to go for a course in line with my previous bachelors degree, just so i wont be viewed as a non-genuine student or it doesnt matter if i apply for something different from previous course? please any suggestion for a course with quicker processing? i have a bachelors in public admin and local govt

you can go for something different from your first defree as long ass you have a reason for that.

yo! I made this mistake last year, apply for something else that will give you an admission on time. Those courses are restricted and they give admission letter very late. Like around October/November or so

Anyone got appointment lately from cat B?

Guys I booked an appointment with cat B since 20th May and nothing yet till date. Like what the hell is going on? What sort of unfortunate people do we have at the consulate that can’t give out dates on time. Enrolment deadline is October ���‍♂️
