while you're at that . . .
Every where isn't dark nah. huh
On a lunar night, that white background wouldn't be visible at all. Without any light source, the environment would be extremely dark. And you wouldn't be able to take pictures of anything.

It is that dark during the day because the moon has no atmosphere to scatter light. This is simple physics.

actually most probably the phone marker are find a way of make the performance and power consume balance.
such as 5.5 HD resolution display, if they use 8MP pixel, the pic in the phone looks very fuzzy, and not clear, so in the flagship they choose 13MP to make the performance balcance.

and every cpu has different performance, every cpu the manuafacture will provide the referance capablity of each cpu, also the phone maker determined to choose which cpu, the power consums will not make too much big difference.
and also the cup useage mostly determined by the andorid OS and the app installed. maybe the higher spec of display and camera will takes much more cup usage, but the affect on power consumtion is limited.

here i will show you the MT6735 CPU capablility released in their offical website:
http://www.mediatek.com/en/products/mobile-communications/smartphone1/mt6735/

Features

ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit quad-core processor (1.5GHz)
ARM Mali-T720 GPU
Rel. 9, Cat. 4 LTE (FDD & TDD), DC-HSPA+, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000 1x/EVDO Rev. A, EDGE
802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0
13MP image signal-processor
1080p Full HD video recording and playback at 30fps

about the flag.

Clothing/fabric behaves like fluid when suspended.

In a low gravity. Vacuum like environment like the moon, a mere vibration from the pole would set the flag into behaving exactly the way it did. And since there is no air to conduct away the vibrations in form of sound, everything goes into the flag. However, on can see from later frames that the flag becomes stationary. In it's crumpled form. It freezes. This is because there is no air.

Notice when karmanaut replied you with "educate yourself." It was actually a hidden link. To wikipedia. Click on that sentence and you will get to wikipedia moon hoaxes article. Where you will find every single conspiracy theory ever proposed, and the proofs falsifying them.

The funniest of those theories is that the sky has no stars. grin grin grin what a joke.
All lunar landings of the moon actually happened during the lunar day. Have you ever seen stars during daytime on earth? cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy funny peeps.

And again why dah heck do you need the phone, it will only keep you connected to the same humans you don't want to live with anymore and you will keep interacting with them and sure of course you will still be worrying about the wars, conspiracies and bullshiits that will always pop up on your news feeds.

so you dont need the phone...

You are good to go!!! grin grin

You can still do it. . Last time i checked there are still vast untouched forests on earth, you can simply relocated and seclude yourself in one where you won't even have to worry about hearing an aeroplane fly over head. . Many people have done it and people are still doing it..Like the Bushmen of the kalahari don't even know what a cloth is..

You can grow your own foods, get water directly from natural water sources and the best part is you wouldn't need to witness or worry about any of the bullshiit human society comes with grin... Why not just try it and sop saying it grin

Maybe intel processor did very good job in smartphone, but if that's true why intel processor doesn't well used by all the phone marker?
as you konw, Qualcomm and Mediatek started to produce the processor since 2005, that time even don't have smartphone, the produce feature phone processor.

intel processor is a follower in mobilephone industry, in early days the high end processor market ocupied by Qualcomm, the middle and low market occupied by mediatek, they have no chance to win in the mobilephone processor industry.
so they start to choose some small brand phone maker to use their processor and provide very low rates. that's why you can see the ASUS to use it.

as far as i konw, no more than 10 phone marker use the intel processor including lenovo only very few product, and ASUS, and some small tablet maker.
have you tried these your so called 'small tablet maker' Have you ever tried an Intel based device? These devices are so better than the MTK based devices. They are new in the phone market and will sure be breaking grounds pretty soon.. an Intel dual core will perform better than an MTK quad core anytime.
Just watch out

ehehehe. grin johnydon22 has bigger ones. Trust me. cool
Anyway, all things being equal, the human population increases by a billion per half cenury, and this accelerates. So, unless Ebola evolves into an airborne form, cheesy I expect by the year 2500, the human population will exceed the 20billion mark. cool

By then, earth will be just a mother planet. People will be living on previously aforementioned celestial bodies. grin
Our only problem has always been the light speed barrier. Breaking that barrier will be as groundbreaking as the discovery of penicillin, or sails, or electricity, or computers. It will catapult the human race into the unimaginable future. We will be virtually UNSTOPPABLE. angry

History often repeats itself, you know. When Christopher Colombus arrived at america in the 1500's , he found civilizations there. Similarly in the future, when your grandson arrives on alpha cenutari B or one of the Keplers, he will most probably find a civilization there. wink

Either that or the aliens find us first. grin

Or it could be johnydon's grandson. grin
Hehehe.. don't you think breaking the speed of light barrier will bring unimaginable catastrophe to humans like every new invention does.. like you said, I think we are not yet ready for these ground breaking success.. we need to grow older, not even a millenium..

But believe me, I would love to leave earth someday and go where I won't have to worry about wars, global warming, conspiracies etc.. grin

My point, I don't wish to live with humans again..

back to this question about the "reduce the phone specs, I.e. display, camera quality, outputs etc.."
I will explain more as below:
1. except processor, the phone hardware comsumpt power , the fisrt is display, then the mobile signal modem chipset.
the camera doesn't affect the phone durable performance.

2. for the display. there are some
a. display size: the bigger, the consumpt more power.

b. resolution: the higher resolution means sharper and clearer, also means d consumpt more power.
the normal resolution of phone display is like that 2k, FHD, HD, FWVGA, WVGA, 2k is the highest resolution for this year, WVGA is lowest reslotion for smartphone.

c. display material, there are two dispaly catalogy LCD(TFT, TN,IPS,LTPS) and LED (AMOLED). that means AMOLED display consumpt less
power than LCD type display.

regarding to Gionee M5, they figured out that, so they choose to make the durable and high spec balance. so Gionee M5 they choose Super AMOLED display with HD resolution to acheive the comprehensive outstanding durable phones.
have you forgotten that the processor drives all functions on the phone from screen to output and input, browsing, music and so on, powers the ram too.. battery is the power station, the more worked out your processor, the more power it consumes,. Not that its the battery directly
Phones › Re: Gionee M5 Discussion Thread[HOT] by bqlekan(m): 12:34pm On Aug 30, 2015
Ryanxu:
actually i think you misunderstand the processor, for example intel processor is just strong in Computer industry but when they entered into phone processor industry, they can't reduce the power consumption. so that's why intel processor can't success as Qualcomm and MediaTek.

let me introduce Qualcomm and MediaTek for you. They are the well-known processor chipset maker. in early time of smartphone, Qualcomm market share is manily in the high-end peocessor like Snapdragon S800 series, like S800/S801, but when they high-end processor update to 64bit processor like S810/S820,they can't manage the processor with low power consumption with Octa core.
so that's why this year the flagship using Snapdragon S810 launched very late such as one plus 2, Oppo find 9(havn't luanched yet), because they faces the face high power consumption, and heating problem with Qualcomm S810. That's also the root reason of LG G4 use S808 not S810, because LG G4 would rather sacrifice some performance, prefer to launch their yearly flagship timely to hold the market share.

while Mediatek in the early time dedicate in middle to low end processor, they bulit in the Modem chipset together with Modem such as MT6572/MT6582/MT6589/MT6592/MT6597, so they made the R&grin costing low, some small phone maker also pleased to use mediatek chipset. but when the processor developed in 64bit and 4G time, Mediatek start to make high end processor such as Helio X10(MT6795)/Helio X20(MT6797), and also their middle end processor like MT6735/MT6752/MT6753. This new processor driving far less power consumption and greater efficiency.

here i can share d two company website for reference:
Qualcomm: http://www.qualcomm.co.uk/products/snapdragon/processors
Mediatek:http://heliox20.com/
I understand your point, but the fact that Intel is not a strong processor is a big lie.. Some ASUS ZenFone have been on this for long and are really doing well, maybe a bit below high end snapdragon, but definitely better than MTK. Come to think of it, does the T's and G's make use of these high end processors? If used? Are they not overworked? The problem lies with our phone manufacturers.. more reason Samsung and apple will forever be the best.

oh. Not on earth at all. grin
By then, we will have colonized the entire solar system.
The moon, mars, Jupiter's moons . . . even our own oceans. shocked

There will be so many humans that the scientific community will be equal to the entire human population today. Combine that with the artificial intelligence which is sure to be available then, we will break that barrier. And then we will take a nice trip to polaris, Pleiades, Sirius and cenutari . . . just to check if we've got pals.

Either we do that first, or they do. Either way, we can't do it now. We're too young. And so are they.
hehe, man, you've got big dreams ooo.. not in the next 20millenniums

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/science/space/5833633/Apollo-11-Moon-landing-conspiracy-theories-debunked.html
okay, thanks., lemme check..

Modified

When the astronauts are putting up the American flag it waves. There is no wind on the Moon.

The flag is held up by a horizontal bar and simply moves when it is unfurled and as the pole is being fixed into position by the astronauts. The flagpole is light, flexible aluminium and continues to vibrate after the astronauts let go, giving the impression of blowing in the wind.
Hehe cheesy I watched the video again and what was going on there ain't vibration.. yes, there was an horizontal pole on the flag, but the bottom corner of the flag was waving as if it was being blown by wind. kindly watch the first video again..

No stars are visible in the pictures taken by the Apollo astronauts from the surface of the Moon.

The Apollo landing takes place during lunar mornings, with the Sun shining brightly. The stars are not bright enough in this light to be captured in the photographs.
Watching the video again, all I saw was a dark lunar atmosphere, except morning on moon is dark.. we do see stars as early as 1 am in earth now

[quote]No blast crater is visible in the pictures taken of the lunar landing module.

The landing module touches down on solid rock, covered in a layer of fine lunar dust, so there is no reason why it would create a blast crater. Even if the ground were less solid, the amount of thrust being produced by the engines at the point of landing and take off is very low in comparison to a landing on Earth because of the relative lack of gravitational pull

4) The landing module weighs 17 tons and yet sits on top of the sand making no impression. Next to it astronauts’ footprints can be seen in the sand.

The layer of lunar dust is fairly thin, so the landing module sits on the solid rock. The dust, whilst blown away by the blast from the descent engines, quickly settles back on the ground and is under the astronauts when they begin their moonwalk.[\quote]

Everyone can see the joke these so called proof, the thrust from the ship is enough to displace the thin layered fine particles., and won't settle down on the same spot.

Make I just stop here I beg
