If your brain doesnt bend on this one, call me a fool.

This is the kind of thinking that caused the spread of Corona Virus in Wuhan.

Trust me.

I will never understand Nigerians on one hand complain about corruption but calls a public official who rejected such humongous amount of money a mumu.
True talk.

Nigerians are natural golddiggers. We look only at satisfying the now, and forget the long term distruction.

Of course I do. The way of doing things are changing. So don't think if a service is hold online that it will not be honored or prayers will not be answered by God. quote author=keystone123 post=89297181]

Look at what you are saying. Do you believe in God at all. change your thoughts.

This world is a market place we shall all return one day to give account of what we do either good or bad.. Think about that. The religious house were not close nor sensor can you see how people misbehave, if it now turn to online how bad will it became? What of people who will not have access to worship online?

Let us think before we talk. It is not compulsory respond to every message
Please dont bring religious talk to this.

Call me whatever you wish. Am a philosopher so...

This is reality. its for our own good

Yes, the virus could be contacted in the markets as well as churches.

But lets tell ourselves the truth.

You can survive without going to church in a whole month. But you cant survive hunger virus.

So the risk of going to markets and spurning churches is far much an easier decition to make inorder to curtail the spread of the virus.

Simple logic.

Politics / Re: US Vows To Monitor $32.8m COVID-19 Spending In Nigeria by Braindealer(f): 7:46pm On May 13, 2020
ChimaAdeoye:

America does not quite understand the words "Corruption" and "Nigeria" when they are in the same sentence. Nigeria will give them a 900-page document of trash and unnecessary "long-story", just to discourage accounting for the money. grin grin grin grin grin

I love the English word "Obfuscate" because it totally sums Nigerian government officials strategy to make sure that the more America looks, the less they see. If they seriously want to track how their money is spent by the FG. grin grin grin grin grin
Am very sure the would effectively monitor the fund.

COVID19 is a world wide pandemic. So every spending can easily be questioned rationaly.

And who will monitor theirs? African countries are being treated like puppet on a string and the leaders don't feel ashamed of exposing their questionable accountability at all level.
Am happy you know they have questionable accountability.

If it were you, wouldnt you monitor the funds?

Especialy when you need it to yield something that would be profitable for you too.

LOL! White saviour mentality! cheesy

The same U.S whose Black and Brown citizens are dying like chickens due to Covid-19

The same U.S that has over 1 million confirmed cases of the Covid-19

The same U.S that has recorded over 70,000 deaths due to Covid-19

See eh America, you better go and fix your Covid-19 infested country before you worry about what is going on in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

Can you imagine this nonsense? I have never seen a country with such low self esteem, always trying to act like there're better than other countries while many American citizens themselves live in abject poverty.

What the hell?!!

They are helping us finantialy cus they belive in us.

Thats respect no1

But they are also aware of our fantastic curruption. So they need to take safety precautions.

I dont blame them for monitoring the funds.

There must have been previous funds like dis that has been squanderd for them to take this action.

America is counting on US!
Politics / Re: US Vows To Monitor $32.8m COVID-19 Spending In Nigeria by Braindealer(f): 7:12pm On May 13, 2020
A decent way to insult us and remind ou of our curruption.

Even a third party country is monitering funds given to us.

What a shame.

Like when your mum gives you money, and she still monitos your spending it.

I think we sometimes have to draw a distinction between when a pastor/Imam gives a prophecy and when they speak as within their capacity as a citizen. It's unfortunate that in a bid to drive traffic people to ascribe all their words as prophecy even when they are just speaking like a normal human being. It is very instructive that we draw up this line
Exactly.

And that is the effect of power getting into ones head.
