Then there are the theories lol (this part if you have a nerdy partner you would really enjoy). what you called “filler” was actually important information. Giving ridiculous rates on a fund meant to last 30+ years makes no sense, especially in a country with galloping inflation. Imagine working for 35 years then one govt just wakes up and prints 40% of the total money supply, inflating away 30 years of your work. By retirement, your savings will be worth nothing less than a tissue paper.

I doubt there is any year, any PFA’ annual return beats inflation.
