Please what is the current rate of return for Stanbic mutual fund?
I can see 7.77% for Stanbic MMF vs 10.11% for FbnQuest MMF.

I am about to port from Stanbic MMF to FbnQ MMF. If you have any reason(s) why I shouldn’t, please speak now or forever hold your peace (don’t hold your peace, abeg talk oo lol)

I was thinking of gifting someone this same redmi 9c, now I have to reconsider. I know Techno/infinix is a no-no, never expected Redmi to have such an issue.
BusinessDo You Need A Painter? (Lagos) by brainhack(op): 11:13am On Sep 01, 2021
This painter did an excellent job for me, I promised to recommend him to as many people as possible.

He can also do POP, wall paper installation etc. He is honest, you can trust him to get the materials. For workmanship he would charge you heavy lol but he doesn’t hide anything, you would get a full cost/material breakdown and you would be rest assured that you are paying for a quality job.

He is based in Lagos (mainland), he is available for contract anywhere.

Prince - 09036573646

Please patronize him.

Finished Dorohedoro , 2days back, all I can say na OMO x1000.

The scene first shock me, I freeze like 10secs cause of the slicing and dicing like WTF!!!

Twas also funny. I also liked that it had just 12 episodes, no too much story, showed almost all the main actors story arc apart from nikiado. Issa 8/10 for me. Will pick another from this list.
Lool I thought Kaiman & Nikaido duo was the most ruthless, till Shin and Noi combo came in, bursting people’s heads with hammer.

From the beginning, I had a strong feeling Nikaido was hiding something important from Kaiman,
something that would cause irreconcilable conflict between them. I can’t wait for season 2, its a damn good anime.

Please recommend series that'll keep me engrossed, series that I'll lose sleep over just because I want to know what happens next

For context, Black Mirror and Blindspot are series that I enjoyed so much.

Don't bother saying blacklist, it's trash
Altered Carbon, West World, Love Death + Robots

From your context, I think you should explore animes. You can start with The Promised Neverland.

FamilyRe: Women Are Bad Marriage Advisers. by brainhack(m):
bukatyne:
In secondary school, we called it 'if na me' cheesy grin

I don't think it is a 'woman' problem because I have seen men do same on/offline.

'I wash my wife's car because she deserves it's; 'i cook because it is my hobby'; 'I do XYZ because my spouse deserves it'.

They are all married to the only good men and women in the world so going the extra mile for them or being a little patient is worth it.

Somehow, they 'enjoy' doing all the good things that would continually make their spouses happy. Those things are not 'compulsory', they just 'like' to do them.

They are so plenty here that it makes for comic relief when they goad posters into doing what is wrong while they know (from their previous posts/belief system/situation) that they are taking far more or doing something worse.

This generation also has itchy ears so when you assess the stories they bring or tell and tell them the truth, you become a 'man pleaser'; 'anti-feminist'; 'anti-women'; 'simp'; 'woman wrapper'. Etc.

That's why a Beyonce (a woman who forgave a cheating husband and immediately went on to have twins) would wear a bikini and tell girls they 'rule' the world or to summarize 'the future is female'. And girls would listen and project their inner 'Sasha' whom Beyonce left on stage at home.

Or a Chimamanda who dresses like a Pastor's wife would come out to complain 'girls are told to dress decently or cross their legs while sitting' and women would shout 'power to the ladies'.

Or Cardi B would tell women not to buy more expansive gifts for their men aka buy weed when he gives you flowers while she buys the world and more for her husband/baby daddy.

Like you rightly said, some of the people goading you also want to use you as a guinea pig for their fantasies. 'If Shade or Tunji runs it and it works for them, maybe I would try it'.

I believe anyone matured enough to have a relationship/marriage or attain certain positions must have acquired the required skill set and emotional intelligence to maintain them.

If they don't, they should go and learn.
Best thing I have read on Nairaland this month!

@TheBolded most times I got confused as to whether some followers are blind or they are just plain stupid (my money is on the latter).

Someone that has a husband, she loves, respects and cherishes (and lovely children) is giving you tips that would inevitably bring about conflict in our own up and coming relationship; telling you that you are a strong single woman lol. A man that would walk to ends of the world for his wife, tells you to over-assert yourself and lord over your girlfriend, in our already fragile relationship.

Is it that some people don’t have common-sense or they just don’t want love and peace in their lives, I look at followers of these social constructs with so much pity. Smh.

People, always safeguard your happiness.

Better than south park? huh
Hmm. F is for Family and South Park have very little in common though. South Park is more like a satire. South Park has free reins on character usage and has no timeline restriction (past/present/future), they can introduce any character from Michael Jackson to Skankhunt42 to Aliens to Jesus Christ.

Factoring these “privileges” enjoyed by South Park. I’d say F is for Family is a better show.

F is for Family (Season 1 - 4)

This is one of the best animated sitcoms I have watched so far considering how difficult it is to have a progressive storyline. Anthropology series are much easier to make.

There are subtle moments that makes one reflect on the cycle of life and It’s funny as hell grin

Stop? Lolzz i wish, but its nothing to be scared of, though you need to be very prayerful.

I can relate to the name-calling, l have had one vivid experience..

Long Post

While I was in secondary school, we had a new driver. He was in his mid-twenties. Everyone liked him, he was well-groomed; don’t get me wrong of cause there are people that are good-looking and dress well but their attitude repels everything. This guy was too humble. If he as much as “feel” he has offended you, the way he would apologize: you can’t just withhold any good from him. He grew up in a slum (you would never know unless he told you), you’d know he is going places in life irrespective of his humble beginning, humility and grace was all over him.

Moving up in life, most people become self-conceited and proud then let go of old friends: not this guy. I noticed he was usually drowsy when he resumes work and asked him about it. Surprised by my power of observation, he opened up. Apparently his low-life friends often drag him off to drink and keep late nights during weekdays (I call them low-life because who makes a habit of drinking till 1/2am during weekdays, when you have a job 8am the following morning). He was kind to them, he seemed to be their new sponsor.

Fast-forward to two months later, he didn’t show up for work on a Friday. The phone he bought while on the job was switched off, following day Saturday it was still unreachable. Monday morning I heard his loud jovial voice call my name from the garage. I rushed down with the car key; on getting there my guy was nowhere to be found. I was so sure I heard his voice I went round the house twice. Going back to my room, I had almost passed by my folks in the living room, when they asked “Some minutes ago, you shouted I am coming, who was that?”. I told them the driver called my name but I couldn’t find him. There was an awkward silence.

Apparently our driver was killed by “his friends” Thursday night the previous week, they took his phone. Unknown to me, his people had called my folks early that Monday morning to break the news of his death.

Who are they?
Swift network is a 4G WIMAX and fibre broadband Internet service provider. Bruh I’ve been in a loyal love-hate relationship with swiftng since 2011.

— Network reliability - 6.0 (out of 10). I know the name of everyone in their customer-care. Sigh.

— Affordability of service plans - 7.5 (out of 10), you’d definitely find a plan that fits your need.
