Don’t split the money. I gave it to you once, I want the whole thing once. You are not doing me any favor by paying what you owe. Even when you pay it, like I said it would have lost half of it value due to passage of time, well that is the cost of associating with you that i have to bear.

I have your pictures, it’s just a matter of time till i get your complete whereabout. With all you have spent within this timeline; you may think you have a grand plan that ensures you won’t pay this debt in full, you’re very mistaken.

You have been unfaithful with little, you should never be trusted with much. In this lifetime if an opportunity ever arises for you to be entrusted with much no matter what it is, even if i’m just a little bit indirectly/remotely in the picture; you will never get it. You know I always keep my word.

You have used up all the grace given to you. I have given you the proverbial long rope - 4years, now you are just about to hang yourself with it. I will get to you suddenly and unexpectedly, whatever I do in the process is on you. Since you refused to pay your debt willingly, that day you shall pay the whole amount with full interest plus all accompanying cost I incur in the process, whether you have or not.

Keep dragging your feet.

Have you realized that the entire amount owed has lost half of it value with the passage of time (20k in year 2022 buys a whole lot less that 20k in year 2018)

Finally it boils down to marrying someone capable of rational thinking, not marrying a shallow minded person whose mind is clouded by social norms/religious over-zealousness.

Personally I don’t see any significance in inviting half of the world to wine and dine. In Nigeria, most people that engage in such can’t even afford it, imagine the folly of borrowing just to throw a wedding party. Even if you have the money, why waste it? Those Ms would serve you better as down payment towards a house of your own.

Let me jug your memory, you took a small loan 3 years 8 months ago. You told me you had no financial sustenance and you needed to start a small business. In my kindness/stupidity, I gave you this loan but told you explicitly that its a loan, I would expect it back. You swore by God, heaven and earth you would pay it back within a month and you requested for a 10% monthly interest charge, which I refused asking for just the capital I gave you back. You did start the business.

Again this happened 3 years 8 months (4years). In 4 years you have celebrated birthdays, holidays, bought new clothes, sewed new clothes, paid for transportation to different places, paid hospital bills, wedded, everyday you ate & drank, you have painted your house and now you have almost finalized your trip to UK for studies. All this and you still refuse to pay a 20k loan.

You not only spoiled whatever relationship we had friendship-wise, you have also poisoned my mind against grant any form of loan that may benefit the life of any other person. I honestly don’t know what to call, if not plain wickedness.

You ignored the last email I sent to you but I am sure you read and you know how I’m going to go about this.

I strongly advise against lending people money no matter how desperately they seem to need it. To recover your money in most cases is a stressful process that would almost require violence.

If you must then draw up a written agreement in which a valuable collateral owned by the borrower would change ownership as yours in event of default. Without this never proceed no matter what.

There is no crime if the wife earn more than the husband or even older than.

The truth is, in relationship people hide their motive/intention from their opposite and its up to the opposite to test his/her partner in several unrevealing ways and look for tiny red flag.

Something must always attract a man/girl to each other. Don't believe in that shits call love.

May God open our eyes to the tiniest red flag. May we never end up getting married to someone with a shallow and twisted world-view.

The Nomad and The Hummingbird

Around the time the harsh sun rose up into the sky and shone upon the land
The hummingbird appeared before the nomad again
Who was exhausted from walking
“Nomad, please listen to my song one more time”
No matter how hard the nomad tried to shoo the bird away
It refused to leave his side.
“If I can get you to lie again, will you listen to my song once more?”
“I already told you, I’m on this journey to die. I have no reason to lie anymore”
The frustrated nomad was sure he could win this time
--and agreed to the hummingbird’s terms
“Why do you want to die?”
“I may have the eyes to you, ears to hear your song and a mouth to speak to you but I’ve lost everything else.”
And then, the hummingbird replied, “No, You also have the hands to shoo me away and legs to take you on this journey.”
“Yes, you are right. You win again.”
And so, the nomad listened to the hummingbird’s song once more
This song was even more beautiful than the last and the nomad felt solace in his heart.
The hummingbird seemed satisfied as it finished its song and then flew off into the wind.

“Yes, you are right. You win again. Now, sing for me.”
The nomad sat down next to the bird, awaiting its song, but he doesn’t hear a thing. The hummingbird had already passed on.

The nomad buried the humming bird on the side of the road and sung the hummingbird’s song as if to mourn its loss.
He found that singing that song eased his soul.
Eventually, he had finally reached the ocean.
The nomad asked the quiet ocean as it reflected the starry sky, “I am a nomad who walked a long way to get here. Could you grant me my wish?”
The ocean splashed a small wave and replied, “Those who come here with wishes ask for the same things, money, fame or death. Which do you desire?”
Then the nomad replied with a beaming face, I once had everything, so I desire none of those things
“I just want to be shown the way back home.”

When I started One Piece from episode 1 it was already on episode 400 (impale down arc). We have come a long way to episode 996.

I'll just say it's not what I like. I'm more in tune to Dark Seinen anime.
It's just subjective. Everybody gats what he likes.

Even the Cowboy Bepop he's slandering sef, I haven't watched it. But I know it's an all time great and very respected.

I saw some episodes disjointedly of Cowboy Bepop while I was a kid. I can't remember most of it, that's why I say I haven't watched it.

Exactly @ bolded. I try not to be biase but the truth is old folks are holding on the faded glory of their time, hence numerous positive reviews.

These new anime giving oldies a run for their money. Insane story lines, madt world building.

On second thought I think you should just let it slide. The human psyche can be very fickle.

You won’t believe that I have attempted to watch Steins Gate three times. All three attempts I couldn’t get pass 3 episode before my soul says to me, please no more.

But that doesn’t change the fact that it is a great [b][/b]anime, people tell me how good it is. I don’t comment /criticize it cause I haven’t seen it to the end, till now I don’t know why I can’t sit through it.

That brings us to the problem of people watching a particular anime and rating it over something they haven’t seen. Some Anime are so old, so many people have seen it and think its the best without considering others.

When it’s comes to story line, plot, world building, pitting Cow Bebop against Naruto, One Piece is over kill. I rate Tower of God well above it lol.

I just started watching a TV show I should have watched a long time ago. The brother up there was asking about hardcore, this one is harder than Sopranos, Godfather of Harlem, Peaky Blinders at some point I started thinking “Hope I won’t have PTSD if I continue watching this sh*t,”.

Ladies and gentlemen, same old Oz (TV show) is still worth checking out in 2021. Oz is topping my list of hardcore/gangster TV shows, too many cringe worthy senseless crimes.

I agree with the bolded, it has more to do with their processes and TAT though. Once there are inefficiencies in their processes and TAT, there is very little customer service team can do. The blame lies with their managerial staff.

Speaking from personal experience, I opened my Stanbic IBTC MMF in 2013. The account was opened within 2/3 days. I opened FbnQ MMF in 2019, it took over a week with plenty of back and forth.

I funded my FbnQ MMF this morning, it is yet to reflect. With Stanbic MMF depending on how early I made the payment it would definitely reflect after today’s valuation run. I just hope FbnQ MMF keep to their promise of 48hrs.

I miss Stanbic MMF daily valuation (you would see your total investment increase each day) and their fast TAT, before now the rate disparity wasn’t worth the switch to FbnQ and the amount of patience I’d need with them but the 2.4% more they are offering now is enough to cover my cost of carrying patience wink
