The problem with some Christians is that we spiritualize everything. The song said you should 'shake body', all you had to do was just shake body. Not as if the Mgt of the School was asking to dance Alanta or Skelewu(even though some brethren do dz dances a lot in church). The GODWIN crooner(a supposed secular musician) has performed in lots of churches, the Bishops/Pastors didn't condemn him. Well, you've done what u felt was right for you and so I'm not judging you. Goodluck in your Job search! |

You have a Smartphone, the answer to all of your Excel challenges is just a Click away. Google is you Friend! |
Everyone knows that one person who seems to have it all. Great job, fulfilling personal life, house, a Tesla, a perfectly sculpted body, unbelievably good-looking wife/husband and what seems like a never ending supply of money. In the days before social media, you heard about a friend of a friend who was that person. In fact, they were a little bit like a unicorn. You heard about them and sometimes thought you caught a glimpse of them but you never really got your hands on hard evidence. Nowadays however, that friend of a friend is all over your social media feed and although you could theoretically block them from your online life, you just can't help but watch in wonder. Social media may give you the false impression that your high school boyfriend is well on his way to joining the Forbes 30 under 30 list or that your colleague seems to be making a lot more than you judging by her constant vacations to Bora Bora. The reality is, people lie. People don't want others to know that they too experience shortcomings. Social media offers a platform that is almost designed to allow people to show off their assets and not their liabilities. When is the last time you have seen any of your contacts boast about how they are not sure they will make their student loan payment or how they have accumulated so much credit card debt that they are seriously considering running away to Mexico and laying low until their creditors forget their existence? I guess what I am trying to say is, no one likes to plaster their unsuccessful moments on Facebook, Instagram or whatever new social media outlet is the taste of the month. Sure we know a few people who want the world to know they got the flu and wish someone would make them chicken noodle soup. But for every attention deprived soul that just needs a hug, there are 10 people who want you to know that they just purchased an Audi. All these fabricated images that we are exposed to everyday create an artificial universe of "successful" people and pressures everyone to join the "look at me I'm so great" movement. Did you get a new car? Take a selfie and make sure you put it up on Facebook. Did you get engaged? Make sure the world knows your ring is bigger than Jessica's who got engaged last month. Did you buy a new house? Why don't you take a picture of yourself in a pensive pose in front of your doorstep contemplating just how you got there? Of course there is nothing wrong with celebrating success and celebrate your success you should. But don't be fooled by all the images you see of people that seem to be doing better than you because for every image of an escape to Belize there should also be 10 screen shots of credit card statements and past due notices. Look, we are all guilty of over sharing on social media. I am no exception but perhaps leaving a little to the imagination is good for the psyche and dare I say, the greater good. Here's a thought. Focus on the positive aspects in your life and shift your focus from everyone else's "success" to your own. Also, before you go to bed tonight go ahead and unfollow that unicorn we talked about earlier. You will feel better, trust me. Nice success story, though the road to greatness differs for everybody; some people take few detours before they get to the Top while for others it's just a one-way 'gallop-free' road. |

15. Tywin Lannister – Charles Dance Go figure that the father of Tyrion would be the person that many people consider to be the show’s greatest villain – the ruthless Tywin Lannister. A great villain deserves a great actor, and that’s exactly what the show got when they hired Charles Dance to portray him. He’s been acting since the 70s and has had many different roles. Our favorite? Why that would be his turn as the villain Benedict in the sadly forgotten Arnold Schwarzenegger film Last Action Hero. 14. Tyrion Lannister – Peter Dinklage Tyrion Lannister may be the beating heart of the Game of Thrones universe, and that universe’s creator, George R. R. Martin, has even said that Tyrion is his favorite character. He’s portrayed by actor Peter Dinklage, who’s had quite a long and fulfilling career. He had a run on the hit show Nip / Tuck, appeared in the movie Elf, and has even showed up for cameos in shows like Entourage. We love Peter Dinklage, and we bet that you do to.
13. Melisandre – Carice van Houten We really don’t understand why Stannis is such a sourt puss; he get’s to feast his eyes on Melisandre all day long. Can things really be that bag? The Red Woman is portrayed by actress Carice van Houten, who turned success in foreign films into success in big Hollywood movies. For example, she’s appeared opposite Tom Cruise in the World War II movie Valkyrie.
12. Stannis Baratheon – Stephen Dillane King Stannis is such a sour puss, isn’t he? And now, he’s only going to have more things to complain about given that he’s found his way to… No spoilers! Right! Let’s see… Stephen Dillane is the actor responsible for rendering Stannis’ signature scowl and film, and he’s got quite a body of experience to back that scowl up. He’s been working as an actor since the 80s and is perhaps best known for his roles in The Hours and Spy Game.

11. Brienne of Tarth – Gwendoline Christie In the world of Westeros, is there anyone that kicks more ass than Brienne of Tarth? Many fans have really grown to love the character, which has certainly helped the career of Gwendoline Christie. She had a few bit parts before Game of Throne, but now things are looking up! She’s set to appear in the new Star Wars movie that’s coming out later this year, and she’ll also be appearing in the final Hunger Games movie.
10. Joffrey Baratheon – Jack Gleeson We promised that we weren’t going to spoil anything for you, but keeping that promise is getting really, really hard. Obviously, you know all about King Joffrey – he’s the character that you love to hate. Anyway, Jack Gleeson, who’s actually not anything at all like his on screen counterpart, portrays him. He had a few roles before the show, and even appeared in Batman Begins as a child saved by the Dark Knight himself.
9. Margaery Tyrell – Natalie Dormer Ah, Margery! Things must be so much better now that… Right, no spoilers… Margery Tyrell is… Look, would you just catch up with the show already? It’s been on for years now! Anyway, this character is played by Natalie Dormer, who is no stranger to successful, serialize television. Before Game of Thrones, you may have caught her playing Anne Boleyn on the hit television show The Tudors.
8. Jaime Lannister – Nikolaj Coster-Waldau If it weren’t for the fact that the character is such a pretentious and incestuous blowhard, women would probably swoon over Jaime Lannister just as much as they do Jon Snow. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is the man who brings this character to life, and the role is but one of many in his career. As you might have guessed by the name, Nikolaj is a foreign actor. So, if you want to see some of his earlier roles, you better be prepared for subtitles!
7. Hodor – Kristian Nairn Hodor may be the closest thing that Game of Thrones has to ongoing comic relief. After all, the dude only says one thing, “Hodor!” The character is brought to life by an actor named Kristian Nairn, and it’s his first role. Sweet gig, that. Booking a continuing role on a major television show in which you only have one line. When he’s not busy filming the show, Kristian is attending to his other job as a professional DJ.
6. Daenerys Targaryen – Emilia Clarke Daenerys Targaryen goes by many different names on the show, no more apropos than “The Mother of Dragons”. Emilia Clarke is responsible for bringing this character to life, and it’s really the first true role she’s had in her career, having only appeared in a handful of things before. If you thought that Emelia was a natural blonde, you are incorrect. She’s a brunette, and she uses a wig while they’re filming the show.
5. Shae – Sibel Kekilli It is so hard not to spoil things for you guys! Let’s see… So Shae has been the woman that’s been keeping Tyrion’s bed warm at night, delighting both him and the audience with her quick wit. She’s played by the Turkish actress Sibel Kekilli, who’s had quite the career. If you’ve ever thought to yourself that Sibel looks quite actual acting in the nude on camera, that’s because she is. Once, long ago, she worked as a porn actress.
4. Theon Greyjoy – Alfie Allen Poor Theon Greyjoy! Things just haven’t been going well for him, have they? We thought about using the name that this character goes by now, but we’re trying to avoid spoilers for all of you folks who aren’t caught up with the show yet. Anyway, Alfie Allen, who plays Theon, has been acting since he was a child, and even appeared in the sequel to Agent Cody Banks. Many may not realize that he comes from a creative family; his sister is the singer Lily Allen.
3. Jon Snow – Kit Harrington Jon Snow is one of those characters that make women swoon, and there’s no doubting that he certainly heats things up on The Wall. Game of Thrones is really Kit’s first role, and he’s turned his success on the show into roles elsewhere. Before that, Kit was just one of many fresh-faced young male actors looking for work. But, unlike many of those other actors, he did have being a descendant of King Charles II going for him.
2. Petyr Baelish – Aiden Gillen Petyr Baelish, who’s known more commonly to fans and on the show as Littlefinger, is Westeros foremost purveyor of sexual services, something that he uses to his political advantage. The character is portrayed by Aiden Gillen, who’s been a working actor since the 80s. Fans of HBO know that the network likes to keep it in the family, and Aiden Gillen is one example of this. He had a prominent role on The Wire, which many consider to be the best television show ever.

Winter is coming, friends! You may not believe, but it is… And those dragons! Something is going to happen with them sooner or later, right? Well, we’re about to find out soon, because Game of Thrones is going to be returning for its fifth season early on in April. We’re excited about it! So, we thought we’d take a look at some of the shows best characters and the actors and actresses that are responsible for bringing them to life. What was Shae doing before she was warming Tyrion’s bed? And how about Tyrion? What was he up to? Well, you’re about to find out. So come take a look at 15 Game of Thrones stars before they were famous. 1. Cersei Lannister – Lena Heady When Cersei Lannister isn’t busy plotting to murder someone, she’s usually sitting around somewhere half or full drunk on fine wine. She’s portrayed on the show by Lena Heady, who’s been a working actress since the early 90s. One of her first roles had her appearing in a TV Movie based on the hit show MacGyver. Later on in her career, before Game of Thrones, she was the titular character in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” and even appeared in the movie 300.
