Is it better to attach ones resume and cover letter or type it in the body of the mail.
Got an application ending tomorrow wondering what's the best format

Attach your Cover letter and CV, then make a short note on the body of the mail with information relating to the role in question or short details of your CV.

Personally, I like to include my Cover letter and CV on a single Word document. i.e The Cover letter on the 1st page, then the CV on the 2nd & 3rd pages. You can try it if you like the idea. Take care!

I don't understand how people underestimate the power of www.google.com

Stop embarrassing yourself, go online and type these Job titles on google search. You'll get more than enough information, same goes for all other things you need to know.

Sometimes you won't blame them too, because after training you for couple of months you'll now leave them and go for a better paying jobs. This is one of the challenges they face in their Graduate Trainee Schemes.

Wow, funny enough all these Bible verses favour the women most.

"Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. - Ephesians 5:25

Una own na to submit, our own is to die for you. Chaii!

Most men only get married so they'll have children, while most women get married because of the societal pressure. Truth is, beneath all of these we all love our freedom.

Mr Op,
Creating a topic that you got a job from a post on nairaland, there are two things involved,
it's either you are saying the truth or lying to get likes and congratulations,
If you are saying the truth you are safe, but if you are lying for likes, there are two things involved, it's either you are just another troll or hungry just like me,
If you are a troll, you are safe, but if hungry, there are two things involved,
Its either you get garri for house or nothing dey house, if you get garri for house you are safe, but if nothing dey house there are two things involved, it's either you get where to borrow or you are on your own, if you get where to borrow you are safe, but if you are on your own there is only one thing involved,
Hunger go kill you

Hungryboy? Indeed, there's power on the name. Lolz

This Is an Interesting one @op.
Let me talk about GIVING
I remember when I was serving, I had to cater for my younger ones with my NYSC allowance. I had to manage and sacrifice so that the money would be enough.
This didnt stop me from also contributing to any project that was ongoin in NCCF because I was part of that family. I always love to give if am in the position to do so.
Despite all the responsibilities, I never for once slept hungry during my service because God always provided.

*fast forward to after nysc. I expected that, I wont look for Job for long because I always give, not minding how I was going to survive. But till now, i'm still job hunting.
I even applied to NITDA scholarship for my M.SC and I went for the exam too. Since the Job was not forth coming maybe I should just further my studies. The only way for me to further is through scholarship because I don't have the money to sponsor myself now. But I didnt get the scholarship.
I became fustrated and depressed. I have people looking up to me. I have responsibilities to take care of but no finance to do that. Most times I ask God questions.
But, i have learnt a lot in this waiting period. Which are- patience, to never loose hope and trust in God.
*I have never regretted giving the little I had, even though I was not sure what life after nysc holds.

Would I still give and help others should God bless me today? Oh yes, because I find fulfillment in doing that.

Now, I am writing this to give someone hope out there. You not alone. Just hold on. Things will become well again.
Do not get involved with crime. Just to make ends meet. There's dignity in labour.
I believe God is bringing helpers my way soon.
Btw Shiloh starts tomorrow. Make sure you attend. Your miracle awaits. Remain Bless.

Na ya mama born you, your head dey house well well.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: An Important Lesson All Job Seekers Should Learn by brainzdh(m): 8:36pm On Dec 02, 2015
I'm surprised you had to open a thread for this. It's basic good manners and it's something you learn from childhood.

For every unknown call you receive, courtesy demands you greet and talk politely. Except it's one of ur buddies who you normally use insult or yabbing to greet each other.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Pains Of A Recruiter / HR Mgr by brainzdh(m): 11:39am On Oct 30, 2015
Thanks ma'am, you've spoken well. The unemployment situation in the country is quite terrible, that's why you'll find Crop Science graduates(and the likes) applying for jobs strictly stated for Engineering graduates.

At the end, it's so much work for the HR Recruiter to start sifting the thousands of CVs for a position slated for just 5persons.

Funny enough 3months into the job, one or two of the new recruits might tender resignation letters due to a better Job offer elsewhere or sudden frustration with the job....Lolz! At the end both recruiter & the unemployed share a level of pain.
