As a Stockbroker, i would say that the crash was imminent, i have warned my friends that invest in the nigerian capital market to be wary.
The market in Nigeria is still growing and one should expect this type of situation.
The typical nigerian investor is bullish to a fault and wants to invest in the morning and reap 30 to 100% gain at close of market.
That is not feasible as the stock market is not a lottery.
Again, investors should try to invest for the long term and to be able to know what they are getting into before calling their brokers to invest in what he(broker) thinks is best for him(client).
As Warren Buffet says " Do not invest in any company that you DO NOT understand what they do"

There are many folks out here in Nairaland that provide free VIN Checks for members. Could those that have benefited from this service kindly comment on how it has influenced their car buying decisions?

I believe their responses would encourage those that provide this service to continue.

You could get a Tax Identification Number which is an equivalent of a SSN, which is only given to non- US Residents.
This number has the same digits as a regular SSN and with it you could apply for a State Issued Driver's License.
Kindly note that since 9/11/01 some states are more stringent on who get a Driver's License.

I live in St. Paul, MN and last night we had more than 32,000 people mostly WHITE come out to hear Obama speak.
Some camped since 6 o'clock in the morning just to get in line.
The concert theater holds 18,000 but only 17,000 were allowed inside and the rest watched from monster screens outside.
I have never seen such a single man pull such crowd, it was as if a rock star or Benny Hinn was coming.
People would vote for him not because he is a black man but because of what his message entails.
Compare his turnout to Mccains rally in New Orleans is like comparing  apples and oranges.
Mccaim had his hundreds, Obama his Tens of Thousands
