"You can be part of them but not by been a cab driver in another man's country. No No No"

What about if he owns that cab company and 50 other cab drivers work for him? wink
TravelRe: Why Do People Back Home Think Money Grows On Trees Abroad? by brauneyes: 7:54pm On Oct 15, 2009
@redsky1
i know these things are there now, but can't you run to your village if you cannot make the payments again in Lagos or Abuja or wherever you were. There is no system in place to actually identify who you are.
Do we have social secuirty numbers now in Naija too?
TravelRe: Why Do People Back Home Think Money Grows On Trees Abroad? by brauneyes: 7:46pm On Oct 15, 2009
@miss EZ
i did not in any way say or imply that ppl abroad are better than those in Naija and i did not read that from Igbogirl either. What iam saying is that, we here work too hard to play around with money. As you rightly pointed out, we live in a debt economy. Try going to your mortgage Co and begging them to let you live in your house without payment and see what will happen to you. In Naija, you can beg oga landlord and he will let u stay for a while.
If you do not make your car note, the thing is repossed before you know it.
Iam a compassionate person and i help those that really need help. I 'll rather teach one how to fish than give the person always.
Please do not misunderstand us.

Yes, it does not mimic but are actually US servers that these calls emanate from. The Cafe connects to a US based VOIP provider and calls are made.

There is no application fees for the Lottery. They have this weird believe that if you use a US address, the chances of getting selected are greater. This is a blatant lie.
TravelRe: Why Do People Back Home Think Money Grows On Trees Abroad? by brauneyes: 6:51pm On Oct 15, 2009
My answer to all is this: Enroll in the Visa Lottery for them back home and pray that at least on person will win.
Let them come and see that particular tree on Times Square that money grows on. Stupid leeches.
RomanceRe: A Solution Against Girls Playing ''hard To Get'' by brauneyes: 10:47pm On Oct 08, 2009
IgboGirl:
Why do most of you Nigerian men always bring up the issue of money when dealing with girls, talking about using money to get a girl? Which money will yall use to woo a girl? Your tuition money? Or your rent money? Some of you making this bogus claims about money are probably still in school, so where is that money you have that can make a girl fall for u? If you have a career then good but how much is your salary? Do you men really think you can afford a girl's expenses?

Seriously, some of you Nigerian men need to think twice before making claims about money. Can you buy gucci, christian louboutin, prada, yves saint laurent etc for a girl? With that chicken change some of you are making as your salaries I doubt that. Taking a girl out to a restaurant does not qualify as spending money on a girl. Besides, what gives you men the impression that yall have more money than us women?

I don't know how the girls in Nigeria are acting but some of us Nigerian girls abroad do not give a damn about your money. None of you can afford my shoes muchless the handbags I carry and I don't rely on a man to buy them for me.
@poster   iam a man and i not only wear Gucci, Prada and Co. i own them (i.e) i own Gucci , Prada and LV shares and the more you convince your man to buy these stuff for you  the better for my stock on those companies.
Come to think of it, i as a man will not buy designer stuff for a girl who does not know what there are, talk about putting lipstick on a pig.

Fellow Nairalanders! I live here in Minnesota and actually know some of them facially although not by name. What do u expect when u purchase a property in the suburbs and throw parties all week end long?
When u buy a vehicle costing over $70K in cash?
Throw money around when u go clubbing in downtown Minneapolis?
Have more than 10 aliases and no one knows your real name?
Sleep all day and party all night?
As someone rightly said in this forum, the oyibo man is not stupid, they watch observe before the move in for the kill.
In every suburb, in every city here in the US there are people that observe the lifestyle u live and report same to the police when your ways are suspicious.

@poster, read the post well. The US has pressurized the Swiss Govt. to release names of Americans that use Swiss accounts to evade taxes in the US. My concern is when will the US expose Nigerians who hide their money here in the US.
