please o, for all those saying " i was able to choose a centre" can somebody, anybody kindly explain what they mean by that cause i can log into my UK profile, and while the preferred exam centre is showing what i want, i didnt see any option/platform where one can select

those who did the china/france/germany might understand me better cause then when we were asked to select a centre, u log in, a dialogue box pops up and u select a centre you want either ibadan, ph e.t.c but in this UK own, i cant find such. While im ok with the centre it's showing, i just wanna know if its the same for everyone cause some of u are saying " i chose a centre bla bla bla" and i never c where to choose fr here ooo

P.S.. for some reason if you try logging in with chrome, you get the "you were not shortlisted message" so id advice you use another browser

You didn't see any option where you can select that because, like you stated in the second paragraph you can clearly see your centre on your dashboard which means you selected your centre long before now. The dialogue box should only pop up if you haven't selected it yet.

I think it's showing not shortlisted for everyone. It could be a problem with the system

I'ts not showing "not shortlisted" for me though, I can clearly log into both of my accounts.

Do we have guys who attended the ptdf 2018 germany/france/china scholarship interview and still got selected in UK application?
I guess candidates who got recommended for G/F/C scholarships might not be shortlisted for Uk to avoid other people chance.

I was shortlisted for both.

So I was able to log into the Portal using another browser. It seems you can't log into the portal using chrome.

OK I was sent the mail but it kept saying the portal is closed. I had filled for my interview location sometime last week though. I'd like to think that It's saying Portal closed cos I've done it already.

I applied for the FG & C and was shortlisted, I also applied the UK schorlaship, I didn't get a mail to choose my center, however when I logged in I was able to choose a center... So probably I'm shortlisted for this also...

Exactly my thoughts, I think the mail was sent to people who hadn't selected an interview centre before

I got the message and I had selected my interview centre before.

I checked again and then I noticed the changes, I was scared when I didn't see it, now I can breathe.

I logged into mine and I can see my profile has been updated to reflect the university choices I selected during the application process

I didnt notice any changes in mine yet.

Yes, the older man, a professor appeared to be the don in the oil and gas field. Both were very cordial and even the instructor was warm.

I'm very grateful to the Almighty, they were only 2 who interviewed me today, it felt more like a friendly conversation than an interview, the older man was very funny and was always cracking jokes, I was very relaxed and composed, Just when I thought it was good,it got even better when they told me they were very impressed. My session was funny I came out smiling. Now I can rest. There's actually no reason to be afraid,just go out there and do you. This looks like a process that would be based strictly on merit. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

It is very essential get it ready, that was self explanatory.

I strongly believe from my findings that the yorubas were mostly favoured in this selection. Hardly before you will see the ibos or south-south shortlisted.

well it seems its going to be exams n not interview. for those of us that were not shortlisted or that were deceived by the mail, don't feel bad, its part of life, keep moving on, a better opportunity will come at a better time. don't blame it on your SOP or int passport, its certainly not d reason, hope u applied with ur certs n not result notification? hope ur names were clearly written in the right other, did u get a first class, 2:1 or 2:2, of course the better grade will go first, but av seen some 2:1s n first class that werent picked? candidates were randomly picked so don't feel bad. there r some SOPs that if u read u will wonder how d candidate got picked but he was still picked, so just relax n dont feel bad, ur best is yet to come. continue in ur pursuit for success, a better chance will come. congrats to all of us that were successfully picked. pls know that u were privileged n its not by ur SOP or any other factor. success in ur exams/interviews cos more persons will be screened out during this second round.

Who told you it's going to be exams? Stop spreading wrong information thank you.

BEA used same terms, but all ended up writing tests.

I am also hoping it is really interviews and not written tests.

I do not have any sources, but if you have made enquiries and your source is genuine, it is all good we all get to benefit.

I wasn't shortlisted according to the website after logging in. But to my surprise I was sent an email that I was shortlisted and that I should login and choose a center.

I checked again and it says I wasn't shortlisted. Who's in the same shoes?

The Flexisaf guys are saying if you got the mail and you are not able to choose your examination centre(i.e if it says you have not been shortlisted), it means the message was not meant to be sent to you. Sorry about that.

UPDATE!!!!
PTDF is sending mails to shortlisted applicants to choose preferred centres of interview. Options should be made no later than 72 hours after recieving the mail else an option will be selected for you automatically.
Interiview will hold between 9th and 13th April. Thats a short notice so if you have confirmed you have been shortlisted better start getting ready.
Although it seems every applicant (PhD & MSc) will write tests. I think by interviews they mean tests.

For those who did not get shortlisted, do not despair, all hope is not lost. the UK option just opened.

It's not a test but interview, stop passing wrong information.
