pornaosp, Aokp, AOSP all same thing. even RR. Treble ROMs have too much ish, ranging from treble TWRP, treble magisk and ish. Which non-treble did you use that was a little stable

As much i love stock based custon roms... I cnt see masef using it for now jus cuz of one reason... Apps scaling for 18:9 aspect ratio cnt b toggled like miui for apps dt aint updated to support it... U get me

lol you're trying sha but you still dey learn...i have flashed close to 10 custom roms on my redmi 5 plus infact i know the people that build the roms and i am one of the rom testers, we have treble roms and non treble roms... Have flashed los, dot os, mokee rom, bootleggers, carbon, pornaosp, miui eu (weekly), resurrection remix, aex, Aokp, Aosp, PornAosp, slim rom etc.. Am currently on miui eu after coming from bootlegger

Note: the roms i just listed are oreo roms .

You've installed your ADB file, right? If YES, then open the ADB folder and launch your CMD from there using the key combo (SHIFT+right click mouse button).

i have done it sir, its telli me command not recognized

State the command? Should be:
fastboot devices
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Fastboot boot recovery.img
...and should be opened in the ADB folder by simultaneously pressing SHIFT + right click to select your CMD shell.

i didn't type the first command, the folder i open the command window is a folder i created and put the recovery img in, am doing it right sir?

guys please help, i have been trying to roo my redmi 5 plus via fastboo but its saying something like 'command not recognized" in the comand window i open.

hmmmm, i will have to wait for 350 hrs before i can unlock, that link is not a geniune fastboot rom link, fastboot rom is not yet out for redmi 5 plus.

one can apply for bootloader unlock in vendor rom or urs came with Chinese rom

mine came with China stable rom

My people i have been granted permission to unlock bootloader, i am on china stable 9.2.3.0(NEGCNEK), can i flash the new global stable through updater app?, am using redmi 5 plus

una eh!!! It's not xiaomi, it's your network provider. Airtel is my main network and I receive otp code.

Maybe your request was rejected. Try again or get another network and attach it to your mi account

Please guys, why is it that xiaomi doesn't send code to mtn and airtel numbers except glo, am requesting for bootloader unlock but am not getting the code on my mtn sim any solution?
