Very terrible experience.

I started using my number since mid 2005. Along the line, calls meant for a married business man was coming through my line.

-from a driver telling me his trailer load of goods got bad along Ore high way.

-many customer want to speak with oga.

-many of them want to speak with their uncle.

.one of his relative challenging me to return the phone to the owner.

-the wife shouting @ me to give phone to her husband (I was dumbfounded )

-his daughter crying asking me to pity her & give the phone to her dad as she is in a difficult situation (this case made me cry)

so many cases too numerous to mention, I was forced to call MTN customer to verify how many people using the same number & they insist I am the sole owner.

I can't just change a number I have been using for over a decade

I've been scammed o by this alaba boys.there was a day i went to alaba to buy movies. Being a sucker for trendy movies i bought a lot of american and nollywood movies,everything worth around 5k.infact when i went there everything was doing kami kami kami in my eyes.the ibo man will say madam take this one na,oga select this one na,oga buy this one na.i don watch am,e sweet well well,me too,i will tell him oya put it inside nylon bag.he was so happy that day smiling at me cheerfully not knowing i have been swindled.i drove back home through the congested road.as soon as i got home changed my outfit and had my bath,dressed up and all i said to myself,let me now balance and watch these movies till i pay my dstv subscription fees that expired


as i sloted in one,it said error,i used my dress to clean the back of the cd,same thing,i took the second one,no show,the 3rd one same.i started getting agitated,i said ha shewa,otidaran.awon were omo ibo yi ti gba e.kilomashey bayi.still not convinced

i went to my room were i kept my laptop,plugged it and turned it on and slotted the disc into my laptop and the thing said empty disc.i put my hand on my head in shock and amazement.i was still dramatizing,saying awon oloriburuku yi ti gba mi.ye,5k jona.motu fun omo ibo ti aye e ma baje lowo.


The following day i drove back there.when i got there,i asked for the man in this shop and those around there said he has travelled.hope nothing madam.i saiddont worry.i got into the car.put my 1st finger into my teeth,still not getting over the fact that i have been swindled.infact,that thing pained me seriously,it entered my bones.meanwhile this is the 3rd time an ibo boy will swindle me.as a matter of fact, nothing will make me not believe many of them are not fraudsters and dubious characters

at the point he stopped payment, I did not make further supply. Secondly, I followed the proper procedure in making him a supplier. The company is aware & all transactions documented.

I am from a family that have a very peaceful extended family relationship. Some years back my cousin (male) notified me of a job in the banking industry which I applied for & got the job, I stayed with him for over a year (not in the same city with my parents & also based on family advice) till I lost the job due to downsizing. All through my stay with him, I contribute to feeding the much I could. i was very grateful to him, it's not easy.

Fast forward to few years back, he's married with kids & facing financial difficulties. I was favoured to have a business I manage for someone. I thought of how to be of help to my cousin, came up with the idea of making him a distributor in the state where he now resides then make his profit & also offered him discount. I made the first supplied which he sold out within few weeks & was happy. Second supply was also a success. I supplied again & after few weeks he requested for more but when I asked for money for the last supply, he went behind to explain to other family memebers ( not his siblings) how he used my money to start an entire new business (transport), hoping to pay me back once he starts making gain.

IT'S 2 YEARS NOW! No Payment (almost N200,000). All efforts failed. He now tells people I don't care about his welfare. The business owner insists the money must be paid. Considering the peace we enjoy in the family I'm devastated. I don't want any family trouble to originate from me. My plan is to report to his siblings during this festive period.

Modified: He is currently a pastor in a local branch of a big pentecostal church. Brethren in the pentecostal church, is there any way of handling this type of issue through regional or national offices?

I got a message two times to register for 'My African Youth Initiative'. A youth empowerment programme from federal government. I was directed to pay the sum of N3,000, then include my teller transaction number in the registration.
