@LebogangHube was unable to keep her excitement to herself as she took to Twitter to show off her newly bought Porsche Cayenne Turbo 541 horsepower which was purchased for her as a surprise package because of her love for horses which she revealed to her boyfriend.

Leakers.ng gathered that the Porsche Cayenne Turbo 541 horsepower comes with a large touchscreen infotainment system and touch-sensitive center console, standard navigation with real-time traffic updates, onboard Wi-Fi hotspot and Apple CarPlay capability, sport seats with 18-way adjustability to provide a tight hold on backside and feel supportive enough for a cross-country trek.

Also, forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking and more advanced driver-assistance features, such as night vision and adaptive cruise control are also available.

Most importantly, according to Porsche, the car will do zero to 60mph in just 3.7 seconds.

Journalist, Agba Jalingo, has been charged with treason over a report about alleged diversion of N500 million by Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade.

Mr Jalingo, publisher of CrossRiverWatch newspaper based in Cross River, has been in police detention for more than a week after his arrest in Lagos.

Cross River Micro Finance had petitioned the police over a report in Jalingo’s newspaper alleging that Ayade approved and diverted N500 million for the government-owned microfinance bank.

Jalingo had sued the police over his arrest and detention, which he said were illegal and a breach of his fundamental human rights.

He wants the court to order the police to pay him N150 million as damages for the manner he was allegedly maltreated.

Police, however, have now instituted a four-count charge of treasonable felony, terrorism, cultism, and the disturbance of public peace on the journalist at the Federal High Court in Calabar.

Police alleged that Jalingo was working with the #RevolutionNow movement to destabilise the government and ‘undemocratically’ force Ayade’s government out through violent means.

The first count of the suit filed on August 30.

According to the charge, the alleged offence was in breach of Section 59 of the Criminal Code Act, Cap C38, 2004.

Jalingo was also accused of working with the detained convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, and Ekanem Ekpo, and others at large of terrorism.

Jalingo’s counsel, Monday Ubani, in a statement on Saturday, demanded that his client be released immediately and without conditions.

Mr Ubani said the police intend to use the excuse that courts are on vacation to further detain his client.

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has attacked South East governors over alleged complicity in the military’s activities in the region known as Operation Python Dance.

Briefing newsmen after a meeting on Saturday of South East governors with some Igbo stakeholders that was attended by Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, Chairman of South East Governors, David Umahi, said that the governors never invited the military to the region for Operation Python Dance II.

The first operation allegedly led to the killing of members of the group at Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia, Abia State, home of Mr Kanu, in September 2017.

Umahi said: “South East governors never invited the Army nor were South East Governors informed of any of their operations on Python Dance until the operations were already started in the states.

“South East governors would like to write to Mr President to request for a meeting with him and all the security chiefs on security to douse tension in the region.”

In a tweet, however, late Saturday Kanu criticised governors of the region, saying that while they supported the Federal Government in proscribing IPOB, governors in the northern region were negotiating with ‘Fulani bandits’.

“SE Govs, if you knew nothing about Operation Python Dance 2, why did you proscribe IPOB in its wake? The same northern leaders instigating you to fight peaceful IPOB is busy negotiating with & financing their fellow Fulani bandits. Who is fooling who? Too little, too late,” he said.

IPOB had vowed to attack the governors and Igbo leaders anywhere outside the country.

The United States embassy in Nigeria has said that its reciprocity fees for Nigerians applying for tourism, student and business visas would remain for now.

This comes about 48 hours after the Federal Government announced a decrease in visa charges payable by US citizens applying for Nigerian visa.

According to a statement by the US embassy on Friday, Nigerian authorities have not officially communicated the reduction to the embassy.

“The U.S. Embassy looks forward to receiving official diplomatic communication regarding a new fee schedule for Americans seeking Nigerian visas. Until such time, and confirmation of implementation, the reciprocity fees for approved visas to the United States will remain in place,” the statement said.

The US embassy had on August 27 said it raised the fees because Americans were paying too much to get Nigerian visas.

An hilarious conversation between a "school mother" and her "school son" leaked to the internet in which the school mother claimed to be pregnant for her school son.

Kemi who happen to be the school mother as indicated in the chat claimed to enjoy the "big manhood" of his school son, Daniel. "Don't thank me joor! I enjoyed everything I swear. Now, Kemi is pleading with her school son to not leave her but the school son is referring her back to her boyfriend.

Nigerians have accused the founder of Invictus Group, Obinwanne Okeke, of revealing the names of 80 Nigerians listed in fraud charges by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

A 252-count federal grand jury indictment unsealed Thursday charged the 77 Nigerians with participating in a massive conspiracy to steal millions of dollars through a variety of fraud schemes and launder the funds through a Los Angeles-based money laundering network.

FoxMeek reports that FBI had early on Thursday led law enforcement authorities in arresting 14 defendants across the United States, with 11 of those arrests taking place in Los Angeles.

Two defendants were already in federal custody on other charges, and one was arrested earlier this week.

The remaining defendants are believed to be abroad, with most of them located in Nigeria.

The indictment alleges that the defendants and others used various online fraud schemes – including business email compromise (BEC) frauds, romance scams, and schemes targeting the elderly – to defraud victims out of millions of dollars.

Nigerians on Twitter have begun mocking Mr Okeke, accusing him of revealing the names of his accomplices to get lesser sentencing.
