Buhari in his almighty wisdom decided to release and pardon these terrorist that have continued to kill our soldiers.. Smh |
A40:Exactly! It's just sad |
Plead:Define criminal conviction. Define crime. Now explain if Funke's case was a criminal matter or civil matter. I'm patiently waiting |
It seems this man has played himself and scored own-goal o. He just gave Sanwoolu free pass to bury his political career. Remember Babatunde Gbadamosi the ADC governorship candidate at the last election in Lagos, he was at Funke Akindele's party. If they prosecute and convict him, is that not an end to his political career? https://www.nairaland.com/5778067/babatunde-gbadamosi-arrested-attending-funke |
This man show APC pepper during last Election pointing out the fraud that has gone on for over 10 years the Lagos - Badagry expressway had been under construction. See how he played himself. Sanwoolu can just bury his political career by prosecuting and convicting him like they did Funke. Boom! He will be ineligible to contest any election again in Nigeria except he gets Presidential pardon. He will be referred to as ex-convixt because of small party he attend ó ![]() |
izzou:Baba u get time o. Me I kuku see the mention and couldn't be bothered to start doing back and forth on the boko haram issue since they said Buhari is doing just enough already. A president that decides to rehabilitate and release terrorists who killed soldiers says he wants the surviving soldiers to end terrorism, How? He was talking about America, shebi we saw how Trump took out the Iranian general, àbí we didn't see how Obama streamed live the video op of Osama's assassination. I don't even think most of these party people understand its the life of humans we are talking about here not goats of fowl. People dey die, the few killers wey Una catch una release dem....smh |

seankafor:Ur analogies are just off it man. |
seankafor:Honestly, u are not doing a good job at trying to defend this present government on this matter at all. See you talking about America and Russia in Syria again when u are trying to defend Nigerian Government's inability to defeat Boko Haram; where is the correlation ![]() You spoke glowingly about this present government driving boko haram to the outskirts of the town where they only resort to ovassional hit and run attacks, but facts on ground shows the terrorists have not even felt a new sheriff is in town as they kill soldiers for sport like they've been doing in the past. Talking about blame game, This Buhari led FG had done enough blame game while playing the role of an opposition to previous government. They promised to render the terrorist vanquished within the shortest period of time, we are yet to see that happen. The budget for fighting the insurgency keeps on increasing, yet nothing to show for it. These things are major issue for any responsible government and should not be what a special adviser will just write few lines of press release saying we are prosecuting the war against terror rightly while that is not the case. |
seankafor:The reason why most of us would not join Buhari praise singers is because all we've heard from him is talks and talks and talks. Buhari was supposed to be an upgrade to whatever Jonathan had been doing in the past concerning Boko Haram, but unfortunately he is not. In fact he's even shown he is a sympathizer with the Boko Haram cause going by his actions and Inactions in the recent past. ( I don't need to even start talking about his body language while he was still in the opposition which someone posted few days ago, or the eventual release back into the system of terrorist who killed and maimed soldiers) Now u talked about Buhari led government pushing Boko Haram so hard against the wall that they only resort to hit and run. Well, I must say some of us are really alarmed as to how a terror group that has been so incapacitated can still kill as much as 5,598 people in the space of 4 years Buhari ruled for first term. These are not 5,598 already dead people with bombs hurled at their Graves, they are healthy living people killed by boko haram terrorists. As seen in the screenshot below, not only has Buhari been unable to technically defeat the boko haram terrorists as he claimed in the past, his administration witnessed the birth of another terror gang; The herdsmen who killed 4,068 people in Buhari's first year in office. These are facts, figures which should make one sad, should make a responsible leader shake down his military top hierarchy and call for immediate turnaround of situation of things. This should be what even supporters of the government should be having sleepless night over, not pointing at America negotiating with Taliban (As If Taliban is on American soil killing Yankees and Trump is clueless; doesnt know what to do with his service chiefs)

Roland17:I agree with you, the civil servants in the various departments and ministries are part of the problem too. Kai! A state that doesn't have the population of Alimosho LGA in Lagos, but gets nearly the same allocation as Lagos State and still remains underdeveloped. God dey o |
Greatihex:I dont know what our academics are doing, that Bayelsa case is one badass research work some of our scholars can do a write-up/journal article on and publish. I mean someone needs to sit down gather as much statistics, analyze what the problem is (i.e is it the people or the leaders? Is it about getting too much allocation over and above what they actually need ? Is it the education level generally in the state or what?), recommend measures to tackle the identified problem in the interim and on a long term basis. In the nearest future when I decide to cross to the academics, if this bayelsa case has not been examined and discussed extensively, I will do something of sort. |
izzou:Olboy u are the real MVP. Here I was wondering if everybody livong around that axis are traders whose source of livelihood revolves around that area because I can't imagine someone living there either driving or using public transport system to other parts of Lagos every day. I can imagine that iyana-iba madness at night and even those useless boys at volks always trying to rob passerby of their belongings or breaking people's windshield in traffic. I nearly had a bitter experience there around 2013. Places like that is where SARS should have their command centre and be patrolling day and night, not disturbing normal people upandan the street of Lagos. I respect your hustle o. E no easy plying that axis daily o |
izzou:That road is just meant for current and future governors to cash out and chop their own ![]() I spent 4 years in Lasu, graduated and observed the compulsory one year NYSC service year; I've worked for 5 years now and the road is still under construction. Isn't that wonderful ![]() I was forced to attend a wedding at Agbara last year on behalf of the company because the bride's father is one of our directors. Kai! I see shege that day It took almost 5 hours to get to Agbara even after bypassing the normal volks/Okoko traffic o. Our vehicle was stuck in a bad portion of the road close to an hour, the driver was asking me to stay in the car he will drive out of of the pothole....blah blah. I just came down looked for these Dangote discuss with the driver and he pulled us out of the pothole for a ₦500. From that point I told the driver to follow one-way once he sees others doing same cos that means there's another failed portion of the road ahead. That was the lesson I learnt on that road;once u see people following one way just join them don't ask questions ![]() I just can't imagine how people living in those areas transport themselves to Lagos island or mainland daily o |
Roland17:You are right. Anybody saying is a total failure is just being economical with the truth. Ambode may have failed in some aspects particularly the LAWMA/ visioncape issue about waste disposal, but believe me Ambode had his good sides too. While people may keep hammering on the road network he constructed in Epe saying he's just did that because that was his constituency, he did quite well in some other parts. 1. Ambode commisioned 21 road networks in Alimosho LGA in one day. These are not Audio roads, and these are not patch work currently being done by Sanwoolu. They are roads constructed from the scratch. I spent my early years in Alimosho, one of the bridges he constructed is the biggest thing that ever happened to the people of Aboru community. Since I was in primary school we've always heard of school children getting drowned in the Aboru canal once it rains, the old wooden bridge gets slippery and tens of students drown every rainy season. Not only did Ambode open up the area with a strong concrete Motorable bridge, he further constructed inner roads linking Abule-Egba, Ekoro and other parts. From places like Ikola, Command, thanks to Ambode u will get to Cannanland Ota less than 45 minutes. A journey u might spend close to 4hours on a normal day. I also some these things were audio till I paid a friend a visit around AIT/Kola and all tru it was from one smooth road to the other. I was even angry those things didn't get the deserved media hype they should've gotten at the day. 2. Ambode's undoing was doing too much in one term. He was determined to work his ass off. He was busy working on Lagos -Abeokuta Expressway linking Iyana Ipaj and Oshodi at the same time Working on the Agege/ Pen Cinema flyover brigde. These two roads are alternatives. The people felt he was deliberately imposing hardship on them due to the traffic on the two routes, even though he thought he was doing the right thing to make them enjoy everything at once. Ambode was inexperienced and should've bidded his time. He was doing so well that the 3 senators representing Lagos endorsed him for his hardwork as seen in the picture below. Ambode was just a victim of his Party's internal politicking. Nothing more. If anybody still believe Ambode is a failure, let him show us details of Tinubu's achievements in his first term when he was still receiving allocation before he had rift with Obasanjo and let's compare with Ambode's 4 years.

larride:The bold part of Ur statement is incorrect. Do you live in Lagos? If stay on the mainland, I will advise you drive to the terminal once the lockdown is over and see the state of the terminal yourself. What most people reported falsely online as the terminal being taken down after Buhari commissioned it is far from the truth. What most people don't know is this: The terminal was built on an expanse of land with provision made for a shopping mall like the one we have at Alausa. What was being done after that commissioning was the modifications to the mall. Go there today and you will see the terminal fully operation and Jara Mall beside it fully operational as well. The Terminal is right there along with the mall on Simbiat Abiola way. Maybe Ambode was wrong dabbling into so many projects at once, but I tell u even wasn't a disaster or total set-back like most party loyalists want to believe |
Chibudollar:Denver is the least intelligent character in that film . Aswear he's a simpleton. That boy no know anything. I was just smiling at the yeye conversation he had with Tokyo. That his annoying laughter sef.Funny enough I usuay enjoy how Berlin normally talks crazy and make people nervous. raumdeuter:@ Ur third paragraph; that is the problem I have with a state like bayelsa. I mean it may be excusable for someone like Ganduje who governs a state like Kano with about 44 Local Governments, but Thunder needs to fire all past and present governors of Bayelsa state. Bayelsa has just 8 local governments, most of which are on water that doesn't require spending billions on road construction, yet the state is in a sorry state. Imagine Bayelsa got almost the same allocation as Lagos in 2019 with a population of just 1.7million people o. If only the citizens will ask their governors what they do with all these allocations, instead of always shouting federal government is stealing their oil. In fact, each time I see southerners talking about northerners monopolizing their oil at newspaper stand, I always feel the urge to body-slam each and everyone of them John cena style. I just feel oh foolish southerners, who art bewitched thee?

izzou:I will support his arrest and possible prosecution to serve as deterrent to others, but we are mostly hypocrites in Nigeria; before you know it you will see celebrities standing up and putting in word for him. I believe it was even the idea of some of them that he should apologize , hoping once he does that nobody would’ve anything against him again. Smh This country sef |
izzou:Those that could’ve taken his matter up are busy in the joint fight against corona virus. Don’t worry , his day will come. He’s one nonesense boy that has once been called out for his insensitive jokes in the past. This is the second time he’s messing up, his day will come |

Bros if u got an appointment letter prior to Ur assumption of duty, then u should see the modalities for termination of the employment contract. Most companies will require you to give 2 weeks notice before leaving while others peg theirs to a month. Kindly go tru Ur employment letter and see what is written there. The fact is, no matter how bitter your experience was on the job, you will need to give them that notice in lieu or you forfeit your salary. I believe that’s what they are holding over you and there’s nothing you can do about it legally. I will advise you be mindful of how you go about this your campaign against the company,Unless you are not going to mention them in your CV and future interviews. Believe it or not, your future employer ( especially in the banking industry) will send a request for reference of ur character to ur previous employers without your knowledge. Trust me, they take this serious and whatever those ones state in it decides how long you will stay on the job even when they’ve already confirmed you. Just be careful and don’t let the anger you are experiencing presently reduce the chances of you landing a more rewarding job in the future |
