Literature / The Youths Are The Future by Brown999: 1:10am On Sep 18, 2020
As the election is approaching in ondo state, all we need is peace. To my fellow youths out there, don't play violence with politics, or you will die like a Christmas Chicken. You are the future.

Shit is crazy. We need a country, where the boys can walk without the police asking them million dollars questions.

When are the boys going to walk without the fear of being harassed
When are the boys, going to walk with pride, without being labeled a Yahoo boy
Why does his appearance, has to make him a criminal
How does an iPhone, make him notorious
When is investigation and research, going to be effective
Not some police officers, going to clubs to arrest boys, even when they are super innocent of the crime
Police officers are meant to protect souls, not destroy souls.

Literature / Wonder Child. by Brown999: 11:13pm On Sep 13, 2020
I am a wonder child, a victorious baby, God has always got my back, he never leaves me, even when i am going astray.
So many memorable days in my life, but the day i will never forget, was when little me, was new into cooking.
I was feeling like a little miss ronke edoho, but I got the shock of my life, when i realized the gas i was using, was leaking, before i knew what was going on, i was already dancing with flames in the air
I was confused, i was speechless, i thought quenching the fire with water, while standing miles away will help, crazy right, but that was i did, but all i got was zero improvement.
I was gone, i was lost, with millions of thoughts on my mind. I later realized i can switch off the gas, by switching off the cylinder.
That day i realized, life can change within a twinkle of an eye, but God's love is gonna be forever.

When you think you could not take a step further
When you are lost, and all you got on your mind is why, why, why and why
A million dollar questions, no one can answer
A morning of thoughts, a night of tears
Always remember their is hope, even when you feel weak
Never let go, their is always a way
Be strong, cause that is the only option you got.

Music/Radio / Fans Love Or Toxicity. by Brown999: 11:06am On Sep 11, 2020
On a sweet monday morning, girl was taking a walk, on the ever busy street of Twitter. Na so I jam two toxic fanatics, fighting and cursing in it, just to display whose favorite is the best
Fan A- Without my favorite, afrobeat is nothing
Fan B- Your father
Fan A- He pave the way, others walk through it
Fan B- You are a dullard, your father is stupid, my favorite is the best
Really, do we have to go through this
Is this fan love or toxicity
It is super cool for fans to support their favorite, but it is dangerous and deadly, when it becomes toxic in it. We are talking about music, not occultism.

Staring at the atmosphere, all i have in mind, is i and bae holding hands, getting a fore head kiss that speaks to the soul, but it was just me, having a beautiful dream, yes dreams do come true.
The thought of getting hook, on match making sites, is all gone, the crazy moments families keep asking about your spouse, when you are dead single.
Being married in Nigeria comes with respect, a 25 year old married woman, wants respect and a mrs title, even when you are older than her.
Many women believe to earn a respect, and get freedom, you need to get married, which is a wrong mentality, but i don't blame them, but the African culture.

Love is beautiful, love is awesome, love is gentle, love is wicked. Our love was amazing, holding hands and never letting go, was all i do, but life happens.
I cried all day, and watch my love for you die
Love is sweet, but i am super glad, the love between us is , dead, buried and forgotten.

Literature / Stop Southern Kaduna Killing. by Brown999: 6:03pm On Sep 07, 2020
Is there ever going to be a change.
Killing, destruction, chaos, and disaster, has become a culture in southern Kaduna. We prayed for freedom, but all we got is slavery. When are we going to walk free again, without living and breathing in fear.

Literature / Bury Me On A Sunday by Brown999: 5:47pm On Sep 07, 2020
Once upon a time, a city of love, a city of harmony, a peaceful city is now a disaster
The great city of kano is surrounded with mighty walls, preventing the enemies from invading the peace of the solid city, yet the strong walls of kano could not save them, from the foes hungry rifles and swords.
A sea of young lads with rifles and knives shouting, we don't want Christians in kano, we don't want ibo's and yoruba's in kano. It is the will of Allah to kill, Allah has a yes to it.
A beautiful city is now a tragedy, where masses live in fear. Hope for the future. Kano is the future.

Literature / Life As A Teenager, In A Boarding School In Nigeria by Brown999: 4:12pm On Sep 06, 2020
A break free away from home, to the boarding school is a dream of many Nigerian teenagers
An hunger for privacy, and a home away from home, but to me, it was a bitter sweet experience, thou i got my privacy.
The 5am wake up call, the everyday prayer, at the chapel, the constant punishment from the honorable seniors, the fairy tales of mr black, and oh the terrible exercise of cutting grass every saturday morning, with akara and garri, as a reciprocation of a job well done.
Little me, will rather eat my provisions, or drink garri, every christmas is always the happiest day, because we are going to be having a taste of the festive jollof rice, which happens once in a year, and we are gonna see our mamma's and papa's.

It is okay to cry
Cry a thousand drops of tear

A cry that all hope is not lost
And you are gonna be alright.

Literature / I Wonder by Brown999: 3:27pm On Sep 06, 2020
I wonder
Why riches can't be wishes
Why the sky is damn blue
Why power is super intoxicating
Why religion is a coat of many colors
Why the ocean is so deep
If true love do exist
If Judgement is of man
If money is not the root of all evil
Why people worship money
Why does life becomes barren without money.
