Literature / Blood And Power by Brown999: 1:06am On Sep 11
The Endsars movement was created, because of the inhuman and evil conducts of the Nigerian force officers (Police, army and many others)
As a young guy, with a car, driving on the road is terrible, fear of the unknown force officers, asking for the source of your income, cause you are young, rich and making waves
It is so difficult for them to believe a 20 years old is an artiste, writer, footballer, fashion designer, dancer, and making money, buying a car and an apartment, is not a big deal for him
Some aggrieved youths decides it is time for a better life
The protest starts now ( Endsars
End police brutality)
Oct 20 2020
4pm
Mrs tokunbo's apartment
Desola was with her friend, taiwo in the living room, watching a fascinating movie on Africa magic, mrs tokunbo with her melodious voice was in the kitchen, cooking jollof rice
Desola and taiwo are going for the protest at lekki toll gate by 6pm, never knowing the disaster that is about to happen
Mrs tokunbo's jolly jollof rice was ready, desola and taiwo had a blast, with the jollof rice, and were set for the strange journey
Lekki toll gate
Desola and taiwo are now at the lekki toll gate with other protesters, lifting protests cards, with bitter emotions. We want a better life, Being creative is not a crime, Dear police officers, it is okay to become a fashionista
Dark times
An announcement was made that by 7pm, no protester should be at lekki toll gate. To the protesters it was funny, and some were adamant to leave. They were ready for war, ready for any challenge.
A massacre
What was a peaceful protest, became a tragedy. Even with the patriotic waving of the Nigerian flags, many were shot dead by the Nigerian army.
Agony was in the air, desola and taiwo were running for safety, mrs tokunbo was breathing worries
Danger was everywhere, a stray bullet hit taiwo, when she was running with desola, and she died immediately. What a cruel night. Desola kneel beside her friend, and cried, a cry of lost hope. Even the Nigerian army denied killing her friend
Desola was never herself, she was a witness of a massacre, a witness of power drunk army officers
She got home safely and shared her terrifying story with her mum, mrs tokunbo. She was devastated and said the state of Nigeria is super pathetic.
The protesters are our heroes and heroines, ready to die for a great nation, even thou many died, but heroes never die.

October 20. Never ignore.

Being a fashionista, does not make me a fraudster
Being young and rich, does not label me a criminal
Dreads and tattoo does not make me a nuisance
Being creative does not make me a suspect
My appearance does not define me
End police brutality now.

Shit hurts, but i promise
I am not gonna cry
It is so weird how lovers, become strangers suddenly
I try to forget about the memories, and the smell of flowers of you
But I find myself, dwelling in the ocean of you
I just want to let go, and be free
But I promise, I am not gonna cry, and if I am gonna cry. I am not going to cry now.
Literature / Never Leave Me. by Brown999: 5:36pm On Apr 23

You are all i want, all i want is you
I was lost and broken, but now i got
you, i am awake in love
With you, love is beautiful, with you i
am strong in love
Never leave me. With you in my life,
i am alive.

Literature / Tell Me You Love Me by Brown999: 7:47pm On Jan 28
I was lost, i was broken
Don't know if i should stay or leave
I say i am good
But i think i need to let go
Tell me you love me
Tell me you will, never let me down
I don't wanna get a broken heart
I really want to know if you need me
Tell me you want me, tell me you won't let go, cause my heart aches.
Do you love me, or i should let go.

Literature / 18 And Pregnant by Brown999: 9:50am On Dec 17, 2020
Mama last word to me, that faithful night, was never to attend the party, but I believe i was no more the little baby, mama carry on her lap, to tell the sweet fairy tales.
My name is Gold prestige, if famous is a name, it is going to be me. In my high school, every one knows me, i can shake and move the school, at any freaking time.
I sneak out of the house, without mama having a clue, oh yes she is a genius.
Music blowing in the air, sweet melodies, no one can resist. The club was blazing, everywhere was on fire. Finally I am free, i am free like a bird
Antonia my friend, was right beside me, super excited to have me around, she introduced her friend mayowa to me. Mayowa is tall, handsome and hot. I was captivated by his smiles, i really wanna hold him, and never let go.
Antonia had to excused us, and give us some space. I was lost, yeah I just met him, but i was swimming in an ocean of love already. He led us outside, to have some quiet time, at that moment I was speechless, all I want was him. We sat inside his car, discussing about work, life and music. I never knew when he kissed me, i felt alive, i could not resist him, his hands were all over me, i could not say no, i kept asking for more
We had it, it was slow and amazing, i never wanted to let go, i got back to my senses, after the whole scene
This is not happening to me, what was mama gonna say, the thought of being pregnant was driving me crazy
Five weeks later, i was feeling dizzy, i had to go to the hospital. I got a surprise, when the doctor told me i was pregnant.
My life changed real quick within a twinkle of an eye, what am I going to tell my parents. Am I really going to tell mama that I was pregnant. I called mayowa on the phone, to let him know about the development, he was angry, he was worried. I told him I can't abort the baby. He said he is only 19, and too young to be a father
I got home feeling sad, i just got an admission at the university of lagos, to study medicine, but that dream was about to die, cause I got pregnant, but I will keep the dream alive, cause this baby is gonna be a blessing to me
Mama was in the living room, reading nation newspaper. Mama afternoon. I am sorry, i hurt you, i know you never wanted this now, but it happened. Mama i am pregnant. She was lost, she was cold, this wasn't what I
wanted. I am sorry mama, please forgive me. Who is the father, i told her about mayowa, he told her he is not ready for marriage, but he will accept his baby
Being pregnant was a challenge to me, but I never let it stop me, i kept going and never let go. I got an admission to study medicine at the university of lagos. My child is my happiness, my child is my future.

The traders are out there craving for bread, Christmas is here, but it feels so untrue. Now I wanna see the ever jolly kids out there, singing and dancing, just because it is Christmas. @brownsugar

On a beautiful Friday night, akan was craving for mama rasida hot akara, with a soft agege bread.Man decided to step out to satisfy his hunger, but instead of mama rasida akara, na popo kasala. Get in the car now, this was the voice of the police officer, with the way you are dressing, you are a Yahoo boy, can I see your phone. How can a young boy, get the money to buy this expensive phone. On getting to the police station, akan was labeled a Yahoo boy, cause he got dreads, and was using an expensive phone. Dude had to beg to make a contact with his friend, who came for his bail. Popo got to know that your appearance, does not define you. Dreadlocks does not make you a criminal, an expensive phone, does not you a criminal. How can you label a citizen a Yahoo boy, with no investigation or research. Dear Nigeria police force, embrace creativity, embrace the new world. Reform the police force. @brownsugar.

I think Nigeria police force need some education and enlightenment. Is super wrong for a police officer, to arrest anyone, because of a physical appearance. Having dreadlocks or tattoos,is not a crime, that does not make him a Yahoo boy or notorious.Arresting innocent citizens, without investigations got to stop.Being on dreads does not make me a Yahoo boy. Stop police brutality.

When are the boys going to walk without the fear of being harassed
When are the boys, going to walk with pride, without being labeled a Yahoo boy
Why does his appearance, has to make him a criminal
How does an iPhone, make him notorious
When is investigation and research, going to be effective
Not some police officers, going to clubs to arrest boys, even when they are super innocent of the crime
Police officers are meant to protect souls, not destroy souls.

I am a wonder child, a victorious baby, God has always got my back, he never leaves me, even when i am going astray.
So many memorable days in my life, but the day i will never forget, was when little me, was new into cooking.
I was feeling like a little miss ronke edoho, but I got the shock of my life, when i realized the gas i was using, was leaking, before i knew what was going on, i was already dancing with flames in the air
I was confused, i was speechless, i thought quenching the fire with water, while standing miles away will help, crazy right, but that was i did, but all i got was zero improvement.
I was gone, i was lost, with millions of thoughts on my mind. I later realized i can switch off the gas, by switching off the cylinder.
That day i realized, life can change within a twinkle of an eye, but God's love is gonna be forever.

On a sweet monday morning, girl was taking a walk, on the ever busy street of Twitter. Na so I jam two toxic fanatics, fighting and cursing in it, just to display whose favorite is the best
Fan A- Without my favorite, afrobeat is nothing
Fan B- Your father
Fan A- He pave the way, others walk through it
Fan B- You are a dullard, your father is stupid, my favorite is the best
Really, do we have to go through this
Is this fan love or toxicity
It is super cool for fans to support their favorite, but it is dangerous and deadly, when it becomes toxic in it. We are talking about music, not occultism.
