Politics / Timeline Of Femi Fani-kayode Attack On Igbos by BrownLondon(m): 8:07pm On Sep 16, 2020 |
NUMBER 1. https://www.xvideos.com/video56590047/houston_suga_slim_blu_magic_chi-chi_wild_threesome_fuckathon He said this in October, 2012. How the Igbo introduced tribalism to Nigerian Politics, By Femi Fani-Kayode The first statement from Charles Onyeama, which was made in 1945, was the first overtly tribal and divisive comment that was made and recorded in the politics of southern Nigeria in our history. That is where and when tribalism in the south actually started. After that comment, and as a direct reaction to it, the Yoruba established the ”Egbe Omo Oduduwa” to further and protect Yoruba interests and after that came the formation of the Action Group in 1948. The second statement from Zik, which was made in 1949 (and which clearly shows that the great Zik of Africa had forgotten that the NCNC was not an Igbo party at the beginning and that it had in fact been established by an upper class and very well educated Yoruba man by the name of Sir Herbert Macaulay, one of the famous ”Black Victorians” from the Lagos Colony, and who, at his death bed, was gracious enough to hand over the leadership of the party to him even though he was Igbo) confirmed that tribalism was here to stay in the south and that ever since that time the Igbo had an agenda to dominate others. This sentiment and this unfortunate Igbocentric attitude is what cost Zik the premiership of the Western Region in 1953 when the NCNC narrowly lost to the Action Group. It is clear from this that if you want to know who started tribalism in southern politics and the politics of the southern protectorate of Nigeria, it was not the Yoruba or the southern minorities but the Igbo. The excesses of the Igbo State Union and their treatment of the southern minorities and the Yoruba from 1943 till 1967 was completely unacceptable. The rest of the south were prepared to accept the Igbo as equals with open arms but they were not prepared to be politically dominated or conquered by them. Worst still, the first coup in the history of Nigeria, which was the Jan 15th 1966 coup d’etat, led by Major Ifejuana and Major Kaduna Nzeogwu, was essentially an Igbo coup and an Igbo grab for power. I say this because 95 per cent of those that took part in it were Igbo and 99 per cent of the political and military leaders that were brutally murdered during its execution were non-Igbo. It was this coup and its sheer brutality that led to the even more brutal northern officers counter-coup of July 1966 (in which 300 Igbo officers were killed in one night including the Igbo Head of State, Gen. Aguiyi-Ironsi, and his Yoruba host, the Military Governor of the Western Region, Adekunle Fajuyi who sought to protect him), the pogrom of Igbos in the north (in which over 100,000 Igbo civilians were killed in a few weeks) and the Nigerian civil war (in which 2 million Nigerians and Biafrans died). These are the facts of our history. Live and learn. If you want to know who introduced tribalism into southern politics, it was the Igbo. If you want to know who carried out the first coup in our country, it was the Igbo. Having done the painstaking research over a number of years these are my findings and this is my conclusion. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/105036-how-the-igbo-introduced-tribalism-to-nigerian-politics-by-femi-fani-kayode.html

Igbochief001:I don't know why you're shifting the goal post. Here is the timeline; Zik made that comment in 1949. Few years after, he installed a premier in his native Eastern region, and in a bid to achieve his plan came to the Western region to context (which is very stupid), he lost. Then the generation election (I don't know the best way to say this) came which his party came out victorious, Then the time to form the government came, the Western leader travelled to Asaba to finalize AG and ziks party joint govt. But instead Zik colluded with his Northern masters) (it's obvious he felt Awolowo would not be a pushover, he taught the Fulanis master would be, but he was wrong) We all saw/read how he appointed Igbo people to held some organisations in the west like UI Vc, Unilag VC despite tens of hundreds of qualified native westerners. What about the wahala in the Western house? Was it not caused by Zik and his northern masters? . . . Now he saw that the Igbo domination wasn't coming forth as expected, what can we do.. Let's kill Their leaders...... Few months to the coup, he travelled. Some Igbo senior military officers resigned few days to the coup. And the five Majors executed the plan, pheew. Ironsi assumed the post of the head of state, instead of punishing the coupist, he refused and promoted them. Isn't the timeline above obvious? "Igbo domination of Nigeria is only a matter of time" Charles Onyeama 1945. Karma!!!! 2 Likes |

Igbochief001: Azikiwe in one of his speech iterated how the gods designed Igbos to dominate Nigeria, how he was the only leader to reject the succession clause. We all saw/read about the atrocities he committed in the Western region ; From kicking against movement of capital away from Lagos, the Yorubas/Western region never wanted the FCT. How he masterminded the mid-west referendum (well, i may be wrong) Trying to be premier of Western region. Calling Lagos a no man's land. Involvement in Akintola/Awolowo (together with northern leaders) which led to Awo spending few year in prison etcetera. He had the chance to form the government with Awolowo but refused, he knew he would not be able to achieve his domination plan because Awolowo is one hell of a brilliant man, he chooses to form it with the fulani thinking they would be pushover, but he was wrong. It's audible to the deaf and clear to the blind that his inability to totally control the government led to the coup, he clearly had a hand in the coup. He wouldn't have travel prior to the coup. And talking about the coupist plan to install Awolowo, isn't that foolish ? You mean the same Awolowo that was jailed by Eastern and Northern joint leadership? Let's look at it from this angle, the coup took place on the 15th of january, and he, Awolowo was still in the prison untill July? (That's some 6 months after the coup) and the coupist didn't still release awo from prison, didn't that sound foolish? Ironsi didn't punish the coupist and that shows that he has a hand in it too, Ironsi should have release Awo from prison since you said the objective of the coup was to pave way for Awolowo. Let's argue with logic nah. 3 Likes |

Cc. Igboid Proeast Igbochief001 Rugaria PROUDIGBO What could be the cause of the bloody coup, was it because Nnamdi Azikiwe's famous domination plan wasn't coming as expected ( though you folks dominated the the civil and military service then, perhaps Azikiwe, Ironsi and the 5 Igbo killers wanted TOTAL domination?) Why did Azikiwe travelled in build up to these night of blood? 4 Likes |

* Kaduna Nzeogwu *Timothy Onwuatuegwu * Emmanuel Ifeajuna * Don Okafor *Humphrey Chukwuka * Chris Anuforo and * Adewale Ademoyegun The 1966 Nigerian coup also known as Igbo coup began on the 15th of January 1966 with mutinous Nigerian soldiers led by by Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu and Emmanuel Ifeajuna killed 22 people including the Prime Minister of Nigeria, many senior politicians, many senior Army officers (including their wives), and sentinels on protective duty. The coup plotters attacked the cities of Kaduna , Ibadan , and Lagos while also blockading the Niger and Benue River within a two-day span of time before the coup plotters were subdued. The General Officer Commanding the Nigerian Army, Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi , was compelled to take control of the government of a country in upheaval, inadvertently putting Nigeria's nascent democracy on hold. The president of Nigeria, Nnamdi Azikiwe left the country in late 1965, first for Europe, then on a cruise to the Caribbean. Under the law, the Senate president , Nwafor Orizu , became acting president during his absence and had all the powers of the president. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1966_Nigerian_coup_d'état |
